I truly wish I had an instructor as calm and understanding as you, your smile is so reassuring! I finally got my driver's license with the help of a private DMV attorney after struggling through three failed attempts. I made some rookie mistakes, like forgetting to signal while changing lanes, and I dealt with a pretty tough instructor. Despite that, I still make it a point to watch these videos to improve my driving skills. I want to practice until I feel completely confident behind the wheel before hitting the road on my own!
11:20 was what I failed 2 of my mock tests on, same road, same corner, my instructor was not impressed but we both learnt and realised I’d an issue with corners and hadn’t yet worked out the implications of my actions. Next day as it was close to my test my instructor kindly gave up his Sunday and we spent 2hrs going round that estate and that allowed me to understand my errors and perfect those turns. Despite failing all my mocks I did pass first time, 3 minors.
@@ClearviewDriving Thank you, I had a great instructor, he was really chilled and patient with me and believed in me. It’s taken me longer to gain confidence but I’m getting there now😊
A bit of a tip for her, when moving off don't signal until you get gear ready and mirror checks, if there are cars coming from behind you shouldn't be "asking" them to let you out, wait for a clear gap, then signal and do blindspot check
Honestly she reminds me of myself, I drive well when in my mum's car or just on a normal driving lesson, but as soon as it's a mock test I'm making silly mistakes like hitting the curb on a turn, taking turns too quick when there was no reason to and stalling for not remembering a simple thing like going back to first gear. It gets jarring because I know that I can drive like an experienced driver in things like handling stop-start traffic and moving off on the craziest steepest hills I've ever seen (we live in a hilly area) but as soon as it's a mock test it somehow goes wrong. Obviously it comes down to letting pressure take over my judgement because it's not like I don't know how to deal with these situations, so it's nice to see that she went on to pass her actual test! Update: I ended up passing my test with 4 minors! Somehow I was less stressed in the test than in my lessons haha
Make the examiner feel safe, focus on the next part. Keep going through the steps as you've being taught. Like top mirror down to gear and the bits in between and embrace the nerves uts time to show you are ready. You've done the work by getting lesson and practice and as long as the examiner feels safe you have a strong chance as the things like poor observation and faults will naturally not be thier

I'm from The Netherlands, had my license since 1996, driving buses for 22 years and I am sooo curious if I would pass a test like this; being used to a left hand driving vehicle on the right hand side of the road, not being used to mini roundabouts, different give-way situations, different speed limit indicators and... hills! I drive a little Citigo without any of the fancy stuff like your Mercedes has. I got my license thanks to these videos!!! The only thing that helped me was literally reminding myself I got this before I lost all confidence. YOU GOT THIS!!! As well as talking to the instructor (even if they don’t talk back) about why I made certain mistakes (WHEN )I did them showing you understand your mistake’s without being told gives you much more leeway. I have passed driving test on this month 13 th August in Luton and today I received my driving license card. Still, I am watching these videos to learn to be safe driver. Thanks for making these videoes. ❤❤❤❤❤😍
Personally I don't think she is ready to be on the road herself. The driving is fine until she is doing something and others drivers come along she feels guilty for holding them up which then leads to rushed decisions or getting in a panic. Like the parking started good but when a car turned up she gets panicked and the stall is panicking about delaying the traffic. Where it is best to focus on what you need to do and forget them they don't exist. They aint going to drive into you. All she is needing is simply just more driving practice not nessarrily a lesson just to get comfortable been in control. At the moment she doesn't know how to deal with the unexpected and panics about it.
Hey I think the speed issue was due to being in a diesel car and she’s used to the sound of a petrol car. Plus Khia is very confident gearing up and being eco safe but with my car. 3rd was just a little fast in places. She did pass her and test the next day, with the reverse parking I did work on this with her after the mock test and she managed it perfectly by the end. :)
@ClearviewDriving nice to hear she passed well done to her. She should take a massive confidence boost from the test result as she obviously deserves to be on the road . It's not a bad thing she uses her ears and it was good of you to help with the couple of weak points. Now we've to get juvenile a licence I'm fairly confident he can do it with regular lessons and practice like daily and weekly. He has definitely improved .
Failed my practical test for the third time this week due to pedestrians and not speeding up on a dual carriageway. I'm starting to feel like giving up because I can't book a fourth test soon enough.
Hey don’t be discouraged. Just make sure you’re practicing regularly and be confident driving. See if you can drive with family to get more practice outside of lessons You will get this! Good luck
7:30 wait she clearly went from a 20mph zone to a 30mph zone a minute or two previously and I NEVER saw any signs indicating otherwise so how is this a 20mph zone?!
Hi Aman, I am a learner driver currently waiting for a test date. My instructor said that I am test ready. I am curious to see how I would do in a mock test with different instructor. I’d like to do and be featured on your channel. It would be very cool if I can do that.
Random question - is it generally safe to leave your headlights on auto mode? I haven't done much night driving since passing my test earlier this year.
I leave mine on auto and they will come on as soon as the sensors sense that it is dark, youll see it on the dash too. My high beams I turn on manually but the others are all automatic. Driving at night isn't too bad, you just have to focus a lot more, you've got this!
Not reading the signs is the issue and control of the car road positioning. Shame because she drove well but definitely a few things to work on. The stall at the roundabout was a shame, she panicked which is the worst thing you can do. At the end of the day other road users have to be aware of you. No need to rush if you stall just stay calm and get your clutch in and release slowly. Hopefully she will learn from this and I think she will pass with a few more lessons
Question: if you end up too wide in the parallel parking, can you just adjust the way it was done in this video? Weren't you supposed to swing back out and reverse?
@@Parrot-parakeet-funhad I known...! I kept swinging all the way out and repeat the same mistake until the examiner got tired and failed me 😅 I would have been able to adjust from standing parallel to the road already, I thought what would be a fail and not just a minor. Oh well.

