Perfect fluffy and moist Puto ( Puto Cheese)
4 cups rice flour (not glutinous rice flour)
2 cups water or substitute
with 1 cup evaporated milk
and 1 cup of water
1 (13.5 ounces) can coconut milk
1-1/2 cups sugar
½ teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons baking powder

I tried making puto from rice flour before pero medyo tumitigas kapag lumamig. I discovered that the secret is the overnight soàking of rice flour. I tried your recipe today and it was a success. Masarap ang end product. Thank you from Pinay in Canada.
Wow !! Maraming salamat sis sa recipe mo . Ginawa ko ito kanina . Binabad ko ang rice flour overnight with 1cup milk 1 cup water at 250ml na coconut milk.

Ginawa ko na itong recipe. Binabad ang mixture overnight..the next morning steam ko na.yung sa akin after 12mins basa pa ang gitna it took me 20mins to steamed the puto. Soft and fluffy sya. Medyo crumbly lang sya pag kinakain na. Over all masarap sya.👍
Make sure na kulong kulo ang tubig sis bago isalang. Tapos depende din sa moulder pag medyo malaki it needs additional time to cook.

i tried this puto. it was very good! i put kraft cheese on top. the best! i used 1 cup evaporated milk and 1 cup water. for sugar i lessened with 1 tbsp. for 1 can coconut milk i lessened with 3 tbsps but i added 3 tbsps. regular milk. thank you very much for sharing this recipe.

Hi Ruby ayoko mag advice sa rice flour dahil yong rice na ginawa ko d umalsa at naitapon ko lang pero ang ginamit ko na wheat flour perfect kasing parehu sa vedio.Yong wheat flour na gamit ko pino pino at soft cya na klasing flour. D ako sure sa all porpose flour dko pa na try gamitin try mo lang at baka maging katulad sa vedio.

Ang galing so na perfect sya sis yung iba kasi hindi perfect ang kinalabasan iwan ko kung bakit kasi lahat talaga na ginawa andito sa video walang hidden secret lahat ng mga videos ko. Cguro naiba yung texture iba cguro ang nagamit ingredients or yung measuring cup na ginamit d ko talaga alam. Hi,am making this right now..I didn’t have the patience to wait overnight..instead I followed the first ingredients before you said “overnight”...I just let it sit and did my chores hahaha..then I added the rest of the ingredients and since I don’t have a big steamer,and I just used my big round baking pan for cakes,I just used my big pan and put my round metal rock and put the round baking pan on top of the rock and covered it with a lid that has cloth on it...am not sure if this will gonna work perfectly but hoping for the best,thank you!!!

Hello po.. I made it today for the 2nd time but its still grainy just like the first try. I soaked it for 5 hrs.. Also yung top po nya mejo malabsa..sa rice cooker ko po sya ni luto.. Pero yung lasa po nya ay masarap po tlaga
