Yeah,, 😢 Best four days of my life was the first four. born 11/20 and he passed 11/24. i feel honored that i was, a newborn, but alive with him even just for bit
They were playing the song on the loud speakers, and the fans started singing along. I have relatives living in GB and they say this is practically their national anthem.
you would be correct. To expand on this... I don't know when I learned about this song. It's just always been there and I've always known the lyrics. You play borhap anywhere in public and you'll end up with a crowd singing. I'd say more people know borhap by heart than the national anthem (well, england's anyway. I'm from Wales , I know my own)
Sing this drunk at the pub and you’ll end up with the whole pub singing it, kids today think todays music is good but in 20 years time it will be forgotten, Freddy will still be there
Bohemian Rhapsody? Definitely! Wonderwall? Only for people of a certain age, who rate Oasis far too highly. Mr Brightside??? Not in the slightest. I'm betting 98% don't even know the track and 99%+ don't know the lyrics. :)
I have experienced the British love for this song. A few years ago I was in London and one night we went to a random pub close to where we were staying. Bohemian Rhapsody started playing and EVERYONE got up to sing along..young and old. That was one of my greatest experiences ever
I don't know why, but this always makes me cry. Maybe it's because I saw Freddie live with Queen one time. 1986 in Muinich, I was 13 and it was my first concert and I will never forget that day until I die.
Glad you liked it...something totally different...I like to think that Freddie is looking down, really pleased with this impromptu performance. This happened in 2017...42 years after Bohemian Rhapsody was first released...Freddie Mercury wrote this song....the everlasting power of Freddie and Queen❤️🤩
Only Freddie can control a crowd 26 years after his death. RIP dear Freddie !!! The Green Day band members are huge Queen fans. They play the soundtrack to Bohemian Rhapsody before every concert...... This is 42 years after Bohemian Rhapsody was released. That's a testament to the power of this song and love of Freddie.....
They just finished their European tour. But yes, the clouds spread and Freddie was smiling down on them.☮ Thank you for reacting to Great Britain's 2nd National Anthem.
You know you wrote something magnificent when people sing your song after more then 35years and it's still epic. Freddie would be so proud. This is beautiful 😊
Freddie performing miracles long after his passing... and to think those singing were probably not even BORN before that song came out to the world of music... utterly amazing!! Blessings.
It just doesn’t get any better than this, the whole crowd sang it with the same passion exactly like Freddie did in every performance. I know Freddie was hearing this from the heavens. This crowd was amazing. Music can always bring people together. As Freddie would say “BRAVO DARLINGS” 👏👏
I always add the “all right” in when I’m singing at the top of my lunges. God bless you dear Freddie. You gave us all such a fabulous gift with all your beautiful music and talent. We love and miss you very much ❣️🇬🇧
This is what makes Queen the greatest band of all time..... The audience for a concert by a different band, they know all the words and love it enough to sing their hearts out......❤️🇬🇧
This is maybe the 10th or so reaction of this i have watched... it gives me goose bumps everytime.. this is so amazing... They know all the words.. dude.. this is practically Britains 2nd national anthem
I live in the US Midwest (lots of farms) and I’ve known all the words since 1975. 😂 Thank you Brits for sharing these guys with us-we’re all the better for it! ❤
I cannot watch that without the tears. Both happy and sad tears. Sad that the world is a darker place without him. But happy that we were blessed with him in the first place… and that he’s getting the mad respect that he deserves. Goddamn…. Freddie would have LOVED that. ❤️
Same! I cried when he died. I cry when I watch this. I do hope he was looking down and could still feel the love we still have in our hearts for this fabulous man. One of the true greats for sure. Taken before his time because he was too big to be controlled. His death was very strange. I believe he was murdered ☹️❣️🇬🇧
65,000 of them drowning out the speakers. And did you notice them all jumping dueing the rock portion (so you think you can spit it my eye)? There is a video of this from the audience perspective (not full length) but a great tandem to watching this.
