Hey, so umm I’m quite nervous tho as I’m starting my business on Etsy in just about a week. I made all the preparations but I still got some doubts so it would be really helpful if u answer them🥺 firstly: I’m from India so if I send through mailbox than how am I gonna pass the tracking system on Etsy like is it okay if we delivered the product from our mode of transportation choice instead of theirs? Will I still receive the money? Secondly: I’m gonna start the business of my small artworks and stuffs so if I send them through mailbox then I would’ve to give money I guess So that it could reach them? Thirdly: I’m so broke to invest so much into the vintage look of packing(I’m just 17 tho) so is it necessary to list on Etsy by paying and to pack into that particular bubble mailer? Can’t I use any different envelops of different sizes? I real am in need of answer to these questions so that I could run my small business atleast start it up, help me please!!!!!!❤
Hey! Great to hear you’re starting your business ❤️ 1: you do not need tracking numbers in order to send your items. I don’t use tracking and never have issues. 2: I don’t understand this question can you please reframe it? 3: I’m also not sure what your question is here if you can please reword it for me! Thank you ❤️ talk soon!
Okay so my questions were: if I am sending my products through mailbox then do I have to give money to mailbox so as the product could reach the customers? And I do not have so much money to invest into my business so do I necessarily have to pay for listing on Etsy? (The product names and all listings) And also can I use different sized envelopes or just bubble mailer?
loved this! im starting my business on etsy selling jewelry and dreamcatchers, etc .. im ondering tho about larger items. isnt there a weight and size limit to what we as the sender are mailing out.? plz get back to me
Hi!! Yes sometimes there is a weight limit but if there is an issue they send it back to the return address. I have only had this happen a handful of times in the past few years - sometimes you just get a strict post office worker lol you usually just have to pay an additional 5 cents for another stamp or something if it’s sent back! Also, if you bring it to the post office desk and they weigh it beforehand they can tell you what additional stamps you might need for overweight items. That method is more time consuming though and not necessary (since it rarely happens that items are returned to me) but if you’re nervous about something being too heavy you can bring it to the desk for weighing or purchase a small scale off Amazon! I hope this helped ❤️❤️❤️
Etsy can be easier for a website because you do not have the build the website itself it’s already done for you! It might be small enough depending on the bottles you use, it’s worth a shot!
I want to ship a few pair of earrings. Selling them for $2 a pair. But cost $4 to $5 just for shipping. I could give them an option Free with out tracking.
Hi i live in toronto and am about to start selling jewelry, my packaging is similar to yours so I was wondering which stamps do you use to ship your packages? I am a bit confused with canada post pricing online like most people probably are, I can not figure out if my package is a small envelope size or oversized because of the thickness of the package. It seems like your package might be a little thicker because the resin is thicker than my jewelry.Sorry for the long explanation.
Hey! Hopefully I understood your question but I just use regular stamps and Ive had very few issues with that ❤️ and if there are any issues they send it back to my PO BOX (sometimes I’ll owe an extra dollar or something ) but this has happened maybe 3 times out of the hundreds of orders. Sometimes you just get a super picky post office worker. But overall, regular stamps work for me ❤️
Thank you so much for this idea help me lot I am going to start my small business soon in 2022. One question where can I find the stamps for the shipping??
Oh interesting! I’m going to have to try that! My post office (small town Saskatchewan) told me it needed to be the oversized letter stamps! They are only $1.97 but if I could save a $1 even better! Thank you so much for your videos! They are very helpful!
@@ZenaDoesNails Thats interesting I've never heard of oversized stamps before! Let me know if using regular ones works for you! ❤️❤️ And thank you so much for the love ❤️❤️✨
Hi I know this is 10 months ago I really hope you see this but where do you get the bubble mailer where you put the stuff in a packaging please this would be very helpful
How did you get a PO Box please ? I’m really new to starting out and this would be good to know. I’m in the U.K. but it should be the same I’m assuming x
I live in an extremely small town (population of 800) so we all have a PO BOX automatically for the whole town!❤️ I believe you can go to your local post office and ask to open one ❤️
I believe through Canada post it’s $150 for 6 months for me but it can also vary depending on the size of your PO BOX, whether it’s business or personal, etc!
