life is GOOD when small things like replacing a washer is all that brings you down. the ability to buy a new one so quick is a blessing. and cooking on the griddle always make ppl smile.
We're so tired we do frozen most of the time but watching your channel gives me ideas that are quick n easy. Thank you for what you do. You help a lot of people out including me. My fiance appreciates the ideas I get from you. 😀👏☝️
I’m glad to find some of your old videos. I’ve been watching a lot of them and learn so much if it wasn’t your videos, I would not be enjoying the fruits of my labor on the Blackstone. These things are amazing. It would not be amazing without your directions. Thank you so fucking much. The world of food has been so much greater after getting a Blackstone and watching your videos there’s no way you could be one without the other thank you.
I'll be honest here. I cheat. While at work, i watch your videos and and others like yours (BUT MOSTLY YOURS!) and i get i Ideas. Everybody has long days at work or at school but i get all the accolades for coming up with a good dinner...if i can pull it off like you. So i thank you, sir! You deserve all the credit, really.
You inspired me to get a blackstone and my family wasnt wealthy either but God blessed us and we always ate well. Keep making vids and God bless you and your family. Pollo asada tacos is a go to, cooks quick and the Mexican market is right up the road
My wife and I are eating Keto for over a year now and we feel great. Thanks for the low carb content. I will follow some of your recipes on my new griddle.
I bought a small black stone for camping. Considering getting rid of my old propane system and buying a large black stone for my back yard. Thank you for what you do!
what do you call this, a cooking channel, a cooking vlog, I don't know....olive oil -- awesome -- just enjoying cooking his family's supper while holding a conversation with himself -- awesome! Thanks for the video; liked and subscribed!
Heck, I don't know really what it is. I just like to cook and tell a story here and there and hope someone wants to watch. Haha. Thanks for the support my friend.
Because of you , got my first griddle and been cooking on it 3-4 times a week. Learned a lot from you man ! Food comes out amazing and always learning from your videos. Thanks again and keep up with the great content !
i dont take subscriptions lightly but this guy makes watching someone else cook, fun. I've now added new lingo to my cooking. "Mike Lowwwwwwry's", "dem's some goo' groceries!".
First time seeing your vid. Really appreciate you being real and talking about having a rough day. I have never seen any other cooking channel do that.
Outback Steakhouse has a location at the Tampa Bay Rays stadium and it’s the only place I’ve ever been able to get mouth-watering steak bites. Now I have yet another reason I “need” this griddle! Good groceries! 💛
Love the videos. You asked for ideas for weeknight meals. We bought a cake pan for a wedding cake at Bed Bath & Beyond. Drilled a hole in the middle and inserted a handle to make it a lid. It is big enough to cover a pizza. Quick meal, try a pizza on a large taco and cover it with the lid while cooking. Watched every one of your videos and you have changed our lifestyle....thank you.
Nice invention and good food too I bet! Thanks for your kind words too. Hopefully it was for the good. I appreciate you as a follower! Thank you as well! God Bless my friend.
@@thehungryhusseyThanks for the kind response. My wife suggested I tell you her favorite meal is tilapia and asparagus. We cover the asparagus with parmesan cheese and use a lemon flavored olive oil. Yes it was for the good.
My wife is 51 and has been cooking for 40 years. She STILL starts everything at the same time instead of timing everything the finish at the same time. I love her to death but if I want a good meal, I go to a restaurant or I make it myself.
Thanks for all the great vids, I finally decided on a Blackstone 36” Griddle. All the content you post is great for a guy like me that’s never had or used a griddle. I’ve gotten lots of great tips and ideas for care and maintenance, to food. New subscriber here, thanks again for taking the time to do this channel 😉
Quesadillas, chicken, beef or shrimp..just love how easy they are to griddle. Onions, peppers, Taco Fajitas seasoning by Blackstone. Any type cheese you like. I love cheddar or pepperjack..tortillas...yum..
Hungry Hussey, I own a 2 family home and the second floor fridge and water heater went close to each other so I know the feeling! But we blessed like you said! And my week night quick meal is spaghetti or hot dogs and hamburgers!!
