I completely disagree that darker hair camouflages a white scalp better than light hair. All hair coloring treatments, but especially lightening the hair, makes hair coarser and therefore a little thicker but dark hair makes a white scalp by contrast, show more, not less.
I started taking vitamin B12 and it has helped tremendously. I also take a vitamin with iron 3 times a week along with biotin. I used to take all of those vitamins and used nioxin but that B12 did make a difference. I take one every day along with D3 also.

He did a great job. But there is another thing you can use that makes a huge difference. I use something called DermMatch. It comes in colors to match your natural color. Paint it along the part line where you are thinnest and in the back if you have loss there. Then blow dry or dry your hair . it stays put and you can no longer see your scalp. It thickens each hair strand and it literally will make your hair look much, much thicker. Your scalp will not show. It is better than the spray on stuff in my experience by a lot and does not smell at all.
PaulaBi Does that product have to be used each time u wash ur hair and also, can it just be used spritzing some water along the hairline u want to use it?

A lot of women lose hair as they age. If it’s genetic it’s hard to find anything that works. I’ve been using Jason Thin to Thick shampoo with Biotin and it helps my hair look and feel thicker plus I started taking Biotin supplements and my hair is not coming out as much now.
A couple of years ago, I was taking Biotin, mostly for nails and skin and I guess it was good for my hair too. I had been feeling unusually tired, so I had some routine blood work and my thyroid test was a little abnormal. I was sent to an endocrinologist for further labs. I got a letter in the mail 2 weeks before the appointment saying that if I was taking Biotin to stop it for the next 2 weeks before the appointment. They retook my blood and the results were normal. He said that Biotin can skew the results, but that it wasn't necessarily bad for you. Before they connected the Biotin with the abnormal TSH, T4, etc., some people were getting misdiagnosed with Graves' Disease or Adrenal CA. It's good that they found out about the connection.

Lots of round brushing done. I have thin hair, but love bangs with a blunt cut. Not as short as this one, but to my shoulders. Does anyone know if he's saying "not to have blonde hair"? Or just a darker base but you can still have blonde highlights.
What brand of hair color do you use? I’m looking for a different one that is not toxic. I have been using Naturtint which still has bad chemicals…I color it at home and save at least $100 a mont.
Why are women loosing so much hair nowadays ? Never see this when I was young , now I’m loosing a ton of hair and my friend is too. Weird.. we prob all have Lyme disease ?
Way back, fewer women colored their hair. I'll bet you never noticed how thin most women's hair is if it's gray or white. It looks normal; in fact, seeing a woman with very thick gray hair makes me do a doubletake because it's so unusual. Also, many women wore wigs. My aunt was almost totally bald at 50 (circa 1965), but she wore a beautiful wig to hide it.
There are a few ideas for ways to treat hair loss Make sure you get sufficient vitamins (A,B6,B12,C, folic acid and biotin all help keep hair healthy) Use rosemary essential oil and jojoba oil Don't brush your hair too much Don't wear tight hats or caps (I learned these and the reasons they work on Fearons Loss Fixer website )
