So glad to see this video. Seen all your others & ironically (currently on v1 Peron 270whp) I can't decide on s280/x57/vt330r so this video which I'll watch in full tomorrow may solve my dilemma & help make my mind up! Had a spin in a local guys vt330r today which was impressive but somehow got a feeling the s280 may be the king 🤴😁
I somewhat have a good memory but I made it a habit that when I work on my car I put them on off brand ziplock bags from a dollar store and mark the bags where I removed the bolts and screws
My fiesta was funny starting when the battery was low, the starter gave it a go but couldn't do it, then I just held the ignition on and it just managed to fire
Done a couple of these 1.6/1.5 ecoboost turbo's the only thing that can leak is the coolant banjo bolt. Once you get them up to temperature the coolant banjo bolt tightens up a bit more.
Great job there! I want to fit a bigger turbo to one of my cars along with bigger injectors, intercooler and what have you but having gotten around to it just yet since i know it will need a clutch so I’ll find a better one if I can and do the modifications after fitting it. Should see about 90/100bhp gain after the mods and map🤷♂️. Good to see yours going and when you drive it what difference it’s made!
