- In this video I show a 14-meter-long model railway diorama on a scale of 1to32 that Walter Smit from the Netherlands presented at the end of June 2024 in the Ampflwang Locomotive Park (Lokpark Ampflwang) on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the ÖGEG (Austrian Society for Railway History). The impressive gauge 1 modular system called "Braubach" consists of segments that are usually 1.2 meters wide and have a depth of between 50 centimeters and 1.4 meters. Guest locomotives were also in use on the system on all three days. For example, in my video recordings in the late afternoon of June 29, 2024, a newly arrived pre-production model of the class 24 from Bee's Modellbahn (BMB), which is about to be delivered, was used - in Epoch II version with "photo paint". My video also shows a class 50 from KM1 Modellbau and a Kö(f) II from Steiner Modellwerke, both of which are no longer available from the manufacturer.
The lovingly designed system does not have a specific model, but is partly based on models. For example, the largely original station building in Braubach at the Rhine was located on the former narrow-gauge railway line "Nassauische Kleinbahn". The terminal station with a single locomotive shed and segment turntable is a mirror image of the station area in Klütz in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The system is operated with an ECoS digital control center from ESU and with Mobile Control II radio handheld controllers from ESU that can be operated via an app, as well as with tablet computers.

Eine ganz tolle Anlage überzeugend in Szene gesetzt.
Ja, die Anlage war wunderschön und es hat mir Spaß gemacht, die Züge im Einsatz zu sehen ... auch die als Gastfahrzeug ein wenig gefahrene Lokomotive im seinerzeitigen "Fotografieranstrich" zur Lokauslieferung hat durchaus ihren optischen Reiz.
die Köf ist ja ein richtiger Schnellstarter 😏 - aber sonst , tolle Anlage , liebevollst gestaltet - und natürlich vom Meister wieder wunderbar in Szene gesetzt und kommentiert ! Alle Daumen hoch 👍👍👍
Der Schnellstart hing auch ein wenig vom Lokfüherer ab 😏
This never gets old... so lifelike... absolutely love the open lock shed, so the interior can be seen.. And yes the photography that besides close ups also shows an overview of the whole installation.... - often in video's like this overviews are omitted & too much focus on close ups, but not with Peter...

Schön dass man endlich mal ein Serienmodell der BR 24 sieht und hört. Allerdings finde ich den Dampfgenerator was schwach. Der sound ist aber toll! Muss eh mal sehen wie sehr ich meinen Keller "vollölen" lassen werde ;-) Meine ist grad bei Michiel Stolp. 😊 Freue mich schon tierisch drauf!!!
Ja, ich fand es auch toll, dass ich auf der faszinierenden Diorama-Anlage von Walter Smit auch das Vorab-Serienmuster der 24 sehen, hören und filmen konnte. Laut BMB hat es leider beim Zoll massive Verzögerungen gegeben. Auch wird wohl von der BMB-Technik auf Basis der Vorführfahrten in Ampflwang noch eine kleine Verbesserung im Decoder vorgenommen.
Übrigens: Ich durfte ja schon im Mai 2023 das allererste Handmuster nach der "Bearbeitung" durch Michiel Stolp ein weiteres mal filmen ... aber halt damals noch mit dem alten Sound. Hier der Link zum Preview-Video mit dem patinierten Handmuster:

@@PeterPernsteiner Ja, habe gestern eine Mail bekommen, in der die Info über die Verzögerung beim Zoll sehr ausführlich dargelegt wurde. Aber toll dass solche Infos von BMB selber OHNE Nachfrage der Kunden herausgeschickt werden. Naja, dann wird es eben ein Weihnachtsgeschenk... 😉