This was one of those songs growing up that everyone in you grew up with knew the words to. You have to wonder what Green Day were thinking backstage. And from what I understand it is now a thing at concerts whenever Bohemian Rhapsody comes on the crowd sings it.
This is in Queen's home town, London. In the U.K. this is more or less an unofficial national anthem. I don't know anyone who doesn't know it well enough to be able to sing along.
... and Freddie Mercury had to FIGHT his record company to release this song. They didn't want to touch it. Record companies wanted same same, not creativity
I'm a little late to the party but for what it's worth - I was in the crowd, Hyde Park London 2017, 65,000 people. & it was as special as you think it was.
Powerful doesn’t even come close. This is 25 years after Freddie Mercury died and 40 years after Queen released the song. There isn’t another band in history that could get 60,000 people to sing word for word one of their songs 40 years after it was released at another bands concert. This is not just powerful. This is what immortality looks like.
FABULOUS JUST FABULOUS. I'VE SEEN THIS A MILLION TIMES AND GREEN DAY DESERVE A MEDAL FOR DOING THIS! I RECKON THIS SHOULD BE DONE AT ANY CONCERT ALL THE TIME. WE DON'T NEED WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION, JUST THIS WOULD BE ENOUGH TO PUT PEOPLE IN THEIR PLACE......SPECTACULAR.
Look at the sky…. Like heavens gates are open… Freddy was such a master at entertaining, all these years later his spirit and the memories are enough to get a crowd to sing together just like in 1985 at live aid…. Rock in peace Freddy… we still love you.
A sound tech put this song on while the stage was getting set up for Green Day. When the crowd started singing, Green Day refused to take the stage until the song was over.
Thank you for your remark about it being sad in a way…it sure was! But Freddie was very sick by then and still pushed on and performed a performance of a lifetime. That makes it t sad as well because his days here on earth were numbered. But as you said it was beautiful too with the crowd stretching to the horizon on a beautiful sunny day. Cool part about that- that is a substantial, truly lasting, gift, the song. The song that Freddie wrote, that they knew all the words to. That can’t be lost. I wish Freddie were here to enjoy all this attention he’s getting decades later, after his death after he’s sung his last song. I know he would love it!
As a rock fan you just know this song. I've never been a fan of Queen (also I totally appreciate what they did for music), but I still could sing along to this masterpiece. Greetings from Germany
They play music in the interval and when this came on,this happened. ❣️🇬🇧. It’s basically law in the U.K.! You have to sing when you hear this,it’s impossible not to! I have been watching these reactions all week now and I’m crying everytime. This was in Hyde Park, the biggest in London. When this or “come on Eileen” in a British pub it’s law to get up and sing and dance! Much love and prayers to you from London U.K. Grandma ❣️🇬🇧 x. We love you still Freddie ☹️❣️🇬🇧
I’m an oldie who got to see Queen live 4 times, what amazes me here is this song was released 48 years ago and that wonderful crowd wasn’t even born when I had the privilege of seeing Freddie sing it! Well done kids! And well done to generations for passing it on and embracing it as we did!
I can see Freddy watching from above. With tears in his eyes and feeling so loved by this. He made such a strong impact on everyone in the world. He was a inspiration, without even knowing it. He will live on forever in our hearts.
Queen, Freddie, and "Bohemian Rhapsody" are classic and timeless. Apparently, Green Day plays the song as a crowd warm up while they're finishing their set up and backstage preps. What I love is the crowd even does the "heah" like Freddie.
