She totally deservered that Emmy, Izzie was an awesome characther and her scenes with Denny were just plain awesome. I love Sandra as well, but Katherine nailed those dramatic scenes. I cried so much watching them.

If she had kept her mouth shut and allowed the production to handle the matter in house, Isiah might not have had to lose his job. I work in the business, I know about a dozen people that worked on Greys at that time. Katherine fucked Isiah over and TR did not try to help matters.

Luc Van kasteel apparently patrick had an affair with an intern on the set & ellen told his wife since they were close friends. a lot of people had problems with him in set to the point where it became hard to work with him. they said that off camera he was anything but dreamy & also he didn’t want to stay on the show. so don’t just blame shonda.

She actually deserved this Emmy that year because her character actually did evolve and had great storyline in that season.... I do agree that her storyline in the 4th season was not sufficient enough for an Emmy nod and I can see why she turned it down... maybe she could've voiced her opinion in the a different more respectful way but what she said about her character in 2008 was the truth. Either way she's a great and wonderful actress and I hope she climbs her way back up to A-List status soon.

Sandra Oh deserved the Emmy that year! The episode she was nominated for... it's some of the best acting I've ever seen. The 3rd season was the best season... after that the show went downhill. Heigl was right... and Shonda was an idiot for getting rid of her and T.R. Knight.
I think Katherine deserved the emmy in s2 with the whole denny storyline it was when she really showcased her acting although Sandra Oh is a much better actress and it baffles me she has never won one.

Sandra Oh would have won if this nomination had occurred in the later seasons. At first I personally didn't like Sandra Oh at all as an actress but now I love her so much! She's an outstanding actress!
