Anyone who watches this video needs to know, you should always replace the gasket with a new one if you are not experienced. He did something that a more experienced person would do. Replace the valve cover gasket and spark tube o-rings with NEW Rubber gaskets.
I have a 95 honda accord and it revs itself when its on park, and I also checked and it has oil inside the spark plugs. That would also be the cause of itself revving correct? Asking a friend
@@JeffsAuto re placed the valve cover gasket cleaned it real good, made sure it set properly. Added new spark plugs and wires. And it helped out alot it doesn't really do it now. Only in cold starts. After its warm it kinda starts to go away. Think I should replace that?
The reason it's leaking is because your lower spark plug tube o-rings have gone bad. You need to remove the rocker arm assembly and you'll find them underneath. Honda chanced this design and fixed the issue on later models. What you did most likely wont fix your issue.
I agree. Why not just replace the gasket while it’s apart? And I never just go wiping internals down with a nasty ass shop rag. And I definitely don’t just throw silicon on something instead of just replacing the gaskets. I was putting a new water pump on my accord and noticed that the timing belt was brand new. Who replaces the timing belt without changing the water pump too? Lol I swear people are lazy as hell

I think it may be the idle air control valve may be sticking.

I followed all your steps. Turned on the car and started leaking oil back under timing belt

Is there a order on how to put the nuts back on the valve cover
Luis Barajas no but it is best to tighten them evenly
This guy probably glued his whole motor back together with that RTV silicone gasket maker. Wtf??
Absolutely do not follow the instructions in this video. It is pure evident that this man does not know what he is doing.