What do you mean with the code bars? Can you please explain it to me because i though you have to Buy the shipping labels to print it on esty? Thank if you answer
You don’t have to buy the Etsy shipping labels if you don’t want to! And I’m not sure what your first question is if you want to try and explain it to me again haha ❤️❤️
Why is it so expensive for the customer? It says the estimated is 18 for their shipping even if I’m selling something for $6 . I understand just using the mail slot why is it expensive? Also do you do it at the post office mail box our your own?
Would this work if I sent a ring like this? Or is that too bulky to go threw the mail slots?? I’ve been trynna find this out but I can’t find this answer anywhere 😭😭
If it’s too bulky (try it out and if it gets sent back for being too bulky you’ll know) then you can buy oversized stamps which should make it work! So I’d say try a regular stamp first and if that doesn’t work try the oversized stamps!
But isn't the shipping label from etsy also a receipt? And don't u have to include it somehow?I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but I was wondering
It isn’t a dumb question but it isn’t you have to print the receipt separately if you would like to include that into to your order, hope this helped you :)
I think that would work! Out of the hundreds of orders I've sent out around that size, only a few have been sent back to me for being oversized. (Sometimes you just get an extra-picky postal worker). Let me know if you have success in sending your items and thank you for watching my video ❤❤
I started an etsy business. Selling charms. I sell them cheap. $3 and 2.20 for shipping. Made my first sale and lost money shipping my item. Had to increase my shipping prices and that only leaves me with 1.40 profit. So ty for the info this should help. I was thinking sending them in an envelope but that just feels so tacky. So useful
Hi I’m new to this and very nervous to start selling. I have a question, do you use a tracking number? I’m asking because I’m not interested in giving out tracking numbers because I don’t know how to do that.
This is how I pack my order as well. I just want to use less pastic as possible. Thank you for your video. Last time I send small order cost me like $5

I’m in Canada! But you can definitely visit your local post office and ask about it :)
Thx for the informative video? Question: so letter mail (bubble mailer) which contain non-document /paper can be sent to international countries? I thought that only applies to domestic Canada.
Same I was wondering this too! I’ve read on a lot of forums that this works in Canada but in the Us, it’s strictly only paper so I’m confused as to how she does it w/o getting her packages lost
Thank you for being here! ❤️ I have personally never had an issue sending internationally with just an international stamp! Small items have been fine for the few years I’ve been doing it ☺️
@@Anyaokarnfjsdhser wow so interesting! I’ve only had an issue with things being lost once or twice in the few years I’ve been doing this! And never an issue with sending items ☺️
@@MegDion I sent one jewelry in bubble mailer, 5$ stamp to US. It’s received faster than the small package!
Hey! Great to hear you’re starting your business ❤️
1: you do not need tracking numbers in order to send your items.
So you can send those bubble envelopes for free by just sending it like a letter?
Yes!
loved this! im starting my business on etsy selling jewelry and dreamcatchers, etc .. im ondering tho about larger items. isnt there a weight and size limit to what we as the sender are mailing out.? plz get back to me
Iam just starting a lipgloss business and I haven’t made a website it’s a lot of work. Any tips? Do you think lipgloss would be small enough?
Etsy can be easier for a website because you do not have the build the website itself it’s already done for you! It might be small enough depending on the bottles you use, it’s worth a shot!
@@MegDion ok,thanks for the tip!
I want to ship a few pair of earrings. Selling them for $2
a pair. But cost $4 to $5 just for shipping.
I could give them an option
Free with out tracking.
Yes that sounds good :)
I have a question, I’m thinking about starting a bracelet business, so when I ship them, do I have to add a postage stamp?
Yes add a postage stamp 👍
But overall, regular stamps work for me ❤️
@@MegDion I actually meant do you use the “oversized”stamps that are worth the $1.94 or do you use a “ permanent” stamp?
Thank you so much for this idea help me lot I am going to start my small business soon in 2022. One question where can I find the stamps for the shipping??
Thank you for watching!! At your local post office! 😀❤️
Are your stamps for within Canada the oversized letter stamps or just the regular stamps? :)
Regular!