6 minutes ago As a Brit you grow up hearing Queen! It’s in the blood. My sons first full “grown up movie” at the cinema was Bohemian Rhapsody xx 👑🎸❤️🎸👑 You should react to Phil Collins In the air tonight live in Paris & AC/DC Highway to Hell live at River Plate, two more phenomenal performances 🔥
That film saved my mum's life she went to watch it at a pop up pictures had a massive heart attack (cardiac arrest) from a blood clout luckily half the doctors from a local hospital went to see it that night too
I can still remember seeing Harry Styles 2022 concert, his crowd began to sing Queen's songs while waiting for him to come up on stage. And the crowd was soooo loud while singing I think at least 2 to 3 Queen songs until Harry finally shows up on stage. It also happens in Germany and Argentina where there's no one on stage but the hundreds of thousands of ppl are singing Queen songs. Oh, the BTS also immitate Freddie's chants for the crowd on their own concert. QUEEN IS ALREADY A LEGEND. FREDDIE MERCURY I'M ONLY 19 BUT I'M SO IN LOVE WITH YOU.
Every British person knows every word to this song, Queen is the crown and Freddy is the jewel on top, forget the Beatles and stones, they are the greatest band in the history of the world
Queen: the only band that can put on a concert without showing up...Freddie was the Queen of them all...
beautifully put my friend
Have watched this so many times, it gives you goose bumps, considering most of them weren't born when Freddie was alive.
Literally got goose bumps in the intro reading the comments
Yeah,, 😢 Best four days of my life was the first four. born 11/20 and he passed 11/24. i feel honored that i was, a newborn, but alive with him even just for bit
Freddie controled the crowd even from above. He was, is and always be the best
❤
[Freddie in Eternity] "Well done Darlin."
Bro reading these comments not even through the intro I got goose bumps Freddie was and is such a fucking legend
And at another bands concert. A man only dies when he's forgotten.
If you are a Brit then you are born knowing this rhapsody! My son was introduced to this in the womb!!
Was it good womb service though?
So true its in our dna too know queen songs word for word
Girl so we’re Americans!
There are few things that make me proud of this country but this is one of them
I'm pretty sure that this song is slowly infiltrating our DNA.
They were playing the song on the loud speakers, and the fans started singing along. I have relatives living in GB and they say this is practically their national anthem.

Bohemian Rhapsody , Mr Brightside and Wonderwall are our National songs 😂 Don’t ask me the words to the ACTUAL National anthem though because 😅
Bohemian Rhapsody? Definitely! Wonderwall? Only for people of a certain age, who rate Oasis far too highly. Mr Brightside??? Not in the slightest. I'm betting 98% don't even know the track and 99%+ don't know the lyrics. :)
@Codex7777
I'm not sure about those songs either, but sweet Caroline's a popular one for a crowd to sing!
ONLY Freddie Mercury could get a crowd going decades after he left this earth. ❤️🎶❤️
I have experienced the British love for this song. A few years ago I was in London and one night we went to a random pub close to where we were staying. Bohemian Rhapsody started playing and EVERYONE got up to sing along..young and old. That was one of my greatest experiences ever
Isn't this just amazing? Something tells me Freddie heard this.💞
Right!🙏🏾
Heard it. he was conducting.
I don't know why, but this always makes me cry. Maybe it's because I saw Freddie live with Queen one time. 1986 in Muinich, I was 13 and it was my first concert and I will never forget that day until I die.
It was definitely a moment to be remembered🤘🏽, but he is still with us 4sure
Glad you liked it...something totally different...I like to think that Freddie is looking down, really pleased with this impromptu performance. This happened in 2017...42 years after Bohemian Rhapsody was first released...Freddie Mercury wrote this song....the everlasting power of Freddie and Queen❤️🤩
Sir Brian, Roger and John must have absolutely loved seeing this!
Great reaction. Freddie was up there. Conducting the audience. I'm glad the younger generation is loving QUEEN as much as we did growing up with them
Right. I think his sound will last forever🔥
Yeah UK fans are unmatched
Facts 💯
They just finished their European tour. But yes, the clouds spread and Freddie was smiling down on them.☮ Thank you for reacting to Great Britain's 2nd National Anthem.
