Best explanation of knee pain ever I have subscribed thanks
Awesome, thank you!
*That* was what it was?! How many years as a kid did I spend periodically telling parents and doctors that my knee had gotten stuck and I couldn't straighten it? And nobody understood or diagnosed, just threw up their hands in puzzlement. Good to know what may have happened in that accident, so thank you, but now I question the competence of my doctors. 😠
😬
This happened to my husband throughout his teen years and as an adult. He would kick his leg really hard to get it to straighten. When he was about 26 he kicked it so hard he tore the tendon and had a cast on for several weeks. Eventually he ended up having several surgeries on his knee. He ended up walking with a limp for the rest of his life.
@@Carol-kj5eh Ouch! I'm so sorry to hear that that happened to your husband! My go-to remedy always involved deep knee bends until it got unstuck. Does it still hurt him, or is he now pain-free despite the limp?
@@k.jespersen6145 The surgeries he had on his knee helped. They went in and cleaned up the cartilage. It didn’t really hurt anymore.
Same here. Docs don't study no more. Just in it for the money / worsen your case. I'm amazed such reputable doctors didn't know something so basic..
This was super helpful; thanks for sharing!
You're welcome Jacob!🙌
BEST VIDEO OUT OF SO MANY I WATCHED TODAY!!! This is extremely helpful to pinpoint whats what!

This is great information! I’m having knee issues right now and this really helps me understand the pain!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for this video and it’s insights into knee pain. I have pain in my knees….😬😬 this helps me understand it better.
Glad to help!
Thank you, I knew my problem was right in the middle under the knee cap, but not sure what it's called, and all these rehab knee videos I've found just weren't helping. Now i know it's called runner's knee and i can be very specific which type of knee exercises to do.
Here you go...

