I'm trying this since yesterday! I have pain when walking up and down stairs especially (right knee) right above my kneecap on the inside and I've tried so many things but it just won't go away... Very sharp pain. Been to physical therapists but they just gave me exercises that don't help. Thoughts?

A million thank you's Dr Rowe. I can't believe how much better my knee feels already with just one session. I'm a woman approaching 60, and work at a boat plant climbing on top of boats everyday applying putty and rolling out fiberglass and resin. WOW!!! I suffered a fall a little over a year ago and have had daily, constant knee pain ever since. I was told that the fall triggered arthritis in the knee and that basically nothing could really be done, I was getting older, I would have to live with it, blah, blah blah!!! This from an orthopedic specialist and my family doc, (though the family doc was better than the specialist and thought he was wrong and there must be something that could be done to alleviate the pain at least ). Anyway.... after doing what you recommended for scraping the leg for adhesions, I feel fully 75% less pain.... after doing it only once!!! You are AMAZING!!! I will keep doing this and try the stretches you included, as well. I am so grateful to you!!! I want my money back from those doctors who did NOT do their job, geez!!! Due to a torn meniscus, my knee locks up at unexpected times. It locked up while I was sleeping last night, turning my night into a nightmare. I've been trying to unlock my knee and walk again for a day now. As a last resort, I searched through videos. I applied the first massage shown with the pain-relief gel my doctor prescribed, and my knee opened up by 90%, instantly relieving the pain. Despite being completely swollen at the moment, I managed to avoid putting weight on it. I really appreciate it because I thought I couldn't do anything other than leaving it to its own, as no doctor suggested anything other than surgery. At least, I could do this to salvage the day.

Thank you so very much for helping me relieve pain that was literally bringing me to my knees. I went to the ER yesterday and had xrays and a sonogram done. They did not find anything wrong but the sharp pain inside my knee was excruciating and debilitating. I am grateful for the clear demonstration you provided.
Another thing that works well for pain relief in the knees is doing two things: 1. Eat cabbage daily (fried or in coleslaw) it acts as an anti-inflammatory 2. Rub a small amount of castor oil mixed with menthol pain relief (deep heat, moov, wintergreen, patches or similar) on the knees before sleeping. The castor oil works wonders!
You’re spot on. I’m an acupuncturist, and half my chronic pain cases could reduce their pain by 50% or more, by daily castor oil applications. That’s actually true.
Castor is pretty miraculous- I’m using it on a neck tumor, it’s shrunken by a couple of centimeters over the last few months- it breaks up solids, works through bone, amazing.

Wow Dr Rowe, I want to tell you Thank You A Million x's 3...!!!! My knees have been in pain for a total of 8 months and I have been limited with things I normally do. I even went to the leg doctor and they immediately suggested shots. 😮.. I got the shots one time and never went back. I started using ice packs and heat pads. And it helped a little but this video just came across my phone and I just tried the exercise and my knees feel so much better already. I will continue this exercise throughout this week🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤

OMG YOU F**KING ROCK DUDE!! I have been suffering for a month with sharp stabbing pains from arthritis and bone spurs for the past month. NAG may help and no gluten. Bone spurs...EDTA may help. Gluten is in wheat/barley/rye...oats/corn/rice. Rice is low in gluten. Wild rice has no gluten. Gluten may cause the knees to swell. Hidden gluten may hurt. LDN may help.

About three months ago I injured my knee. I was at school and I was knelled down to get my money and when I got up I didn't hold on to anything. Then my knee just made a crack sound. I went to the hospital to get a test and they told me that I had Chondromalacia patellae (my tissue under my knee cap was soft) It was so painful to walk or do anything. It felt like my knee was broken. Then I got physical therapy where they gave me only electric treatment. I felt better but there was still pain in my knee. Then they told me that I had to do exercises. I am doing it for about a month and I am improving I guess. Time to time there is pain on my knee and sometimes it makes a crack sound whenever I move. I came upon this video just now. I am gonna add this to my exercises and see what happens. Thank you for this video I hope it helps me!! 🙏🙏

Wow it worked. Been doing deliveries for a couple years now to make some extra money. Started noticing that the knee of the leg I plant on to get into and out of my car was becoming painful. Started doing the exercises and within a few minutes the pain all but disappeared. Thanks for the insight.

Hello Dr. I will try this exercise on my left knee as it is tight. I am recuperating from right hip replacement surgery. I do hope I get relief. Will let you know.
Dr Rowe, my knee pain is probably the medial meniscus on my left knee, it's that area. It's been 6 weeks now, and the one movement that causes the most pain is if I stepped forward with my left leg first. So instead of doing this, I only ever step forward with my right leg, then just bring my left foot level with my right. This is a struggle, which means I use park benches a lot for a 5 minute resting of the knee. I do take a crutch with me just in case I feel pain enough to take the weight off of my left knee. Please do you have any tips for my situation.

