  • In this video, I show you the replacement of the main rubber seal on a Winnebago single pain slider window. This same window has been used by Winnebago for many years, so it should work for many current models as well as models that are several years old.
The standard window seal that is sold by Pellant and Heher will likely not fit (they did not fit for me). You can call Kinro Windows (Parkin Accessories) 1-800-637-8938 for the best price, and will be half the cost of Winnebago.

We have the same RV just year 2022. I watch and rewatch your videos frequently. It's incredibly helpful that you take the time to share, in detail, what you figure out and do. I am so grateful to you! I'm working up the courage to attemp more of your ideas.

Thanks very much for your super videos. Several of your recent ones have been particularly useful for my 2020 Navion V. Your DIY installments should be a Primer for any Winnebago View/Navion owners.

Seriously dude, I have never done this type of repair and you think the boring part is the part I'd love to see. Properly inserting the trim into the window frame, how did you handle the curves, etc.? Thanks for showing how to mark the end with a Sharpie. At least you explained about compressing it to allow for shrinkage. That and the info on the sample pack and where to look for the window manufacturer where the only useful information.

Yeah I don't realize some times what's simple and boring for me may not be the same for others. Installing it is pretty simple. You literally squish it in with your fingers including the curved part. What you can do for practice is pull up part of the end section of your existing trim a couple of inches, and then snap (squish) it back down. You will see how easy it is.

I watch and appreciate all your videos. Do you have a Truma water heater? If so had you have to replace door or fix where straps attached. Th ks

Thank you. Yes I have the Truma water heater. I bent the metal lock flat bar out so it creates more friction when you twist the plastic handle. I noticed from day one that the plastic handle opened too easily and by bending the flat bar, the tight friction fixed the problem. I didn't document many items as l wasn't ever planning on making videos. Next time I plan on documenting better so it can help out others.

Litterally skipped the only important part…. Actually installing it….

Not sure most people like seeing the boring details. In this case, there is no technique on installing it. You just push the trim in. If you can remove it, you will be able to install it. The most critical is getting an exact match on the trim.