Actuallymorepopular than the National Anthem respectfully.
You know you wrote something magnificent when people sing your song after more then 35years and it's still epic. Freddie would be so proud. This is beautiful 😊
Apparently Freddie Mercury wondered if he'd be remembered! He'll never be forgotten.
This made me cry the first time I saw this. Even the scenery is perfect.
This is just an example of the power of music..... bringing people together..
I imagine Freddie leaning from heaven listening to it all and probably conducting and at the end shouts through the universe "ALL RIGHT."
ALLLL RIGHT!!!!!!💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
I always add the “all right” in when I’m singing at the top of my lunges. God bless you dear Freddie. You gave us all such a fabulous gift with all your beautiful music and talent. We love and miss you very much ❣️🇬🇧
Everyone here in the UK loves Freddie and Queen!!!!! xxx RIP Freddie.
This is what makes Queen the greatest band of all time..... The audience for a concert by a different band, they know all the words and love it enough to sing their hearts out......❤️🇬🇧
this is just awesome, Queen take over a Greenday concert
Crowd - pitch perfect. Super timing. Freddie is still the master.
Freddie would have loved this so much!!!❤️❤️❤️
it's like the biggest flash mob in the world, awesome!!!!!
I hope Green Day is backstage listening to this and feeling humbled by the power of Queen, so many years after the release of this song!
The video is from Green Day's own channel.
Oh they are! We all appreciate the power of Freddie! ❣️🇬🇧
Green day played this right before coming on stage to get the crowd going mad you absolute incel
over 30 years since freddie died.. and a while new generation are discovering and loving queen.
I cannot watch that without the tears. Both happy and sad tears. Sad that the world is a darker place without him. But happy that we were blessed with him in the first place… and that he’s getting the mad respect that he deserves. Goddamn…. Freddie would have LOVED that. ❤️

This speaks to the love people felt for Freddie and what a force Queen was and is even now
A Green Day audience in the U.K. singing along with the PA. It’s obligatory for everyone in the U.K. to know this song. Been no.1 a few times.
It should be part of the citizenship test
LEGEND!!!PURE GOLD!!! AWESOME REACTION!!🙏👏
Here's to you Freddie.
65,000 of them drowning out the speakers. And did you notice them all jumping dueing the rock portion (so you think you can spit it my eye)? There is a video of this from the audience perspective (not full length) but a great tandem to watching this.
Next year that song will be 50 years old. Look at all these young people still loving on it.
This was one of those songs growing up that everyone in you grew up with knew the words to. You have to wonder what Green Day were thinking backstage. And from what I understand it is now a thing at concerts whenever Bohemian Rhapsody comes on the crowd sings it.
Wow 🥰 so Freddie to control the crowd even when he is gone for so long ❤️ Freddie Mercury ❤️
Freddie's sure looked down smiling and giving a thumbs up ... GREAT ... Good music never loses its magic ...
This is in Queen's home town, London. In the U.K. this is more or less an unofficial national anthem. I don't know anyone who doesn't know it well enough to be able to sing along.
Does anyone get emotional hearing them all sing it together
Yes! ❣️🇬🇧 I’m bawling at every reaction video. They murdered Freddie because he was too big for them to control. 100%
... and Freddie Mercury had to FIGHT his record company to release this song. They didn't want to touch it. Record companies wanted same same, not creativity
It's in our DNA, everyone has heard/sang/cried
I'm a little late to the party but for what it's worth - I was in the crowd, Hyde Park London 2017, 65,000 people. & it was as special as you think it was.

He was true talent. I saw him at Wembley, Something I will never forget.
if you're gonna play queen to a british crowd you're gonna get everyone going
no matter your age queen is in our blood
Look at the sky…. Like heavens gates are open… Freddy was such a master at entertaining, all these years later his spirit and the memories are enough to get a crowd to sing together just like in 1985 at live aid…. Rock in peace Freddy… we still love you.

