- Re-glazing my RV windows on my 1989 Toyota Dolphin motorhome. I found if your glazing has began to shrink you can soak the rv glazing in hot soapy water for a few minutes and stretch it back out. I also used 303 spray to help keep them in working order and to keep them from shrinking again! Links on where I ordered my glazing sample kit below, BUT I would def. recommend trying to stretch them with hot soapy water first! I got almost 2 inches of length back!

I Ordered the “Yellow Dot” KRV08523 for my 1989 Toyota Dolphin, the sample kit is only 6 bucks, might as well double check!
Here is the spray I used - 303 Protectant Spray - amzn.to/3NJzGpz - Розваги
Thank you so much!! Finding the right products for these old motorhomes is sometimes impossible! Appreciate the link for the glazing!
Pour the 303 into a shallow pan, enough to cover the trim. Roll up the trim piece and soak it in the 303 for an hour. When done, pour the 303 back into the bottle. No waste like there is spraying it. Good for wiper blades too. Just use the clear wiper package to fill with 303. Been doing this for years. The only time I spray it, is on tires. Not in direct sunlight, Let it have time to soak in.
Will the glazing shrink in time?
Just took down a 2002 Trail-lite R-Vision B+ to a window repair dealer in our itty bitty town of 3,000 in NW MT. They recommended we or they could try to STRETCH it like you and then add drops of glue to the ends to prevent reshrinking up. Also if we order new gasket they would add a drop of glue to each of those ends when they install or we should if we DIY. So they also said they would not charge us much to do the three windows we have that definitely need new. One window has two gaps which means it probably split into two pieces though once was surly a single wrap around piece. I feel the rubber is a bit old and showing signs of needing replaced. The glue will not sure what glue you should use. I didn't ask. But it has to be something that works well with rubber. HMMMM????? good job and great video. Tell your daughter she did great camera work. Anyway I bought end of January. Got it home in wicked MT winter so we bought a new cover for it to protect her until we warmed up enough and was past the wet season spring often into summer too. So it's an iffy year with going from dead of winter that's running late right into 80's and then back to wet cold spring for 2 weeks and now back to the 80's. Covers off. And much work needs doing. Finding videos like yours is most helpful. I'd be fine with white gasket on my windows. Black is original and much looking like yours. Probably same stuff. Thanks again for posting and sharing.
Good job there! I always used Armorial on my VW, 30 years and the rubber seal around the windows still was good, plus the dashboard etc. Thanks to your daughter, tell her she did a good job for dad! ;) I hope you all have fun in it where ever you go ;) † ♥
We will have to do this too. The once rubber seal on most of our windows is hard as a rock, does that seem for normal for it being so old?
Some parts of mine are harder than others, you being in Cali maybe cooked them a bit more 🤷♂️ as longs as there’s no gaps or leaks I’d roll with it.
what was the name of company that sends samples of glazing and the name of the spray
Linked in description
need the enterprise company name you mentioned in video
I would like to find it on google
@@glennnegler6026 4:32 google the name then. What’s the big deal?
what is the name?
That isnt the glazing. That is the weather stripping. The glazing is how the windows are kept together and keeping the moisture out from between the two panes
Doh!! My bad.
It is called "Window Glazing Bead"
Thanks god bless