Even though I have a 36 inch Blackstone like you have here, I also have a two burner stove I made years ago and one side is set up for a woc to sit in and the other for large pot with a cutting board or work surface between the burners. . When I do stir fried chicken and rice for a quick meal during the week, I choose to use my woc to do the job. It actually is better than the griddle as it gets hotter in a confined area and much easier to keep all the ingredients close together. I have used both to do so but the woc hands down is the better cooker. The woc is also great for fried chicken. On the left side to the cooking station is my bad boy. The Big Green Egg that I have had now for 14 years.Chef Jerry
Always a great day when there is a new Hungry Hussey video! That steak looked DELICIOUS! And to answer your question: my weeknight go-to meal is either spaghetti (or tacos, or pizza).
Just used my Blackstone for the first time and this is what I made with some potatoes, perfect way to get well done steak that tasted great and was fast. Thanks I never thought of this and then I saw your video.
Poppyseed chicken is my easy go-to mid week meal. Grab a rotisserie chicken shred it up then add 8 or 16 oz ( depends on how much you want to make) of sour cream and either 1 or 2 cans of cream of chicken soup and mix it well. Put in and 8x8 or 9x13 there again depends how much your making. Top it with a stick of melted butter mixed with a sleeve of crushed Ritz crackers. Bake at 350 for an hour. It's amazing!!! Give it a try
what would you call this? How about "Death By Chicken"! The only thing missing is bacon! What happened to the poppyseed? Consider adding sauteed mushrooms (saute them separately) and maybe something red, such as chunks of sauteed red bell peppers. Now you have something tasty and something that will have visual appeal! Good luck!
Keep up the channel. From London, Uk. Easy mid week... chicken shish marinated in yogurt and mustard on skewers with Peppers, salad and rice + yogurt 👍🏼
Added this to my list. You make it so relaxing 😎 when you cook. I know you don’t be stressing. My go to is fried rice and stir fry or a variety of quesadillas or one of your go to’s.👍
That's a great intro for your future pbs cooking show! But ya gotta have "that's some good groceries!" In there somewhere. Cubed steak is my go to thing when I want quick, easy &tasty for dinner. This looks fantastic! Hats off to ya! My best to you & the family! Kathi in AZ. (Give that ol' washing machine up to the good Lord and you know He'll take care of you!)
Dag gone it! You're the second person to note I didn't say "that's some good groceries". Somehow my dumb self forgets. I love cubed steak. Mom used to just fry it up for us for dinner or even for sandwiches. Agreed about the good Lord!
i just got a black stone griddle grill and i absolutely love it! I have used it for breakfast and dinner for the last few weeks. I like to cook chicken medallions on it and thick hickory smoked bacon and even fried taters with kielbasa.
One of my go to weeknight dinners is a loco moco. It is a bed of rice with a hamburger Pattie on it (we put 2) Brown gravy (from a jar heated up) over it, and topped with a sunny side up egg. It sounds like a lot but it is really quick to make.
That meal is looking great and your family must have loved it so much and the family dog loving her meat also. I envy your family to be eating so good all the time and having you cooking for them regularly and making everyone happy.
Your videos are great!! I just got my first blackstone 36 pro and have been enjoying all of your videos. I would love to see more keto cookin! That’s some good groceries right there!
pork chop chunks with garlic, ginger, green beans over rice or stk bites is our go to. Steak bites I use garlic, ginger brown sugar soy sauce pepper YUM and a side of greens
Just got a Blackstone for my birthday, well its a early Birthday present. Seen all your video, your the reason I got the Blackstone. Keep up the good work.
Great video Matt. My Friday go to meal is shrimp, steak stir fry with Hokkien Noddles from walmart and what ever veggies I have in the fridge with teriyaki sauce. Perry...........
