Being once in the tuning business myself I can tell you that it's a form of art to make a car with almost double the power perform as you describe it: driveable.
Great cars dont care what anyone says. Im stage 3 with Peron 300bhp on mine. 150k miles on the clock never had one issue. Will be upset when I eventually part ways with it. Been my daily for 5 years. 👍😊 Also 40 plus MPG. LOVE the car. Will get my mk2 RS in next 12 months and tbh I want to keep the ST, I don't want to sell it and someone ends up writing it off.
holy shit! I also own one and I only have 150k Kilometers on my car... not even miles and I'm afraid that I'm going to get problems with the engine even dough the car never have let me down... So you mean its save to go stage 2 revo?
@@Gronkhsau I think it would be safe yes as long as everything's done properly and you get the relevant hardware to go with it, intercooler etc. Mines been stage 3 since day 1 pretty much. 7k rpm are quite easy with upgraded turbos. Stock turbos are little so people get low end torque for everyday use but the power drop completely at the top (around 6k rpm on stock fiesta ST)
@@lordofkiwi5144 the idea of a turbo sounds exciting, I'd love to try a car with an already decent sized engine, and a big turbo just for top end power, so you can drive around at low revs relatively efficiently when you're not in a rush, but then wind it out and progressively build mroe and more power as it builds towards the crescendo of a redline, and then get the satisfying waste gate as you let off. That's what I want from a turbo car
@chrisogrady28 big turbos are fun mate my astra is on a stage 2 turbo soon to be a stage 3, later on power delivery of course but great top end power 💪💪

Plenty of cars make more noise than this on the road without the po po's batting an eye lid. Besides, crackle is optional and you can always add a resonator to the Milltek to make it OEM quiet.
STealthWerx would adding a resonator to an aftermarket exhaust eliminate all exhaust drone and make it stock quiet? The only reason i haven’t went with a stage 2 upgrade is because of the louder exhausts, they sound great but just not for me, i had an older 99 fiesta 1.6 with a loud exhaust that i hated after a year or so of daily driving to work but i would definitely upgrade if the exhaust was quiet like stock. I’ve had the mountune MP215 for the past year or so and love it but i would like a bit more power now.
Stage 2 offers the option of a decat. This isn't meant to be accusatory, and I really don't want to sound like a killjoy, but with the law the way it is, shouldn't a decat be discouraged?
Use of a sports cat is actively encouraged and recommended, not just for legal reasons but for the environment too. My own testing has shown very little difference in performance between the two (which is why I had one fitted) so long as the monolith is 5 inch diameter it will do up to 400bhp on a 200 cell decat no problem.
Mustang_S550 haven’t had a single problem to list a few upgraded parts but not all I’ve got a intercooler turbo(x47r) boost pipes fuel rail intake decat and exhaust but no forging needed unless I get the x57r turbo which I plan on doing as I want 450 hp 😂🤣
Randomly coming across the video and comments but noticed you asked just a day ago. For me it was between the fiesta st and fit sport. I went with the fiesta due to it somehow (in my case) being cheaper than the fit sport and I'm loving it so far. The little car has some kick in stock form! Takes on the back roads with ease and will soon find out how it is on track. For the price you can't beat either but for more daily fun with some nice turbo noises lol I'd go fiesta 👍
Joseph Fraticelli thank you for your fast reply. The price is of course important for me. I’ll continue searching fiesta st over Honda Fit sport. Of course, if someone I know sell his fit, I’ll buy it (except if it was abused) but the fiesta is somehow interesting. It looks good and is lighter. I found an mx3 with 70 000 km on the clock (1994) for only 1500 CAD but I don’t need a car now. I hope that there will be more offers for the fiesta and for the mx3 later on. Have fun with your fiesta!

Arbitrary and unimportant, I know, but something I really dislike about these Fords is that they aped the Aston Martin grill. It's a cheap move - especially as Ford used to own Aston.
I wish us here in the USA were still getting Ford cars. All we get is the mustang which is great, but everything else is an SUV or truck. Total bullocks. So I left Ford for quitting cars and bought a Saab. I love my 95 and it’s fast.
Now that would be silly. Dyno is used to verify gains and stress the car to confirm the modifications are able to support the increased power consistently. It's been dynoed anywhere from 331bhp on a Dastek in braked mode, to 345bhp on a Maha, also heavily loaded, not a quick 10 second pull. I have done more dyno work than any other independent tuner and have a huge amount of data to back that up, so if there is anything you need to know, drop me a message some time.
In this particular circumstance what I meant was the car should make 330hp consistently, it's not one of those setups where you only get good numbers on the first run and then it heat soaks and falls apart
