That 28"+ Walleye converts to over 9 lbs. Probably 9.5 lbs. (in-fisherman conversion chart)! Thank you for doing this. I understand the work that goes into recording this material. Subscribed! 👍👍👍👍
Great video as always, enjoy and learned as usual. Know I sound like a broken record but I greatly appreciate your sharing of your knowledge experience and passion. You are very good at explaining how to do what is working. Looking forward to trying a wing dam for the first time ever, on my own with what I learned from your videos. TIGHT LINES
Thanks Dana! I've got some more footage that I'll be doing a video on but this was a pretty good outing. Hard to beat the weather on this trip and the bite wasn't bad either!
Thanks! The bite was definitely on for a a couple of weeks. I haven't been out for awhile since I've been bowhunting but hopefully I'll get some more open water fishing in this year.
Great videos! New subscriber here as soon as I found you. I hope to fish these pools next year. Any additional info on how to safely navigate the river, sloughs, launches and wing dams would sure make a great video for those of us new to the Mississippi. Love your work!
I'm glad that you are learning from my videos! The water will be much cooler than what is was in this video but the bite should be on. Good luck out there!
Great walleye !!! Been using shimano fast cast for years !! Caught a 28 1/2" walleye at Lake Erie on a erie (deery?) with a nightcrawler......FISH OHIO...over 28".
Why do you feel the need to hold the fish out of water while you blabber BS for over 2min. If you're going to practice catch and release the object is to release the fish with minimal trauma so they can reproduce. Not starve them of oxygen for longer than necessary. Plus to make it worse you pasted in the video clips of the fish which means you had them out of the water for even longer than the 2 minutes I pointed out.
Nice vid, peaceful music and vibes, beautiful scenery, and great HD quality!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊

Keep trying different dams until you find a good one. They don't all hold fish.

I like that for a video idea. I’ll try to put some river navigating tips in future videos. Thanks for the subscription!
Great video man!

Good luck! I have never fished the Rock River but it should be a good time to get out.
Love the videos. Do you by chance do radio commercials?
I have not done any radio commercial.
Long sit in the tree stand this is just what I needed
Awesome! Good luck hunting this year!
Fished some wing dams this week. Found the white bass and smallest as well. Couldnt find the walleye.
The smallmouth have been on fire and the walleye have been stingy. Keep after them!
So many people put their boats away too early. It's the time of plenty for the smart one's still out there.
Fall is my favorite time of the year to be on the water! Thanks for commenting!
Cool vid !!!!
Your reel looks like a shimano syncopate ?
Great walleye !!!

Thanks for the reminder to take better care of the fish! You make a great point.