Try it with chunked up cuts of tomato, green pepper, onion and stir fry it up in some oyster sauce and serve over rice. Learned that from a Hawaiian when we lived over there for 2 years. Soo good. Think I'm going to try your recipe tonight. Tfs 😁
I really do enjoy watching your videos. Hang in there! Our go to weeknight meals are Taco Tuesdays; chicken Caesar salads; stir fry, griddle pizza and Mac n Cheese (note Mac n Cheese in the instant pot). Quick and Easy is the way to go after working all day! Can’t wait to give your steak bites a try. Maybe they will become one of my go to meals!
watching this video, I feel like this guy had more than just a replacement of new washer on his mind. hope everything got better. Enjoy the channel, you were recommended by a friend, and now I want a griddle.
Go to meal. Greek chicken. Tenders cut into bite size pieces, lemon infused olive oil, and Greek seasoning. (I get the seasoning at Ingles) Toasted Pita bread with olive oil. I serve it with Greek olives & pepperonchini peppers. Quick and easy!
Looks great! I love my Blackstone as well. We usually do a shredded rotisserie chicken, cilantro rice, guacamole, salsa and small flour tortilla tacos. Quick and good.
My wife just got me the small blackstone, mainly for camping, the only thing I've made are smash burgers. I liked your channel because of the griddle and the BGE. I have the large and the mini max. I also take the mini max camping as well.
We will do what I call kitchen sink pasta. Cook some sort of pasta. While it is cooking, cook some sort of protein (chicken, shrimp, steak, etc) with some Italian seasoning. Add some items you have on hand such as sun dried tomatoes, olives, artichoke hearts, pesto, peppers, onions, broccoli, even pepperoni. Toss cooked pasta on top, toss it around. Add some fresh herbs if you have any and maybe some mozzarella or parmigiana cheese and serve it up.
Appliances used to last 20 years, now if they actually make it 10 years your on borrowed time. Pretty sad how everything made today is designed to break so you have to buy another one. Always love your videos and keep smilin! My go to meal is smash burgers with onions and mushrooms.
Hey Huss! Breakfast is the go to here. During the week for dinner it’s cheeseburgers! On a side note love the intro to your video and the pauses with your logo. That gives it a nice touch!
Another good one HH. Will have to give this one a try one night. Some of our quick weeknight meals are smoked sausage & potatoes, tacos, or breakfast for dinner. I get you on your washing machine situation. Always a bummer when something goes out unexpectedly. It also seems nowadays everything is built to be disposable. It costs just as much and sometimes more to fix something than to replace it. But as you said, that’s life. Enjoyed the video. Keep up the great work sir 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
@@thehungryhussey thanks man! > i do a lot of grilling out side on the pit all seasons even winter > dam bugs, flies, gnats, mosquitoes other than that its Gr8
When we don't know what's for dinner, its spaghetti. That being said, I make a pretty good spaghetti. The trick is adding meat and mushrooms to the jar of sauce and my secret trick is to rinse out the jar with whatever red wine we have open. Fresh veg and a little red wine and the sauce tastes like homemade.
I can definitely feel your pain about experiencing sudden financial woes. Earlier this year in June 2022 our HVAC system decided to die. So, $6800 later we had a new system. It took a week, a full 7 days, to get a new system in and we were lucky because we have a 4 ton system. Anything smaller and it could have been months. Due to the heat, 6 days in, our refrigerator decided to die so add another $2000 to this little snafu. Not a fun time. Thanks for another great video!
that looks good, and for the weekday meal, i made pork chops one night and decided on mac and cheese for the side. long story short, i got lazy and just diced up the pork chops and threw it in the mac and cheese. absolutely delicious.
Ah man, I'm good. Just hate when things like that happen. Never realize how much you lean on an appliance. Thanks for your support buddy! Have a blessed one buddy!
I like to grill some hotdogs over an open fire on my Camp Chef FTG600, then add chili and coleslaw to it. Lol. Nice dish Brother, your channel is really growing nicely. Steak nuggets are the truth.