Well damn it. That made me cry. I’ve never heard this version of it. That was absolutely beautiful. 😭
Love this, looks like Freddie is looking down on them from the skies on top left...how proud would Freddie feel. An icon and a legendary song.
Right! Exactly. Definitely a great moment.
Thank you for your remark about it being sad in a way…it sure was! But Freddie was very sick by then and still pushed on and performed a performance of a lifetime. It's our other national anthem to our other Queen
As a rock fan you just know this song. I've never been a fan of Queen (also I totally appreciate what they did for music), but I still could sing along to this masterpiece.
Greetings from Germany
I’m so glad you reacted to this. First time I saw/heard this was someone else reacting to it and I was blown away!!!!!!! It is just so powerful 💕
Yeah this will be one of those reactions I hold onto for along time🤘🏽🤘🏽
They play music in the interval and when this came on,this happened. ❣️🇬🇧. It’s basically law in the U.K.! You have to sing when you hear this,it’s impossible not to! Powerful....Freddie be proud....
That sky! You just know that Freddie is leading them.
The power of one song!!!!!
The concert is in the Uk, so hopefully all British should know all words to a Queen song
I can see Freddy watching from above. With tears in his eyes and feeling so loved by this. He made such a strong impact on everyone in the world. He was a inspiration, without even knowing it. He will live on forever in our hearts.
TY for the wonderful reaction!
Still gives me chills. Great reaction, thanks!
Dont know why dont know where it comes from but….everytime i hear this song, feels like every tears i have pumped up from nowhere😭😭😭
Only Freddy could take over another concert, Legend 🔥🔥👏👏❤️
that was crazy ... it wasn't even a Queen concert ... Freddie would be proud.
Queen stole the show and they weren't even there. That's really something.
Queen, Freddie, and "Bohemian Rhapsody" are classic and timeless. Apparently, Green Day plays the song as a crowd warm up while they're finishing their set up and backstage preps. What I love is the crowd even does the "heah" like Freddie.
Good old freddie ,queen classic
That was awesome 🔥🔥
Freddie would have been so proud!!
These are not Queen fans - this is done at every Green Day concert, anywhere in the world!
pure joy. yup. simple, pure, JOY!
FREDDIE LIVES! still - and ain't that aMAZing!
💕ya baby - keep up the good work, your reactions are fun 🌻
Your smile! 😊❤️
This video made me believe in humanity again when I first saw it. I only wish I were there. Love Green Day and Queen. Much love from Florida.
This was 40 years after the song was released. Talk about longevity!!!
GOOSEBUMPS!!!!
And this is Immortality
You asked how? Power of music baby.
Freddie woulda loved this.

For the love of Queen......
Every English person knows this song word for word
99% of people in the UK know every word, every syllable, every nuance, of this masterpiece! lol. It's an unofficial national anthem! :)
Every British person knows every word to this song, Queen is the crown and Freddy is the jewel on top, forget the Beatles and stones, they are the greatest band in the history of the world
I believe Green Day did this in every venue on the Hella Mega tour.
Sometimes an artist graces this world with their presence. Elvis. Freddie Mercury. Prince. Meatloaf. Their music lives forever.
Meatloaf???? 🥴
Green Day: Ok.... so we have to follow that??
Freddie must have had a great day i heaven.❤
Sometimes when the power fails in Australian concerts we, the audience takes over to keep the spirit going
Did you notice at 02:49 when the crowd signs "Sent shivers down my spine" the left cymbal shakes, almost as if in tribute?
Only, Queen. Not even there, but still rockin'..
At the start the cloud looks bit like Freddie . Amazing to think even when he’s sadly been gone so long his music lives on .
I believe they're singing this after the opening act and before Green Day comes on stage and every Green Day concert
This is played on the PA pre show at every gig I have ever been to. We always sing along. This is our anthem in Britain.
Welcome to British people doing what they do
