Anyone know what you do in Canada? Just drop off at a Canada post I'm guessing? But what if it's closed? Are there boxes like that you can drop it off at? I've always dropped packages in store when Canada post is open so I don't know. Also I don't understand how the price for Etsy shipping labels works. Do you have to pay for the shipping and labels out of pocket? I thought the customer pays for shipping, but on your video it looks like you are being charged the 3$...??? How can I calculate this in my prices, I can't find the actual price of the shipping labels anywhere.

Hi Becca, I actually got my first Etsy order last month on June 22, I was very elated lol. I was a bit upset because my printer kept going off-line and I had to allow a postal center to do the labeling but I was happy none the less. Fast forward to last week. I got a second order but this time I had a new small thermal printer, but I was unable to set it up for that second order so I also allow the postal center to print that label. I believe I need to have someone set up my printers because I want to print my own labels at home and at least save a few bucks.

hey usps says the packages have to be under 3/4 inch thick to be dropped off in a drop box, but the package you have in the video appears thicker. Is there an exception to this rule? Have you ever encountered a problem using a drop box?
Not sure if anyone could answer but I'm a little confused - She says she prices her items as free shipping, but she's paying for shipping in order to create her labels. Is she paying for the shipping herself and the customer is paying nothing, or is she implying that she already added the shipping cost to her item? I'd like for my customers to pay their end on shipping, so I'm confused by her wording in setting up and paying for her shipping.

I'm trying to set up a free shipping option so I can send a very light item in a letter - however, I don't want to end up having to pay for First Class or Priority Mail shipping. I don't see a specific option to mark First Class & Priority as calculated (and buyer pays) and then free shipping that would be without tracking. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes! You absolutely can! Just make sure it’s clear packing tape!! Or super clear tape of some sorts! 💖💖💖