Just found this video today. Love the easy to understand methods you present. Question: What could be causing the pain/ inflamation that causes heavy pain as soon as I bend my knee past 90 degrees? At first I thought Baker‘s Cyst, went to my sport doctor and he said it didn‘t really look that bad checking with ultrasonic, but talked me into a cortison injection - which did not help 😬 Been having this pain the last 4 weeks, gets worse when I stand or sit for long periods. And yes, I‘ve been diagnosed with damaged cartilage under my knee cap. Strange thing is, I didn‘t have an injury or anything, just started one day. I’ll be trying these exercises. Would you also recomend red light therapy or EES possibly? The pain starts on the back of the knee and radiates to the outside and then to the front, right to the middle of the knee-cap. Thanks for any advice . . . I‘m terrible taking pharma products, would rather not.
Huh i started getting a very similar pain around the same time, crouching or kneeling hurts now and my knees were completely fine until one day i woke up with it. Have you found anything that worked yet?
@@ruthwahu5026 I still have pain when squatting or kneeling, however it is much less than it used to be I can now get out of the squat position without needing to pull myself up holding onto something, I go to physical therapy in a few days for the first time. What I have been doing is stretching every muscle in my feet, ankles, legs, and hips, it has helped a lot, it does take 10 minutes or so at night before bed but it's worth it.
This is just what I needed! The muscle scraping - My hand specialist uses this ISTM to treat my carpal tunnel hands. I wish I thought of this! It immediately addressed the pain and the exercises helped confirm what kind of exercises I needed. I'm walking more comfortable now and hugged my knee without any pain. I had been trying to just stretch my hamstrings and doing sit-to-stand (non-challenging box squats) now and then. This knee issue seemed to come out of nowhere last weekend when I was barely able to walk down the stairs comfortably and now I'm only trusting one leg to step up when walk back up the stairs. This is not me! But the intensive work hours at my desk and all-nighters my work causes- is also me. Sometimes I cross my legs under me and I am in such a zone that I don't realize how long I have been in a position or changed to standing at my desk. All that to say, I am glad I found this video because I am determined to recover my hands and lower body. I love my work yet, it's hard to fit in health time I used to have. I think my employers figure if you don' t have kids, they give me the last minute information before immovable delivery date since without kids, they figure I can handle working into my personal time. I mean, what's a girl to do? Try and live or something?
This worked really well! I am going to repeat this if necessary! I used a magnetic knee brace on my other knee after the ice storm here. The magnets help with circulation too. This was quick relief!
Gotta be honest, I was super skeptical. I have had horrible lateral knee pain after playing soccer a few times. But the spoon worked! It was such a glorious release of pain. Thank you! (btw, we vacation in St. Jo's MI every year, beautiful place!)

I am extremely grateful! Seriously. I started jogging, training for my marathon. Not sure what happened, half way through my routine jog, I suffered severe pain right beneath my knee cap. I had to walk all the way back and the pain increases over night to the point that walking in my apartment is extremely difficult. Nothing works, I took pain meds, applied over the counter cream. I am so lucky to found your video and I started these exercises, it hurts so much but I can feel slight improvement. I will keep doing it and thank you so much. Sincerely

It's amazing! I swear it is! I woke up recently with a severe pain in my knee [ the outer side ]. I had to get crutches to move about my home, I came across your show and decided to give the spoon remedy a try. Honestly, I thought it was silly but guess what? The darn thing worked! Try 2000-4000 iu of Milk Thistle. It reduces swelling in body.

I’ve suffered knee pain for an year after being damaged by a traditional muscle massage worker. After the knee surgery to remove the plica to fix the severe clicking syndrome, i still have constant knee inflammation.
I tried the spoon technique and the pain has been immediately relief!! Thank you for the sharing! I will definitely try the other things that you recommend!

So thank you for your channel, Dr. Michael. R You are so amazing and very helpful with my problem left knee! My Dr. gave me Prednisone 20MG for 15 days but the medic has not completed helping my knee pain and swelling still come back and are more unbearable!
I found your channel and practiced right away with the first step spoon massage oilment my knee has no pain and the swelling has gone away in exactly 40 seconds, I finished the next step practice, and it those gone almost 90%! I will continue to practice and see how the results come!

Is it ok to do this exercise if I also have some swelling on the 'outer' area of my kneecap? Will it help break down the fluid causing the swelling? It's minimal, but uncomfortable.

