      Based on what? Sure the newer generation of point guards seems to only care about scoring because that's what gets attention or their team may need them to be scorers first but Curry, Irving, Wall, Rondo, Lawson, Teague, Westbrook, Rubio, Lillard and many more are all gifted and willing passers.

    • @DeSortiz29
      @DeSortiz29 9 років тому +3

      Anthony Lol at you listing Teague, Lillard and esspecially Mr. BallHog Kyrie Irving, I'll let Westbrook pass because for as of late he has been a nice two way PG for the past somewhat 2 seasons but he still hogs the ball but other then that i cant believe you listed Irving lmao do you even watch the NBA?

    Here are the teams that circulates the Finals in West Conference since 1999
    1.) Lakers (7)
    2.) Spurs (6)
    3.) Mavs (2)
    ...OKC made it one time.
    The combination of Steve Nash and Stoudemire is one of the highlights of his Phoenix Suns years but deep inside me, he shouldn't have left Dallas, I hope Cuban regrets that (whoever's fault is it). Dirk Nowitzki reached the Finals 2 times and won 1-1 and continue to compete in the West conference while Nash never reached the Finals but continues to bring the Suns as a contender in the tough West Conf during his stay. Just imagine if he stayed in Dallas, Nash and Nowitzki could have won atleast 2 championships (or more) and a multiple Finals appearance. Dallas didn't have a great point guard when Nash left (Except Kidd who came after his prime but still good.)
    Cuban is a great owner and have done a great job with the Mavs but I think taking out Nash and not keeping his 2011 champioship team is a mistake, Tyson Chandler really compliment Dirks playing style. I think he knows the mistake since he's bringing back T. Chandler this 2014-2015 season and he did a great job at signing Chandler Parsons. Parsons is a really good all-around player who has a potential to be an All-Star and great recruiter, he did a great job recruiting D. Howard at Houston. Now Howard is stuck in Houston since they took out Jeremy Lin and Parsons.

    Just to get this out there, soccer does help you in basketball. Because in soccer you pass the ball to the gaps in the defense then it is the other players job to get the ball. Soccer gives you the ability to see these gaps. As a basketball player, it is easier to pass the ball since you are using your hands. That is why Nash is such a great passer

      Rondo won one, but he had a well-rounded teammate in Pierce, one of the best forwards of all time in KG, and a sharp shooter Ray Allen.

      BasketballStud99 Nash - a combo of 2 things. 1 - poor defense. 2- the other superstar on the team was also a poor defender. You can win a title with a top guy who is a lousy defender, but not if BOTH of your top 2 guys are lousy defenders (the lone exception - the 1988 Lakers) .
      Stockton - a combo of 3 things. 1 - Jordan/Pippen dominant at the same time. 2- Karl Malone sucked in crunch time. 3- Stockton was good to great for a long time, but never *dominant* ... he was never the clear-cut top PG in the league for a season and was never a serious MVP contended.

      @billynamer 10 років тому +6

      ***** False , he was dominant , he had the most steals of any nba player . Jordan , Pip , and Dennis were the best dio plus Phil Jackson as the coach . Jordan and the Bulls ruined franchises , the knicks , suns , jazz , pacers , and other from getting a ring.

    this top 10 didn't do him justice. At least two of these passes are basically handoffs like the commentator said, doesn't take much skill to do that. He's had many assists more impressive than that.

    Effective coaching makes this possible. D'Antoni coached the players to stay in their spots or rotate in certain ways. Nash knew where all of his teammates were. Look again at the corner 3s. They're waiting for the ball.
    Once I saw Nash throw a blind pass to the corner and there was nobody there. He was furious. He was like Tom Brady when a receiver blows a route.

      I'll agree with you on that because it's not hard being the best Canadian nhl player when at the time over 50% of the nhl was Canadian but to excel at a sport where he not only was the best Canadian he was also hall of fame worthy in a sports when you can count the number of Canadian basketball players on your fingers... He'll other than Nash we still only have wiggins to keep Canada's name in the sport

      Nikson Kho But you need to realize that Nasg wanted to play, he wanted to give his 110% but he can't because he is too old and gets injured, he was excited, but he won't play never again, he was a pleasure to watch

      A.R.S Moves of course. but let's be real, all he's doing now is getting the rest of the money LA owes him. and while his injuries are unfortunate, it doesn't change the fact he's done nothing for the Lakers, whether he wanted/wants to play or not