I have passed driving test on this month 13 th August in Luton and today I received my driving license card. Still, I am watching these videos to learn to be safe driver.
Thanks for making these videoes. ❤❤❤❤❤😍
Thats great to hear, congratulations 👏 👏
Love it!
Oh my goodess the clutch coasting is borderline dangerous here.
Congrats on passing Khia :)
How did her instructor never let her take any mock texts when her real one is booked?
6:07 Aman can see the hurt I'm your face expression 🤣🤣
If you hit the curb in South Africa, it's a fail
Yes it's dangerous. If they don't know to recover the car after stall
Congrats Khia
Failed my practical test for the third time this week due to pedestrians and not speeding up on a dual carriageway. I'm starting to feel like giving up because I can't book a fourth test soon enough.
Hey don’t be discouraged. Just make sure you’re practicing regularly and be confident driving. See if you can drive with family to get more practice outside of lessons
You will get this! Good luck
Test tomorrow but doesn't know that you need the handbrake to be turned on whilst on a hill. Lol
I’ve got a test in couple of hours. Lowkey nervous and don’t feel prepared. I will let you know if I pass
Good luck!
This is why u disable start and stop lol
I agree I've stalled because it before it's dangerous in my opinion, but here it wasn't to do with it
7:30 wait she clearly went from a 20mph zone to a 30mph zone a minute or two previously and I NEVER saw any signs indicating otherwise so how is this a 20mph zone?!
I can’t really comment on this video as it would contain spoiler. The only thing I could say is that she would need to improve to pass her test.
People need to watch videos before reading comments, and if they dont it's thier own fault. You are good :)
Your facial expressions does it for me - I swear! lol
I'm well ready for my test If this is anything to go by
I'm having mocks soon, I've had 23 hours of lessons and my test is in October.
U pass?
i wish i could just go for it after 35 hours gotta wait 120 😭😭😭😭
*also she is so pretty and clearly the sweetest girl
Can I ask for Satnav rather than being told by mouth. The satna kinda gives a direction
Driving with Khia, Driving with Khia
There hope for me she drives alright to start off with but it’s just nerves I think
All in favor for an Aman sat nav say I
Hi do you do driving lessons in S21 Tulse hill?
Hi Aman, I am a learner driver currently waiting for a test date. My instructor said that I am test ready. I am curious to see how I would do in a mock test with different instructor. I’d like to do and be featured on your channel. It would be very cool if I can do that.
Love video
Random question - is it generally safe to leave your headlights on auto mode? I haven't done much night driving since passing my test earlier this year.
I leave mine on auto and they will come on as soon as the sensors sense that it is dark, youll see it on the dash too. My high beams I turn on manually but the others are all automatic. Driving at night isn't too bad, you just have to focus a lot more, you've got this!
Yeah auto is fine, just got to be careful if you accidentally end up putting the fog lights on.
I’ve always had it on auto, never had trouble
was this mock test on Sunday because the road seem nice?
Been watching since March and had my first test on the 15th.
Passed with 4 minors 🎉🎉🎉
Not reading the signs is the issue and control of the car road positioning. Shame because she drove well but definitely a few things to work on. The stall at the roundabout was a shame, she panicked which is the worst thing you can do. At the end of the day other road users have to be aware of you. No need to rush if you stall just stay calm and get your clutch in and release slowly. Hopefully she will learn from this and I think she will pass with a few more lessons
I passed at pinner last year November, pinner is a good test route
If this video came out yesterday so when's her test
Congrats on passing your test but my god she could of killed that pedestrian 😭😭
Question: if you end up too wide in the parallel parking, can you just adjust the way it was done in this video? Weren't you supposed to swing back out and reverse?
You can drive forward or backwards to adjust, but I think you will get a minor for control
@@Parrot-parakeet-funhad I known...! I kept swinging all the way out and repeat the same mistake until the examiner got tired and failed me 😅 I would have been able to adjust from standing parallel to the road already, I thought what would be a fail and not just a minor. Oh well.
Hi, how can I book in for mock test with clear view driving . Thanks
How can I contact with you, I need to do lessons with you, I live in west London, I really like your instructions, please let me know, how can I contact with you? thanks

14:46 that’s a horrible sound, kind of like nails on a blackboard.
Nearly took out the dad and his baby 😭 good luck