About three months ago I injured my knee. I was at school and I was knelled down to get my money and when I got up I didn't hold on to anything. Then my knee just made a crack sound. I went to the hospital to get a test and they told me that I had Chondromalacia patellae (my tissue under my knee cap was soft) It was so painful to walk or do anything. It felt like my knee was broken. Then I got physical therapy where they gave me only electric treatment. I felt better but there was still pain in my knee. Then they told me that I had to do exercises. I am doing it for about a month and I am improving I guess. Time to time there is pain on my knee and sometimes it makes a crack sound whenever I move. I came upon this video just now. I am gonna add this to my exercises and see what happens. Thank you for this video I hope it helps me!! 🙏🙏

This helped a whole lot. I had a bad knee cap break 6 months ago, I know this pain is caused by the healing process but now that I have the spoon therapy it isn't so painful and I can exercise more. Thank you so very very much!

Wow it worked. Been doing deliveries for a couple years now to make some extra money. Started noticing that the knee of the leg I plant on to get into and out of my car was becoming painful. Started doing the exercises and within a few minutes the pain all but disappeared. Thanks for the insight.

Dr Rowe, my knee pain is probably the medial meniscus on my left knee, it's that area. It's been 6 weeks now, and the one movement that causes the most pain is if I stepped forward with my left leg first. So instead of doing this, I only ever step forward with my right leg, then just bring my left foot level with my right. This is a struggle, which means I use park benches a lot for a 5 minute resting of the knee. I do take a crutch with me just in case I feel pain enough to take the weight off of my left knee. Please do you have any tips for my situation.

Question: What could be causing the pain/ inflamation that causes heavy pain as soon as I bend my knee past 90 degrees? At first I thought Baker‘s Cyst, went to my sport doctor and he said it didn‘t really look that bad checking with ultrasonic, but talked me into a cortison injection - which did not help 😬 Been having this pain the last 4 weeks, gets worse when I stand or sit for long periods. And yes, I‘ve been diagnosed with damaged cartilage under my knee cap. Strange thing is, I didn‘t have an injury or anything, just started one day. I’ll be trying these exercises. Would you also recomend red light therapy or EES possibly? The pain starts on the back of the knee and radiates to the outside and then to the front, right to the middle of the knee-cap. Thanks for any advice . . . I‘m terrible taking pharma products, would rather not.
Huh i started getting a very similar pain around the same time, crouching or kneeling hurts now and my knees were completely fine until one day i woke up with it. Have you found anything that worked yet?

@@ruthwahu5026 I still have pain when squatting or kneeling, however it is much less than it used to be I can now get out of the squat position without needing to pull myself up holding onto something, I go to physical therapy in a few days for the first time.
What I have been doing is stretching every muscle in my feet, ankles, legs, and hips, it has helped a lot, it does take 10 minutes or so at night before bed but it's worth it.

This is just what I needed! The muscle scraping - My hand specialist uses this ISTM to treat my carpal tunnel hands. I wish I thought of this! It immediately addressed the pain and the exercises helped confirm what kind of exercises I needed. I'm walking more comfortable now and hugged my knee without any pain. I had been trying to just stretch my hamstrings and doing sit-to-stand (non-challenging box squats) now and then. This knee issue seemed to come out of nowhere last weekend when I was barely able to walk down the stairs comfortably and now I'm only trusting one leg to step up when walk back up the stairs. This is not me! But the intensive work hours at my desk and all-nighters my work causes- is also me. Sometimes I cross my legs under me and I am in such a zone that I don't realize how long I have been in a position or changed to standing at my desk. All that to say, I am glad I found this video because I am determined to recover my hands and lower body. I love my work yet, it's hard to fit in health time I used to have. I think my employers figure if you don' t have kids, they give me the last minute information before immovable delivery date since without kids, they figure I can handle working into my personal time. I mean, what's a girl to do? Try and live or something?

This worked really well! I am going to repeat this if necessary! I used a magnetic knee brace on my other knee after the ice storm here. The magnets help with circulation too. This was quick relief!

I am extremely grateful! Seriously. I started jogging, training for my marathon. Not sure what happened, half way through my routine jog, I suffered severe pain right beneath my knee cap. I had to walk all the way back and the pain increases over night to the point that walking in my apartment is extremely difficult. Nothing works, I took pain meds, applied over the counter cream. I am so lucky to found your video and I started these exercises, it hurts so much but I can feel slight improvement. I will keep doing it and thank you so much. Sincerely

It's amazing! I swear it is! I woke up recently with a severe pain in my knee [ the outer side ]. I had to get crutches to move about my home, I came across your show and decided to give the spoon remedy a try. Honestly, I thought it was silly but guess what? The darn thing worked! The pain went away and I did not need the crutches by the next morning. Thanks Dr. Rowe! Now, how do I get my money back for the crutches, Biofreeze roll on, pain ointment, knee bandage and Tylenol [ LOL ] !!! Amazing ! PS: The exercises helped bring the swelling down as well.