❤️❤️ And thank you so much for the love ❤️❤️✨
thank for sharing.
Thank you for watching! ❤️❤️
Can someone tell me how to set up in shipping setting so o can use my own packaging and not usps packaging? It keeps asking me for tracking number
Hi I know this is 10 months ago I really hope you see this but where do you get the bubble mailer where you put the stuff in a packaging please this would be very helpful
Hi! It's from Amazon ❤️ It's linked in the description!
Tysm!😊
No problem! Thank you for being here ❤️❤️
@@MegDion mhm of course 💕☺️
How did you get a PO Box please ? I’m really new to starting out and this would be good to know. I’m in the U.K. but it should be the same I’m assuming x
I live in an extremely small town (population of 800) so we all have a PO BOX automatically for the whole town!❤️ I believe you can go to your local post office and ask to open one ❤️
If i may ask how much do you pay for a PO Box?
I believe through Canada post it’s $150 for 6 months for me but it can also vary depending on the size of your PO BOX, whether it’s business or personal, etc!
What do you mean with the code bars? Can you please explain it to me because i though you have to Buy the shipping labels to print it on esty? Thank if you answer
You don’t have to buy the Etsy shipping labels if you don’t want to! And I’m not sure what your first question is if you want to try and explain it to me again haha ❤️❤️
do you put your po box on the corner Then put the customers address?
Yes! Customers address in the middle, yours is top left
How long would it take for them to ship the “letter” out x
The mail gets collected daily I believe!
So I’d say try a regular stamp first and if that doesn’t work try the oversized stamps!
wait i’m very confused, so this is free to ship right? the only thing i’d have to pay for is the stamps at the post office?
Yes! (Well that’s how I do it! ❤️) after the stamp it’s just about putting it in the mail slot ☺️
Do you have to ask the person who works at the post office if sending a package as a letter, if that's ok to do?
I personally don't I just put it in the mailbox at the end of my street ❤
Can I also just go to post office to do it?
Yes :)
What about tracking numbers? Etsy requires that in order to become a star seller!
I’ve never heard of this being a thing so I will look into it! Thanks!
Hi I recently just started my small business, I tried to use mail ship, but there is no tracking number, will it be a problem for my etsy shop?
It shouldn’t be no! I don’t usually have issues :)
But isn't the shipping label from etsy also a receipt? And don't u have to include it somehow?I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but I was wondering
It isn’t a dumb question but it isn’t you have to print the receipt separately if you would like to include that into to your order, hope this helped you :)
Nothing is a dumb question it’s what I’m here for!! ❤️❤️ also agree with this reply ^^
I’m planning to ship earrings this way but I’m worried it’s too thick, my largest earring being about 1/4 an inch thick.. will it still mail that way?
So useful
How did you bypass the tracking requirement? I know there's an option to not include it, but then the buyers cannot leave reviews.
It may be different in some countries but I’ve found that people have left me reviews without tracking! I’ll look into this lol
I thought with etsy you need a tracking number?
By using only a bubble mailer, has anyone ever had a problem with your items being damaged or bags bursting open or tearing?
Hi I’m new to this and very nervous to start selling. I have a question, do you use a tracking number? I’m asking because I’m not interested in giving out tracking numbers because I don’t know how to do that.
Hi! ❤️ I don’t personally use tracking numbers unless I’m sending a bigger item because I mostly just use the stamp method! Hope this helps 😁
@@MegDion thank you
I fine it fun learning how different shipping is in other countries. But this sounds so complicated to me compared to how I do it😂
How much is the stamp?
This is how I pack my order as well. I just want to use less pastic as possible. Thank you for your video. Last time I send small order cost me like $5
what are the dimensions of your pink mailers?
5x7 inches!
Can you do more of these vids
Of course! Do you have any specific questions you’d want covered in the video?
Yeah it was the necklaces do you still sell them
Never mind
It was a another video
Also when is your next video
Can i ship one in my mail box like my personal mailbox with a stamp and address? Im a kid trying to start a small business i need help 😭😭😭😭😭
Yes you can!! I’m also working on an updated shipping method video right now to answer any questions!