Man I’d do anything to cook with you, I just refinished my griddle and hopped back on this channel to get some good idea - this is definitely tomorrow nights dinner
Gotta keep on keepin on. Our goto is usually some type of fish, usually mahi-mahi or salmon blackened with a rice medely and some type of veggie like broccoli or zuccini and a nice big glass of Cabernet. Hits the spot when you want a light dinner and I sleep like a baby. 😜
I know what you mean about unplanned purchases. For the life of me, I have never been able to plan an appliance purchase, I run em till they don't run. I seem to be fortunate enough to find a suitable one on sale somewhere. Fortunately, they seem to last 10+ years. We need a dishwasher now but I will wait for sales because I can always manually wash the dishes until I find one. Back to the menu, looks good and it is similar to what I do, like stir fry, you can go any direction with a recipe like this. Keep it up.
For Supper that's quick & good....Grilled Peanut Butter & Honey Sandwich. Butter both sides , when first side gets brown turn and drizzle honey on that side until other side browns. Next time try Cavenders Greek Seasoning on your vegetables !
Love it, you know what’s good-the best time to eat that plate is standing around and hot off the grill. The family is usually waiting in the house for it,,,it’s not the same that way--eat that hot off the grill
life is GOOD when small things like replacing a washer is all that brings you down. the ability to buy a new one so quick is a blessing. and cooking on the griddle always make ppl smile.

Shesh man! That's terrible and hate to hear that. Hopefully all is well now and you're cool and have cold food!
@@thehungryhussey All is good and thanks again for the content!
that looks good, and for the weekday meal, i made pork chops one night and decided on mac and cheese for the side. long story short, i got lazy and just diced up the pork chops and threw it in the mac and cheese. absolutely delicious.
Dang son that concoction sounds legit too!
Awesome that you made something for the pup to gotta feed out furkids
Gotta feed Maggie girl.
The Hungry Hussey
So glad you posted a vid! Best Channel on UA-cam! Sorry to see you down, brother. Hope things improve. God Bless You and your Fam!
Ah man, I'm good. Just hate when things like that happen. Never realize how much you lean on an appliance.
Thanks for your support buddy!
Have a blessed one buddy!
God morning Chef Hussey. Another delicious receipt. And you giving good aides for cooking.😊 God bless you 🙏 Chef Hussey 🙏😊
Hi Maria! Thank you for watching and supporting. Have a blessed rest of the weekend.
Chicken thighs are our go too. Lettuce wraps, BBQ sandwiches, fajitas, tacos, etc.
For some reason, me and chicken thighs just don't get along. Not sure why. Haha.
I like to grill some hotdogs over an open fire on my Camp Chef FTG600, then add chili and coleslaw to it. Lol. Nice dish Brother, your channel is really growing nicely. Steak nuggets are the truth.
I hear ya! haha. Thanks for the kind words. Your channel is growing well too my friend.
Let’s give it a try !!!
I had some left over T-Bone and Ribeye steak and looking for a different way to reheat them. Found this video and it worked out terrific.
Sounds great!
Quick and easy,love it.Yum😋
Thank you so much! So, where are you these days? Still traveling around?
Man I’d do anything to cook with you, I just refinished my griddle and hopped back on this channel to get some good idea - this is definitely tomorrow nights dinner
Thank you! I’d love to cook with everyone!
I love waking up to you lmao, you should try cheeseburger meatballs oh and by the way you didn't say your catchphrase again LOL
Dang. I didn't say "good groceries"? The washing machine really had me messed huh?
Steak bites work for me Matthew. Nice vlog video and make sure Maggie gets here 👍
Thanks Louis! Appreciate your support my friend.
Made this tonight but added bell peppers and mushrooms for the lady. Damn great idea thanks for sharing
Awesome buddy! Thanks for the feedback! Bet those veggies made it great!
Keep it up.
Thanks pal! You and I operate similarly. Certainly a blank canvas!
For Supper that's quick & good....Grilled Peanut Butter & Honey Sandwich. Butter both sides , when first side gets brown turn and drizzle honey on that side until other side browns. Next time try Cavenders Greek Seasoning on your vegetables !
Call the meal, Steak Bite Delight.
Sound like a plan!
Love it, you know what’s good-the best time to eat that plate is standing around and hot off the grill.
The family is usually waiting in the house for it,,,it’s not the same that way--eat that hot off the grill
Haha... Cooks choice right! Thanks for stopping by my friend.