Thankyou for the noisy knee video,my two make the most horrendous crunching noise, they even frightened the physiotherapist at the time when he was assessing me.They oly start if I try to do squats or lunges,so I don’t do them.Your video has reassured me.
No worries Karen! 👍
Mine is IT Band! Yay 🎉😂. I'm not really celebrating, but it's good to know for sure.
Great video!
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
How can I treat osteoarthritis?
Now I can proceed forward in searching correctly for answers on how to eliminate the pain. Than you!
❤😊
You're welcome 😊
What about knee pain from sciatica?
I’m 16 and I’m pretty sure I’m dealing with fat pad syndrome in my left knee which sucks because i love basketball and wanna dunk but it hurts so much everyday to train with my knee in pain
😬
Look into ATG and the KneeOverToes guy. I've heard great things and plan on going into it when I'm done healing.
Especially useful for people with your goal, both for progress and rehab.
How about pain under the knee cap with swelling clicking grinding ?
"Squatting"...🤣🤣🤣 You've gotta be kidding...
Great video
Ta!
I have an inner knee pain, and it hurts when I extend it and when i press with my fingers in the area I feel it, it hurts 😭 please help me
Are u ok now??
I have the same issue 😕
@@gitashaw462 it still comes and go but not painful like the first time, just don't fiddle with it, if you can go to a specialist go already for your health and well being, but I just let mine and disappeared, mine just comes when I'm overworked with my work outs, because I'm an aspiring powerlifter, so squatting can't be avoided, but my knees felt better when I started using knee sleeves, also avoid knee intensive exercises like leg extensions
I have a similar condition. I am flat-footed which caused me shin splints, stress fracture, and compartment syndrome. I went to multiple doctors, but found out that I have injuries all throughout my lower body, arms, and shoulder after lifting heavy objects at school.
I am undergoing rest and low impact exercises. The doctor said it might take months or years to fully recover. But patience and consistency is the key.
i got a meniscus tear on my right knee, but it’s the lateral meniscus so it’s on the right side of my knee and but i feel pain towards my MCl or medial meniscus, not sure if it’s one of those cause pain but it’s not bad pain though, any thoughts on what it may be???
I can’t fully bend my knee or there’s pain. How can I fix that?
Thanks
All have knee problem
Continue please
I will. Cheers!
How to treat meniscus tear at home?
Thanks you sooooo much dear
Most welcome 😊
Thanks Dear
You’re welcome 😊
Still can't straighten left knee without pain in extensor muscles to do a basic leg extension after dislocating it at work for Amazon delivery driving. I can stand on my knee finally without flare-ups in general but I can still feel weakness and on rare occasion it buckles and I slightly feel like the knee slightly slips out then back in. This is especially the case when descending stairs and very rarely going up them. I was told that they were surprised my workman's comp insurance would cover the surgery until it got cancelled last second and I've been stuck trying to rehab myself without insurance. I feel like I'm making progress and everything points to carefully doing machine exercises and assisted exercises for the next year and I should recover. If anyone has tips on how they did it I'm all ears. I'm fighting for my life as my previous company was petty in secretly recording my conversations due to a law loop hole where only 1 needs aware of it happening and blackmailed me right before the surgery so I would end up paying for it and still work at a job where I couldn't pay for it. Crazy work but I'm in a better position now working from home thankfully.
i have almost all of these symptoms 😅…
😬
Same here 😢😢😢
Me too. I’m in my mud-60’s and have been paying for what I did when I was young, dumb and thought I was invincible. Live and learn. Sheesh!
Sounds like I have most of them in my left knee! How fun for me 🙁
🙌
When I do squats my knee pains too much but while walking and running and bending it doesn't
Can you tell what happening??
Same for me. When I do squat with just 15 kg wait also, I feel pain in my inner knee, which should be inner meniscus tear. I am afraid, how to treat it. My passion is to do power lifting
I have the osgood-Schlatter disease do you know how I can get rid of the pain, so then I can play sports and football
What would it be if the knee locked up with the pain on the outer knee?
I was hoping someone would ask this question. I have the same recurring problem and the doctors can't explain what it is or know how to fix the problem. They always say take some anti-inflammatory pills like that's going to help
great video! never heard of pes asnerinus syndrome but I think i have it
I get a popliteus muscle strain , especially after playing tennis , how can I treat it ? Tks .
what must I do with popilitus strain in back knee ..I think I have that...its stiff and thicker ..but not really pain ..I can not bent well
Thanks ✌🏼
No problem 👍
What is the difference between the It band and the osteoarthritis area ?? I have pain on my right knee on the right side meaning lateral but in the video both these symptoms are in the same area to me
Osgood Slaugers
I recognize this from my brother, who was diagnosed with this in high school. He broke many records in track only to come to an abrupt halt. The pronunciation I know it by is exactly how they have it here 'Osgood Schlãtter', I don't think I've ever seen it written down nor have I heard of anyone else with it in over 40 yrs, lol.😂
You missed Lower lateral external knee pain - a type of tenodnitis
How about electrical zapping nerve pain on the outer knee that takes your breath away?
I have some weird issue in my inner knee. It feels like the knee kind of "burns" sometimes. Even the skin feels "numb" if I try to press or scratch it. Weird... This started after I started going to walks and gym after a loooong break
I think I have a meniscus tear because it lasts so long the pain and stiffness and straighten is so pain walking, and getting out of bed . talking pain killers and resting it now for about nearly a month now
An MRI can help confirm it
@@BodyFixExercisesi think i may have too i was walking n suddenly my right knee bent back on my leg the wrong way n every since the back of my knee been hurting real bad n my leg feel loose like it’s gonna bend back again when i walk on it
I can't do squats it hurts
What should I do?
Go to your Doctor to refer you to a Physiatrist.
What can I do for my knee to HEAL ?
Can it be a bakers cyst if there’s no lump?
Could you please upload a video that tells how to fix these by exercises? Or stretches?

All the above
You didn't mention the saphenous nerve pain.
Thank you for the video but how can I repair this ? I was operated and since then can’t bend my knee fully and it hurts so front/back
This scares me more, even after the operation it did not help you that what's the use of getting operated?
So if you have runners knee, how do you fix it? I bought a stair stepper and I’ve been using it for a week and my knee pain seems to be getting worse but I don’t know if it’s cause it’s new exercise and I need to strengthen the muscle around the kneecap.
I have a video on how to fix it

Oh my, everytime I do long runs, I always end up having outer knee pain. Anyone knows how to fix this?
Usually means the ITB is rubbing. Try the outer thigh rub in this video... ua-cam.com/video/g0qmx_0enAA/v-deo.html
Popliteus....Ive been dealing with so much discomfort there after racing a 400 and then a couple higher intensity lower body workouts and never knew the name. Treatment is RICE for 6 weeks...jeez I don't have that time considering my day to day...looks like nsaid and taking it easier is the best I can do
All of the above
