    It's time. I made my choice and uploaded a Stage 2 remap to Zippy! Who did I pick? Who did you guess I would pick?
    After all of previous videos from installing hardware, to track days, to testing different maps, it's led to this. I made a top 3 and after careful consideration spent some Dollarydoos.
    This is not the end. We still have reviews, track days, 1/4 mile runs and other stuff to come so stick around.
    Follow the cars progress on Instagram @fordyford215 although that may need to change now.

      @@fordyford exactly, i put it on myself and i absolutely love it. I went for a custom tune but i didnt like it at all it seemed like there was no turbo before 4k revs so i went back again, put it to stock and put a pumaspeed 2r tune on myself. Thit time it just keeps pulling man!

    Great video Liam, good to see the smile on your face when you put your foot down, you obviously made the right choice for you, which makes complete sense having the REVO dealers on your doorstep....👍 REVO were my second choice for Stage 2, after TRS, but that was literally only down to geographical convenience, H-Sport Performance (TRS dealer) are only 15 minutes away from me. I recommend the MJ Performance UA-cam channel , if you haven't watched any of their videos, they're a REVO dealer and have some great Fiesta ST180 videos, their 'Little Beast' is awesome..👌

      Thanks Pete.
      Yeah it's great every time I put my foot down. Used a fair bit of fuel since Wednesday lol.
      There are Revo dealers in Australia yes and a Revo Aus HQ.
      I have watched and followed MJP for a while now and looking forward to their little beast progress.

    Great video dude, I went with the stage 2R Maxd software, from Pumaspeed.. completely transformed the car 👍🏼
    We really are spoilt for choice with tuning on the Fiesta 😁

    Very interesting, thanks for sharing. That final torque figure bloody hell haha. In saying that 363Nm before Revo aka MT is not too shabby at all 😁.

    Hey mate did you have any issue with the REVO tuners still running a stock cat back?

    • @fordyford
      @fordyford  2 роки тому +1

      I didn't no. I know they suggest a larger cat back but do have a good flowing sports cat/down pipe. I haven't had any issues a year and 2 months on.

      @@fordyford Awesome, have been following your build and been thinking of going a similar route. I'm over in Perth, there is a couple of Revo dealers here. I have a whoosh catted downpipe on the way and wanting to go stage 2. Got the other breathing mods (intake and intercooler) necessary but don't really want a much louder exhaust. So thinking I'll stick with stock and get it tuned. Any other advice?

    • @fordyford
      @fordyford  2 роки тому

      @@SpeedyRampage ideally I would have had a cat back to be honest and maybe one day I will get one.
      Make sure your spark plugs are changed when they are supposed to be changed and use good quality fuel always.

    Is it true the fiesta cannot be live mapped and only generic maps?

    • @fordyford
      @fordyford  2 роки тому +1

      The U.S Fiestas have custom tunes. I think the ecu can be tuned but for the cost, it may be aswell getting an "off the shelf" flash map. There aren't many options here in Australia, maybe more in the UK.

    • @CJ-fu2pn
      @CJ-fu2pn 2 роки тому +1

      @@fordyford thanks for your reply, well the plan is to run mine at 300+ BHP but I’m sure you understand with that amount of power I really would like a custom tune. I read the ECU can only be tuned through data logging and wanted to find out if it was a rumour or not.

    • @fordyford
      @fordyford  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah I understand but at 300hp there are still plenty of tried and tested flash maps out there.
      Find someone local who can custom tune it and go for it.

    i went laird performance stage 1 and dyno’d it at a group day and it equalled or beat REVO stage 2 maps i was MP215 before too - dyno stage 1 was 241 bhp on the laird Nexus map. REVO stage 2 was 233-242 stage 2 now 259 on stage 2 Nexus 🙏👌

    • @fordyford
      @fordyford  3 роки тому

      Thanks for watching. Nexus 2N was a great map indeed but there is always more to a choice than peak dyno figures.

      @@fordyford yeah exactly it drove like a dream at stage 1 now stage 2 is epic - doesn’t push the car too hard either 👌

      Did u know that laird performance maps Is revo maps but they alound to push more power then revo dose

    • @fordyford
      @fordyford  3 роки тому +1

      I didn't know that about the Nexus software but to be honest, they felt completely different, not even like the Revo with extra, it felt very very different. Like a seperately developed map.

    • @richardhurr31
      @richardhurr31 3 роки тому +1

      It's all very well quoting dyno numbers but what I'm more interested in is how they would all compare in a rolling race from say 30-120mph.

  • @x58evo2puma7
    @x58evo2puma7 3 роки тому +2

    I though cp Collins wasn’t very good over here like I said in my last message I had cp Collins stage 4 map and only got 296hp but went to pumaspeed and only stage 3 map and got 336hp with the x47 I know this was the upgraded turbo but with cp Collins they don’t push there map to high figures like other companies dose

    • @fordyford
      @fordyford  3 роки тому

      IMO there is more to a tune than outright peak power. I personally don't see a point to pushing absoluteky everything to it's limit and risking (potentially) a much shorter engine life.
      The CP2E map felt really good. From a drivers perspective it made you want to drive the car.

    • @richardhurr31
      @richardhurr31 3 роки тому +1

      Going by just numbers on the dyno? Different dyno, different day = different results. Plus dynos can be manipulated. I've seen Collins CP4 make nearly 320bhp on a decent dyno.

    • @x58evo2puma7
      @x58evo2puma7 3 роки тому

      @@richardhurr31 yes it all depends what turbo You had on the time and when it was done when I got mine done there maps wasn’t very good and where I got my car dyno at the time was a very good dyno they get certificate every 6 months to make sure the dyno is correct so I was going on my car all car are different two cars are not the same

    When is the Stage 3 reviews coming?

    • @fordyford
      @fordyford  2 роки тому +1

      I don't think there are enough in Sydney to make such a comprehensive video. I only know of 2 or 3.... potentially a 3rd or 4th in the making.
      The hardest part about a stage 3 video is the different maps on the same turbo and the number of turbo's available sold as "stage 3". I don't think we have the variety here to do a decent job of it. I could maybe drive some of them individually though after our lockdown with no end in sight.

    • @jasonsalt524
      @jasonsalt524 2 роки тому +1

      @@fordyford That's understandable. I think if you could drive them individually as you say, that would still be great info/insight :) Great stuff so far!
