Here is session 1 of the Prospeed Racing end of year track day I attended in November.
Some footage was corrupt hence the lack of intro and outro on the day.
Pheasant Wood is a short, technical circuit approximately 2 hours South of Sydney near the small town of Marulan. It's a great little track to test your skill and your cars ability in multiple environments such as on and off camber bends, uphill and downhill breaking and bends with multiple apex points.
Enjoy.

    Hey, how did the switch from the Mountune MP215 software to the Revo Stage 2 go? I installed the MP215 about 1 year ago and I'm not sure if I can easily switch to another software. Since i am upgrading the downpipe and intercooler now, stage 2 is kinda obvious. Mountune has the new Stage 2 M235, but i'm not sure if it's worth it. Greetings from Germany :D

    • @fordyford
      @fordyford 9 днів тому

      The only way to switch to a Revo tune is to take it to a Revo dealer, there should be a few in Germany. They will do it all for you. I don't know much about the Mountune 235 map to be honest but it does seem a lot more convenient than that old M230 map.

    • @der_jann2k163
      @der_jann2k163 9 днів тому

      @ Okay, thank you for the reply! Do you know something about high exhaust temperatures with the mp215? Because my stock downpipe broke after 1 year of mp215. And i kinda assume it‘s because of the high temperatures in the manifold..

    • @fordyford
      @fordyford 9 днів тому

      @der_jann2k163 I haven't heard that before no. Possibly your downpipe was blocked or slightly blocked causing it? I had my MP215 fitted from brand new at the dealership when I bought the car and only fitted my 200cel catted downpipe much later. I didn't have that issue

    • @der_jann2k163
      @der_jann2k163 9 днів тому

      @@fordyford Ok, good to know. I‘m tempted to see if there‘s an performance gain with the downpipe, and most of all that my fiesta won‘t kill me anymore while standing haha. Its crazy how the fumes smell xD

    • @fordyford
      @fordyford 9 днів тому

      @der_jann2k163 no performance gain eith the downpipe alone and it will cause the check engine light and an 02 sensor code with the MP215 map. Won't do any harm, just pops the code until you get a remap that cancels it.

    Would you recommend this? I have the same car on mountune m310 and mountune springs. I like them and have been on 7 years but the rears are corroded. After looking at other springs I feel the only ones to replace are mountune again as they are the lowest ones without being too low / harsh and I have never had any issue with scraping arches etc I was thinking mountune springs again and at somepoint the b8 shocks to go with but on some images they seem to sit higher (maybe from the increased strength) After lots of research I'm thinking to change to these. As they are Bilstein and adjustable so should be able to be as low if not lower than mountune springs and maybe a better ride? As somebody who has done this EXACT change in setup what is your thoughts? Is it worth it? Or would you still be more than happy on the mountune springs paired with the standard damper

    I have a US fiesta SE 1.6 ti-vct 5 door hatch with the 22mm front sway bar and am going with the bilstein b14's and want the dna rear adjustable torsion bar. will i also need the rear sway bar? I am hoping the adj torsion bar will be enough to sort out the rear.

    • @fordyford
      @fordyford 5 місяців тому

      I honestly don't know. I do know that having already installed the whiteline rear sway bar and then the mishimoto rear trunk brace, there was no notable different adding the trunk brace.

    • @ravenzbot
      @ravenzbot 5 місяців тому

      @@fordyford iirc there's a difference between rear sway and torsion, but the claimed outcome is identical... less body roll and more stiffness.

      @@fordyford also it seems this kit is missing necessary bits that if you didn't want to re-use or didn't have, would need purchasing. I think I saw a list somewhere but I can't find the thread anywhere. so far i think it's rear top mounts and the bolts you were talking about, but there's a bit more as well.
