Seen all your others & ironically (currently on v1 Peron 270whp) I can't decide on s280/x57/vt330r so this video which I'll watch in full tomorrow may solve my dilemma & help make my mind up! if I am honest, I would rather a hybrid turbo setup. I really don't like the why the divert valve fits, and over heating problems on the other sensor is never a good thing. Will be interesting to see what it like to drive on track, should be plenty fun.

Hybrid turbos create alot more heat

    • @H-SportPerformance

The overheating on the boost solenoid is more of a theory we have. There is nothing that suggests that the s280 would make the boost solenoid itself hotter than any other hybrid turbo, but the heat tape from our tests appears to have worked. The turbo itself will run a lot cooler than any other hybrid...

Depends on your budget whether you buy a category one or not. If you can afford it get a clean one. Thanks.

Steve, at 10:27 the pipe clip is on wrong side of bulge..................have a look before you go out in the car.

Yeah don't worry about that. The bulge is from the factory pipework. It's left a permanent bulge but it's not really where the new bulge is if that makes sense. Good spot though.
