Let me know which image from this video is your favorite. Also make sure to drop a thumbs up if you enjoyed the video. Thanks everyone for watching!
All the images are breathtakingly beautiful, but I feel the first long exposure minimalist picture of a bunch of trees standing tall surrounded by fog is definitely my favourite. So serene, so calming.
The one on the left with the path for me
All image are different and beautiful
The image of the sales force building standing tall and majestic amidst the sea of fog is my most favourite. The image conveys a strong sense of calmness and makes the viewer meditative
No particular "favorite", but I love the graininess of the film shots. No matter what the punks say, film is NOT dead.
Film certainly is not! I love Joe's film shots in the video.
I love the way the city glows under the fog in the wide shot. Beautiful work.
I love the time lapse with cars driving through the fog
Another masterpiece, Michael. The night time lapse was my favorite.
Your last two compositions were the best for me. I've got to come out there one day.
Nice Michael, I like the partnering w/ Joe, great crossover from digital to film, and respect for the old cameras. Loved all the images, but the night time time lapse was my favorite w/ allllll the wonderful flying lights, of cars and planes in the lovely moving clouds, really wonderful. You are really rocking your channel.
Thanks so much Todd!
The top of Salesforce and Pyramid peeking through rolling fog is my favorite. The light from the setting sun glowing onto the fog was awesome.
I've never seen something like like this, For a 90 year old camera🌏❤💘💖💯
I was very astonished 😮 i felt goosebumps of excitement all over my body
I'd just like to point out 1.6k likes with ONLY 2 DISLIKES. That is a seriously positive and wholesome community / fan-base, keep up the great work!
The last shot and joe's long exposure were both great. Hope you get your 35mm camera and video your progress with it.
I really like that one long exposure from the beginning where its bright white with some trees poking through.
The way you pair this delicate music with your stunning work is sublime // Thank you so much for the healing these videos inspires // And the inspiration
Thank you so much Jason, I really appreciate that!
I'm just a visitor here for the film content!!
the night time-lapse absolutely blew my mind. i actually stopped the vid and wend back to look again coz i though it couldn't be so good
Those long exposure shot just left me speechless.
Absolutely in love with those shots❤️
You never fail to amaze me and give me crazy motivation to get out there and take some shot! Thank you so much Micheal, it is truly special watching you work and how you think things through. Keep doing what you are doing it is amazing!
Stunning images - thank you! I too loved the last shot of the glowing house but I also really liked the night fog waterfall time lapse - fantastic!!!
One of your best videos I've seen Michael. Absolutely stunning shots you got! Always a pleasure to watch a video from yours.
Absolutaly awesome! Thank you for bringing us such dreaming scenes!
Your favorite is mine. I love it. Thanks for sharing and thank you to Joe for sharing with us as well. His images are stunning.
Thanks so much for watching Patty!
Really great shots , especially loved the night time lapse and the sunset fog ones
Stunning photography Michael! Thank you as always1
Amazing video and the photos look awesome, every single one of them ❤️
I really loved that night time lapse , it feels like Christmas is here💛💛
I just started watching your video and i love your work and your progress and mindset of the photography
I guess you are gonna be my inspiration for ky photography 😁😁
I liked the first long exposure you shared. I wasn't expecting a high key type of shot like that and so minimalist. The lights in the time lapse are so awesome. I hope to make a few visits up there when it's chase time. Rad eclipse shot btw! Awesome to see those vintage cameras too. Shots came out great by your buddy.
Wow man, stunning images! Seriously! My fav is the one just after the minimalistic foggy one. Those trees, sun reflections and the fog across them.. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
WOW! I never had seen nothing like this. What an amazing video/photographs. That last time lapse was something out of this world. That first image with the trees, minimalist look, wow, beautiful.
As always, some gorgeous images. The time-lapse clips were lovely, particularly your last one. When I was growing up, Joe's Pentax was something of an aspirational device, and it was interesting to contrast the explosive thump of the mirror going up with the discreet "plip" of your Nikon. I always feel delighted and inspired after watching one of your clips.
Another beautiful video! They're all good shots, but my favorite image is the high key minimalist image with the cluster of trees surrounded by the fog. That one is stunning. True fine art.
Great show, Michael! Got to get back there this summer!
Watching this makes me want to fly out to SF!! Great Video Michael...and, Joe.
Loved all the images Michael and the timelapse look fantastic 👌
I loved all the images of this video!!!
Another wonderful vlog with amazing landscape and captures. Thank you!
I also own 2 working folding cameras from the '50s and never find the time to use them properly.
This is one of the reasons why I also love watching vlogs from professionals like you. It makes me dream.
My favorite is the one around 5:35. I just love how the trees catch the sunlight glow and stand out from the rest of the image.
Hard to pick a favorite, especially with all those stunning long exposures. However, I did get chills watching the time-lapse with the fog rolling over the cars and the airplanes moving through the sky... so perhaps that's my favorite. ;) Great video, thank you for continuing to share your work!
You make what is so hard look so easy. The mark of a talent and hard work. Thank you, really enjoyed.
The fog waterfall photo with the car lights beaming from underneath was my favorite, but those time lapses were fantastic!
Such a beautiful place
Nice video. Thank you Michael.
Greetings from Germany.
Stunning images 😮 my fav the sunlit trees amongst the cooler fog.
Again a great vlog. Please go on.
Great timelaps, awesone long exposures Michel. I woold go for the minimalistc. Thnx.
Incredible
I like this video a lot. Favorite is the night city timelapse, truly amazing.
Wow! “Jealous” is not a strong enough description of my reaction. Very happy someone caught those conditions on film and digitally. I love the minimalist single shots, but the time lapses of flowing clouds are spectacular. Thank you for the content!
