Hi everyone, Karen here! Just wanted to give an update. I passed about a week ago in Belvedere 🥳Thanks again Aman, and shout out to my dad for teaching me how to drive! 🙌🏾
Aman, I am so happy and honoured to inform you that I passed my test 3 days ago - WITH 0 MINORS!!!!! 🎉 Thank you so much! Your content has helped me massively and I also hope to meet you & drive w/ you one day (take part in one of your videos)! 😂🤩❤
She really did a good job. BTW, I love your content because it doesn't matter if it's the UK or Germany, your videos provide knowledge about everyday situations on the road, which is very helpful in studying for the test and what happens on the road ❤❤❤❤
Thank You Aman. Your Videos has taught me a whole lot. i passed my test on Monday for the first time with no driving faults. i really appreciate you and everyone on this channel. thanks so much
Karen is a great driver, really hope she went on to pass her test. And Aman as always, a superb instructor! Your recollection of events is as clear as day! No pun intended lol. You’re nearly on 1mil subscribers! Well deserved! 🎉
I watched most of your videos to prepare for my practical test, which I passed on the first attempt today. I recommended your channel to my wife who passed at the first attempt about a month ago........ just practiced with family and watched your channel on both occasions. Thank you. I will gladly continue recommending your channel for those who want to do their driving test.👋👋👋👋👋👋
That was a really good drive Karen, well done you'll soon be in our exclusive members club, full Licence holders who can drive alone. Good Luck with your Test.
I saw you Aman today on the A40. We were besides eachother at the lights before B&Q I was going to say Hi, but you seemed in thoughts I didn't want to disturb your peace ahahah.
I have been driving for 25 years, I never had an accident, only once got caught speeding and once went through a red traffic light and got caught again. Would I be able to pass the driving test today? Could you take me for a mock test?
It depends on the day and the examiner really. Not having an accident doesn't mean a thing . Let's say someone changes lane or comes out of junction as you are going past etc. It's possible to get caught in an accident through mo fault of your own. What makes a good driver has nothing to do with not having an accident more can you fix others mistakes as they happen and make it a nome event. That's not to say you can't get caught out by someone doing something they shouldn't. Let's say you where on a motorway and passing a car pulling a trailer and the trailer looses a wheel due to poor maintenance and you end up hitting as there is littereraly nothing you could do. It would not mean you are a bad driver. As it was out of your control. Having an accident does make you realise things can go wrong and doesn't do you any harm. Obviously I don't mean a serious accident with people hurt. The police traffic officer a lot of them will have had an accident. There is no way you would say they are bad drivers due to an accident and they are deffinatley more trained than most drivers on the road. You would stand a good chance of passing but if someone does something they shouldn't and you don't deal with it then it's a possible fail
I would really like experienced drivers like yourself to do mock tests with her. Would be interesting to see if people who have been driving a long time, would pass a driving test today
As Friday is Black Friday, has anyone brought DGN’s £30 driving shoes?😮 i have not, if i buy this i will let everyone know.😅 Not only was this good, this was good to see through pedal camera.❤ Wonder if Karen likes her name.😊 Clear view Aman is so close to 1,000,000 (one million) subscribers, Lowkey this is possible before Christmas and could be sent to her by February next year in 2025! Anyone remember Aman from drive London, time? Thank you Karen for coming on this, well done on passing this mock test and was a good watch. Hopefully she pass - she seems a good safe uk driver. 9:15 yet they fail me DVSA. 19:30 good advice Aman.
Your videos are my therapy! I have my test next Friday (Friday 13th 🫣) & whenever I start feeling anxious I watch your videos & instantly calm 😌 so thank you for such a brilliant channel! I have just binge watched a bunch of your videos & I'm pretty sure I saw you hit 1M subscribers unless I'm mistaken?! But either congrats!🎉 Well deserved!! 🏆
I'm new to your channel and really love your videos. Btw when you say 'Experienced driver' do you mean someone who has had more than enough driving lessons and practice but still without a license?
