EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! I just didn’t know how to phrase my search 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
SHORT CONCISE AND TO THE POINT! Keep It Up Man!🙌
Crisp video bro. Keeping it short and on point. Learned something!
Thanks! My aim is to keep things strictly to the point without any fluff.
DUDE. that was the most informative 1 minute blender video I've seen and haven't been confused about
hahaha, thanks :D I hope you like my other tutorials as well :D
amazing video man thank u so much
Your videos are brilliant. Short and sweet and informative and priceless.
Thanks! I'm aiming exactly for that! personally i can't stand watching a 20min tutorial on something that is done in 10 clicks ...
@@blenderisms Subscribed. You are my man :)
Master depth of field in 58 seconds? I watched this video thinking "how could I master this in 58 seconds only? I'm sure I won't learn anything new. I'll watch this because it's only 58 seconds long to feel that I was right". But then I was wrong haha
hahahaha :D lucky for me, Depth of feel isn't such a "deep" topic :D I'm glad you learned something.
I see what you did there x) @@blenderisms
Hey,
If you want to equate the depth map from 0 to 1, use normalize instead of map range
yeah, that's actually a pretty good tip. I'm just really used to remapping with the range node that I often forget there are easier ways :D
I like: Depth of field.Blender 3.6.0 Alpha - seems to be better, when it comes to cycles.
i haven't had the time to play with the alpha/prerelease versions yet but will check it out when i can!
Amazing tutorial! I can't seem to get Depth of field working in either EEVEE or Cycles for some reason so running it through the Compositor works perfectly for me. Thank you
Glad it helped! What happens when you try to ray trace it? maybe we can trouble shoot it :D
@@blenderisms yeah, so I am working on a project in the current LTS of Blender 3.6.4. I am working on an older 2019 Intel MacBook Pro with a GPU (AMD 550M) and there are several scenes in this file that I am working on. however I have tried this in a much lighter scene with just a few cubes and I am getting the same Issue. so the Issue starts when in the camera properties panel I select Depth of field and the view port is set to anything other then Solid view or Wire frame, the whole blender window just freezes and it just locks up. its not processing anything that is showing up in the Activity monitor, it just stops blender in its tracks. I have tried this with Cycles and EEVEE both with the same result.
@@DrFizzyQuizzler damn, sounds really annoying. I've never really had that issue, but i've never really used Macs either. could be some AMD gpu problem.
@@blenderisms yeah, that's the problem. not a lot of Devs are not working on the older Intel Macs any more. most of the focus is on the newer M Series chips and their Graphics pipeline. but for night now and the project that I'm working on. your compositor trick will work perfectly for me. thank you again. maybe I'll go through the process of sending in a bug report on this and see if anything comes from that.
DAMN WHAT A HACK!
Wow, been dying to figure out why my particles weren't blurry, great tutorial
How were you able to show what changes were being made in the render tab in real time, and with the specific values like the color ramp?
well, I'm showing the compositing using a Image editor on the left panel where I have loaded the Render result instead of having a viewport set to rendering.
Thanks
Amazing!!!
My objects r still blurry when I go to render the image. What should I do I do?
disable the Depth of field from the camera settings if you want to do it in the compositor
nice
I'm having trouble viewing the rendered view in EVEE like you do, my rendered view in EVEE looks like material preview, any solutions
I'm not using EEVEE, It's Cycles.
@@blenderisms aaa ok, I thought that the fading effect of the scene is doe to using evee
I love it
Thanks man!
hey whats the song used in this video
