Loved loved your video. Beautiful stitching. Beautiful quilt. Loved idea of drawer with bees and pretty bee pulls. Love your Santa tree. You are now on my never miss a video list. Welcome to flosstube
Congrats on your new home. You are so blessed. What an opportunity! If your sewing room is anything to go by and your "production", you have likely made your home very cozy already. I hope it brings you great joy and appreciation. Would love to see a trunk show of your quilts as well.
Thank you so much for your sweet comment! We had over two years to plan and dream how we wanted to lay this house out so it’s been very satisfying to get everything in its place! Thank you for watching 🥰
Well that was a bunch of eye candy! Thanks for your very fun first floss tube. Sounds like stitching kept you sane while your home was being built. We built a home this year too and, as always, stitching was my therapy. I only worked on bee stitches and patriotic stitches from April through August because everything else was packed away. I cracked up at Jake's special editing at the end.....perfect. :)
Carrie, that was such fun!!! What an amazing stitching year you had!! Love PS. I haven't stitched the 12 Days of Christmas but have had the patterns for a long time and never noticed they each have a pear on them! Congratulations on your new home! Thanks again and happy stitching! (Loved the ending)!
Love your video! I absolutely love Prairie Schooler. I stitched my first Prairie Schooler in 1986. Sunshine and Shadow. I have around 60 framed pieces. I did 12 days of Santa and my friend made it into a quilt. I keep all my pieces out. I believe i have 350 pieces on my walls. I worked for Ben Franklin crafts where all my pieces were framed. I used Craft Warehouse in Gresham Oregon when i lived there. I use Hobby Lobby now. I live in Nevada. Look forward to seeing you again.
Girl, I love all of your finishes for 2024! Prarie Schooler Santa’s have never been a focus for me I have stitched several over time but I now need the 12 days of Christmas and yea the pear buttons were very clever😊 I will add those as well! I may however change Santa’s coat to blue or green. I just get tired of the red but I have maybe 50 ornaments stitched on one large tree mainly all red Santas etc. I can’t wait until your next video! Blessings into the new year!🎉😊🎉
Love your first floss tube. You have so many wonderful stitches that you have finished. I thought that your be stitches that you finished in the old drawer with the really pretty bee pulls on them was beautiful. You did a very nice job on it. Looking forward to your next video and happy stitching. Also loved your quilt that you had hanging up. I do stitching and quilting both.
You were a joy to watch. So glad I found you and I subscribed immediately. Keep them coming. I found several ideas and shared many thoughts with you. Thank you!
Wonderful to meet you! Welcome to Flosstube. The striping effect in your one piece is due to the varigation in the floss. It will look more varigated if you go one stitch at a time. Looking forward to seeing you again.
What a fabulous first floss tube! I’m looking forward to seeing more! I have not done any prairie schooler Santas by I may have to jump down that rabbit hole!!!!
Topnotch professional 1st video. What a beautiful way to kick off 2025. Your stitching and finishes are amazing. Thank You,looking forward to your next video.
Two thumbs up…you did a fantastic job with your first video. I have fingers crossed that you will continue to do videos. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful work.
Very cool video! I love to see finish parades…way more than WIP parades. So I hung onto every second of this one. Working full time, quilting business and all those finishes blew my mind! Loved the bloopers. Congrats on your new home. Thx for the video. Sewing room, from what I could see is lovely. And that quilt is gorgeous! Don’t have Instagram or Facebook. So I’ll be waiting for your next update. Looking forward to it. Maybe you’ll be up to doing a house tour of your new home sometime.
Thank you so much! I’ve been watching other flosstubers for a few years and I am always so inspired so I wanted to see if maybe I could inspire others!
Goals! 🙃 I'm amazed at your stitching speed and I absolutely love the dog hair included in the pillow! Looking forward to more videos from you! Headed over to find you on Instagram now!
