PUTONG BIGAS / STEAM RICE CAKE
Today I am going to make a Putong Bigas or rice cake, it is simple and easy to make. This is perfect for breakfast or snacks. It is delicious especially if there is a hot drink. Hope you enjoyed my very simple dish. Simple but delicious. So try that for your loved one.#KrizanniKitchen
📌I apologize that I made a mistake in putting the water measure 2 cups the correct size and not 1 cup. If you want a tastier puto you can use coconut milk, coconut cream or milk. The rice flour used in puto is different in texture, it is porous if you want something softer you put 1 1/2 cups rice flour and 1/2 Cup glutinous rice flour.
Ingredients
2 cups rice flour
1 Cup sugar
1 tbsp Baking Powder
2 Cup water (or coconut milk, coconut cream and milk)