All images are awesome. Great video, and great photos. Very inspiring. 😍😍😍
Those pictures are stunning.
Absolutely stunning matey, them last two shots before you went into night time were impeccable
Stunning photos. It's fantastic. There is a lot to learn from the master.
Great content. Some killer photos with the sunlit tree tops being my favorite.
What a beautiful video! I agree about the last photo. I gather from one of your comments that you went to Brooks in SB - another beautiful environment!
Great photos and time lapses! My favorites are the one with trees in the fog at about 4'25" and the long exposure at 6'25" - 7'
Wow - I really loved this. I do not have a favorite, but WOW the time-lapse is breathtaking.
Wow!! Great photography and video!!
i knew before that i want to go visit SF again but lately i know even stronger that i want to do that. with what i have learned since my last visit 7yrs ago i know my photographs would be much better and one goal is definitely to capture such a fog picture!!! i am gonna speak it into existence - one day I'll be going on a phototour with you :) much love from Germany
Great images! Helpful information!
Your first long exposure was spectacular!!!
Incredible! Just picked up a 65 year old Edixa Reflex and going to try some long exposure shots, this video is really motivating :D
Oh gosh, who could pick a favorite from all those beauties from both you and Joe! Love your style Michael and your videos always have such smooth transitions. Well produced!
Thanks so much!
As usual it is AMAZING… I love your fog timelapse so much … see you in the next one !
Thank you!
Dude! Absolutely amazing. Loved this video. I cannot choose a favorite image as they all have their own unique story. Gorgeous :)
Thanks so much Jordan!
great video as always. I love my Pentax 6x7. Almost put it up for sale on ebay last week because I'm looking to buy an R5, but when I saw it sitting in my light box, I just couldn't do it.
Outstanding photography.... the night time laps was a stunner.
I love your color grading in this video!
Absolutely amazing. I can't pick a favorite, because thay ALL are my favorite. Your photography just blows me away. In fact, I get teary-eyed watching your fog photography. Maybe I was a cloud in another life. Thanks for sharing.
That means a ton to hear, thank you so much Shannon, I am really glad you enjoy my fog work!
Espectacular trabajo! 😍 gracias por compartir el producto de tu increíble talento. 12 minutos de caricias a mi alma a través de estas hermosas imágenes.
With love, from Argentina ❣😘
Just Freekin Magical. My favourite is your last time lapse @ 9:30. (if that's allowed?) I love how the aircraft are moving, and the cars lights in the bottom left of scene. I must have watched this 20 times and I still find something new each time.
Thank you so much for your content.
Tony form Norfolk, UK
San Francisco is a great place to photograph. And you got some great shots. My favorites are the videos of the fog flowing through the valleys with the city in the background. But, they are all good.
Good Job Michael. 3 thumbs up.
Awesome.
I discovered your channel recently and I have to say that I loveee your work!Very unique! I binge watched almost every of your outdoor videos. They were all amazing!Especially the latest two in the sand dunes!Greetings from Greece!
Thanks so much!
Cool!
Absolutely beautiful Michael! Huge inspiration.
Thanks so much!
I am new to your videos and come via Nick Page - wow! What fantastic content! Masterful indeed!
Beautiful images and timelapses :)
Beautiful. I have always wanted to capture images like these. Got to do more research on spots to go to. Fantastic images. 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks so much Paul!
I love the sweet sound of the pentax 67, so distinctive ! Of course you can shoot anything with film ;) , it is more trials and errors (and patience) than digital, but it works. I managed to shoot the Neowise comet on a 60 years old camera (not the greatest shot in the world, but a fun challenge !). I think that you minimalist shot (5:00) is my favourite, so calm ! Thank you for your work
Stunning...absolutely stunning! Favorite? Wow, really hard to choose, but it's the night-time timelapse of SF! A lot of photographers I follow are going mirrorless, but I gotta tell you, the D850 still delivers excellent images/timelapses, that's why I own one myself.
Incredible as always!
Thank you Mel!
Great photos!
Your passion for photography is great, Subscribe to your channel from today.
beautiful 👍🏻
I love the image around 10:30. There is a nice balance between the patches of the trees on the left & the fog on the right. And the spots of light in the trees leads you down to the Sales Force building all the way in the back of the image.
Thanks so much Jeffrey!
Absolutely amazing work man
thank you Eric!
That’s beautiful ☺️
Very nice video, thanks for sharing this experience. I liked the image of your friend on the 90 year old camera best, but then I love bw photography.
Thanks so much for watching!
All of them 😘😘🙏🙏
You Blow Me Away With that Talent As Always
Beautiful time-lapse
thanks so much!
9:30 wow just wow...
Picking a fav is very difficult considering such breathtaking pictures... however, I love the one taken on the film camera, love the contrast and the grains, and the last one with the lone house, somehow it feels inviting, the warm light of the house with the mist around it, makes you wonder how cool it will be sitting in that house with a cup of hot beverage.
I have a request, would you be able to advise which film your friend used on that old Voigtlander camera, as that did tickle my curiosity...
Great video, photographing the fog in San Francisco has just gone on my bucket list…
Wowww beautiful bro 👍👍🤙🤙
I love this
Love it! Thanks for the stellar content. I’m new to SF and want to start hiking up into the hills. Any areas/hikes you’d suggest I start looking to see the fog waterfalls?
The high key type group of trees pic just stands apart. Others are amazing as always ❤️
Really glad you dig that shot! Thanks!
Super 📷👍😀🖐
thanks!
gorgeous🥰🥰