Drivers are, by definition, those who drive. Prior "lessons" (which as overrated) and closed circuit practice are often irrelevant to that denomination (in the context of your question)
Hey experienced driver in this case are usually drivers that have driven in another country on a different licence or have been learning for years (they've got a lot of experience, but not necessarily in the uk)
When she moved off at the end from the right hand side of the road and reverse she should have checked the left blind spot last before moving back over not pavement side , think you missed that . Love your content your amazing❤️
I just passed my test today yayy In Isleworth -London with 4 minor mistakes it was my second attempt. Anyone still working towards getting their license shouldn’t give up just watch a lot of videos online and do more practice in those areas you are not so confident in good luck all.
Planning ahead with sat navs is definitely a learning curve after practice, I still don't understand what she wants me to do sometimes and mess up but usually just follow my road until she redirects me.
yeah you've just got to look at the diagram as well as read the road ahead, just continue driving safely ( the examiner will usually redirect you on your test if you go the wrong way)
She was great to be fair. The only minor that sounded harsh was her waiting for the lorry to turn, sure she could've creeped but I feel like waiting is much safer because you can't see what's behind it
I wasn't sure why the gear mishap wasn't a serious fault. Surprising, causing, a/the car behind to have to break like that, I always thought that was always a straight serious/fail 🤔
Hey the gear issue wasn’t that bad as it is a sharp turn and Karen was braking to show the driver behind that she’s slowing down 1st gear just made the drive a bit jolty that’s all
16:24 can i ask here why this wouldnt be a serious fault as it caused the driver behind to break harshly, i thought a minor fault was the control gears itself and then is upgraded to a serious because the driving had an effect on another driver?
The turn is a sharp turn and Karen was braking to warn the driver behind, the gear change simply made the car slow down more than it needed to It wasn’t severe and she was warning the traffic behind, it would only be a serious fault if she had not used the brake or she had brought the clutch up really fast and jolted badly The left turn is generally sharp, so anyone that’s not familiar with the area won’t know what the road looks like (especially a new driver)
Hi. I failed. My test yesterday. So upset. I got 5 minors and failed because the learner in front of me pulled to the left and I did too behind them my ustructor told me to pull off when safe to do so. The car in front was indicating right to pull off but stalled. I waited and a car from behind overtook both of us. I thought it was to dangerous to pull out around her as she was still indicating to pull out.
My car does not have sat nav. I do not have a sat nav. I do not own a smart phone. I have blacked out windows all around the rear of my car. Would it be possible for me to take my driving test in my car ? Also as an HGV driver I think it is wrong to edge forward at a junction if a vehicle coming towards the right has an indicator blinking on the n/s as this may be a fault by the driver who is actually going straight on. Surely it is illegal to park with the front of your vehicle facing on coming traffic ? Your reflectors will be showing white to on coming traffic not red and you may have vehicles parking in front and behind you making it dangerous do to lack of vision to pull out . I hope the lady driving can drive with a manual hand brake
hey I think for taking your car for a driving test you will need to check with the rear window being blacked out. the examiner will bring their own sat nav so thats not an issue. with regards to moving forward, you would only go out half way when the vehicle from the right has already started to turn (in this case the road was starting to get blocked up so we want to slowly edge forward) hope that helps
Hi, I’m a driving instructor from Germany researching why getting a driver's license is so much cheaper in the UK than in Germany, despite the UK having fewer accidents. What’s the average price for a 60-minute driving lesson with an instructor in the UK? I’ve seen rates as low as £24, which seems unreal. In Germany, instructors typically earn €30 to €42 per hour after expenses, with employers covering the car and fuel. A 60-minute lesson costs around €90. If UK instructors charge £24 and cover car and fuel expenses themselves, how do you guys actually eat? I mean if you substract VAT and costs for gas and the car you should have like 7 or 8 Euros left per hour. I am just trying to understand... Because my students are asking me why it is so much cheaper in other countries. Is it because you guys are like starving?
Hi! I m not an instructor, but I can assure that is not £24. I have been looking for driving lessons and it cost around 45-50 and the highest I found was £90. If you know someone that cost £24 tell me 😩

Me too! Watched for the information stayed for the entertainment
The sharp left turn was really sneaky, could easily see someone missing it if they aren't prepared.
That's why it always worth looking at the sat nav screen
Thank you for these amazing videos I passed my driving test today with 6 minors I also have autism so it's an amazing feeling passing first time

Just a FYI. Most sat navs can be programmed to frequency and distance warnings. So better to suit individual drivers.
