I needed to see how you put the Window Glazing in... Hope there's a video somewhere that actually shows that procedure !
Plus....where do you get new RV window glazing material ?

Meticulous job as usual... it's always amazing to see how much thought you put into each project. I wonder how much you'd have to pay a "profesional" to replace that seal and would the work have been half the quality of your work. I enjoy watching.

Great tutorial! I’m saving up to buy replacement rubber seal for my Motorhome windows. I can only find one supplier and they charge $4.95 per foot !!!!!!! FYIs, there are at least two sizes, 1/2” and 9/16” so be sure to measure your old seal before ordering.

Good job Steve..if you want a job done right, most of the time it's best to do it yourself..last Thursday I changed the engine oil and filter with some expensive synthetic oil and filter..Friday I took my van to a very large Dodge dealer to have a safety inspection and a grease job..when they had finished they informed me that they had changed the oil and filter as well..needless to say, I won't be taking my van back there again.

I wish that you has shown the installation of the glazing strip. You stated that you used soapy water on it, but I wonder if it goes in so easily. Also, what is the proper name for the gasket that goes on the outside of the window and inside the outer glazing strip. Finally, where can these glazing products be found?

Hi Steve! I'm working on the front window on my truck camper and am having an impossible time finding the window glazing gasket. It seems like you reference 2 different "glazing" items- the tape and the gasket. In the beginning of this vid (0:55) you show rubber window glazing. Where did you order that from and how did you figure out the right stuff to get? I've been calling RV shops all over WA and am coming up empty handed. Thanks for the vids you post!

I have a similar older camper van I wanted to fix up, and was wondering where you gain those wonderful skills and insight into what to do and how to approach each of the problems you had solved? I would like to be able to do stuff like this myself too. I love watching your videos so I can get ideas, but where in the world did you learn how to do all this? Did you watch similar videos on UA-cam? Do you have books or magazines you read on car detailing and RV repair? The solar panel job was especially inspiring.