So glad I found your FT!! Log Cabin design is my favorite quilt pattern!! I would love to learn to quilt, but there is way too much I still want to cross stitch, but maybe I can do a small someday. I too love Prairie Schooler!! Great job on all your finishes!!! Looking forward to more videos! Loved the end of bloopers! 🤣Happy stitching!🪡
So loved your first flosstube! I've followed you on Instagram for a while but didn't put 2 and 2 together until you talked about the dogs lol! Can't wait for your next video!!!
Omg! You are my absolute new favorite! When you flipped over and showed that washy tape, I was like, I found my people. Can’t wait for your next video.
Great stitching. I was surprised to see it was a Flosstube 1 you are so familiar. Must be the quilting i recognize you from. Looking forward to seeing more of everything you do
So glad I discovered your channel today. Your finishes are simply amazing. Looking forward to the next video. You have inspired me to finish my projects. ❤
I am so glad to hear that!! The reason I watch Flosstube is because it inspires me so I am happy to hear that! I will see if I can come up with a plan to share my quilts on UA-cam as well! Thank you for watching 💕
Really enjoyed your debut 🎉. Looking forward to more Flosstubes. Would love to see you include some quilting stuff. Thanks to Jake for the editing. The end was 🤣
Congratulations on your first flosstube! Your finishes always amaze me on IG, so this is very satisfying! Following your home build and the hospitality of your parents has been amazing. I love your dogs and cat. Now I have a new Flosstuber to look forward to watching!
Oh, thank you! I am so glad you found me over here! I am looking forward to things to come in 2025, especially with the home build finally behind us!! 😂
I so enjoyed your first flosstube!! Wow!! What a fantastic start🎉🎉🎉your stitching and finishes are adorable. That quilt in the background is beautiful. Jake is doing a great job as well!!! Cant waitvto see your next one!!
Great finishes for 2024. You def knocked it out of the park! I’ve been a quilter since 2001 when my husband bought me my first sewing machine and now I still blame him for my obsession lol. I got my Gammill longarm as a surprise Christmas gift in 2011 And I started my longarm business in 2014…. unfortunately, due to a very unexpected medical issue in November 2020, I had to close down my long arm business and quit my 15yr job at our local Quilt shop. Being not able to lift my arms, I was forced to find other hobbies than my hand embroidery so I taught myself how to crochet granny squares via UA-cam, and started following several flosstuber’s after watching Lori Holt sprinkle her cross stitching magic through my TV….so now I’m a cross stitch junkie as well. I am also an active Bee Keeper so you’re bee stitches I absolutely love and now I will have to see if I can find those bee knobs because I have several vintage sewing machine drawers that I think would make a cute display just like yours.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! Longarm quilting can be a challenge. I was all free-motion/hand-guided for 5 years and it really does take a toll on your body. I was in so so so much pain some days. I’m so grateful to have been able to upgrade to a computerized longarm. I can do what I love again!
@ I truly understand. If I wasn’t 55 and a full time nanny to my first grand baby since Jan 2024 (born in Oct 2023) I might have upgraded to a Statler and got back into my business. I still have a few previous clients that call me on occasion but they know my circumstances being a “HUNNY” so they aren’t in any hurry but I still have my weekends to work in my QuiltCave and piddle with all my stuff. Currently doing a quilt restoration for a high school friend and have 3 quilts to longarm for friends…not complaining at all. I just need to live to be at least 369 years old to get all the things done in my obsession world. 🤭😂
Loved watching your video! Beautiful pieces, I need to get going on my Prairie Schoolers. I absolutely love the Dear Santa backing fabric you got from your mom!! 😊
Welcome, I so enjoyed your video. You are an amazing stitcher and all those finishes. Please make more videos, and show all your work.. Happy New Year .
Beautiful stitching, thanks for sharing your 2024 life.. love your fur friends too. Do share your quilts & books in the future. I need to learn cross-stitching. Love your advice to keep trying and stitch same direction. ❤️ it all and thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing all of your amazing finishes in this FlossTube. I’m so glad you are going to do videos now. Looking forward to the next one. Happy New Year!
Awesome video and such great projects and finishes. So glad you’re doing videos. I hope you share your quilting along the way as well. You’re an inspiration all around.
I'm so glad nobody was home to hear me watch this because I'm pretty sure I said, "Oh, my gosh, that's so cute..." 101 times. So much incredible work! Thank you for sharing!! (Also, Jake? 10/10 on the editing!)
Wow this was an amazing video keep up your inspiring work! Also, I haven't seen that D.A.R.E. tshirt since my son participated in that race and won and went to nationals in Florida!
Great video! I’m just down the road from you on a farm outside of Burton! Loved seeing all of your finishes and am a big fan of Lori Holt for both quilting and cross stitch. Look forward to your next flosstube.
Oh my word! I had the best time watching this! When you said, y’all are on your own, I just about lost it and then the washi tape! I am 74 and have been stitching for a thousand years, off and on, and this year I decided to learn to lace and frame. 😅It’s about time, don’t you think! 😂 I love the linen for the transitions and the font looks like backstitching. Cudos to your editor! Looking forward to next flosstube! ❤
thank you!! my husband did so good with the edits! all I did was push the record button LOL Lori Holt has a great tutorial on lacing and framing, in case you haven't seen it yet :)
A friend of mine recommended your channel to me and I’m so glad she did! You do beautiful work and I enjoyed seeing all of your stitching. The friend that recommended you calls me flame fingers so she thought I would enjoy all your finishes and I did. Happy, blessed, healthy 2025.
Your stitching is amazing. The quilt behind you is as well. Do you have a Quilting channel? I can’t believe how much you have done. Really enjoyed it! Thank you.
thank you! I used the called for thread, which was classic colorworks cherry cobbler. mine seemed a little lighter though so maybe the dye lot I got was slightly different than the cover photo!
Awesome finishes. We like some of the same designers. I am currently working on a PS Santa’s. Can’t wait until your next Flosstube. How do you stitch so fast? Do you use a hoop? TFS.
thank you so much! I like to stitch in hand and use the sewing method ("scooping" the fabric with the needle instead of the stick-and-stab method... if that makes any sense at all) If I'm stitching on 40 count I use a hoop and have to do the stick-and-stab, which takes me longer. my stitches look better with a hoop but I like being able to go faster by stitching in hand!
Thanks for sharing those fabulous finishes! I’ve been struggling with cording the past week. How many strands of DMC did you use on those 12 days of Christmas ornies? They look perfect. Do you sew on the cording, or glue it? I’ve followed Vonna’s instructions, but find I need to wind it a LOT tighter than I would have thought.
I followed Vonna’s tutorial for the cording but found in the beginning I wasn’t winding them tight enough either! It took me several ornaments before I got a good feel for it. For the cording I did 3 strands of each color like Vonna. If you mean the stitching then I stitched them with 2 threads. I also glue it because I am impatient lol. Thank you for watching!
Wow wow wow!!! I love watching you and so much inspiration!!!
Please keep the videos coming. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! I will be uploading a new one this week! 😄

Your stitching is amazing. The quilt behind you is as well. Do you have a Quilting channel? I can’t believe how much you have done. Really enjoyed it! Thank you.
Thank you so much! I think I might make a few separate videos for my quilting! 😄
Would love a craft roon tour.
I will put it on my list for future videos! 😄
You are so talented. Love your stitching and finishes! Were you aware of how many ads there are in this flosstube?
Thank you! I have UA-cam premium so I don’t see ads lol 😬
Love your projects! What thread did you use for the Christmas? Quaker, love how it turned out?
Did you use 2 strands of floss on your santas?
Yes I did 😊
Great job! You are super creative and have an artists eye. My only suggestion is to write down notes before you record.
Thank you!
Hi...Love your video but I cannot here you very well....hoping you can change that...LOVE everything else! Best of luck!
Thank you! On my first playback I quickly realized I am a mumbler LOL. I will work on that! 🫶🏻
