Nice to see people still working on this bike,i just changed the stock tires on mine to the 450's tires and they make a huge difference the bike is more flikable and agile than I expected it to be
Love your content Abhishek.. just wanted to ask , after the tubeless conversion does the adjustment or tightening of the spokes become a problem? I am planning to convert my scrambler into a tubeless set up and is this something i should worry about? Should i instead go for cross spoke rims (which are very very expensive, and I haven't seen great reviews regarding it's quality online) , expecting a reply.
The cross spoke rims of the 450 aren’t compatible with 411. The spokes can be adjusted but it should be done carefully so as to not pierce the way2speed coating. If it gets pierced, you can cut out that particular portion and reapply the solution, wait for it to set and it’ll be good to go
@@AbhishekDaniel Awesome mate ! Mine's not a 411 scram it's a yezdi scrambler.. 450s tubeless spokes aren't compatible with my bike . Hi Abhishek, back here to bother you again, wanted to check, my friend is selling his old 450 rims as he has upgraded to tubeless rims, can I directly install his old tubeless compatible rims on my 411?? No need of any spokes removal etc?? And if required i can get the tubeless conversion done in the future?
@AbhishekDaniel got it. And currently I have Reise TrailR and ceat stock, I know from the video that it needs the ktm adv 390 rear profile? The front will need to be changed too?? P.S really appreciate your patience and prompt response, very grateful🙏🤘
@@Thehimalayanvigilante front can be used but rear needs to be changed. The rear stock is too narrow for the aluminium rims. So ktm profile fits best. For tubeless front, only Himalayan 450 CEAT stock tyres are available in the market right now. As a suggestion, I’d recommend you go with similar profile tyres in the front and back. TrailR is more off road biased and CEAT stock is more road biased. It’ll cost stability issues esp on high speeds, cornering and braking.

Hi, I have two questions: 1. From where did you order the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 Aluminium rims? 2. Where did you get the wheel assembly (Spoke+Rims+Hub) done ? In the video, you have not mentioned anything about spoke and rim assembly.
I have heard that spokes direction are different when installing on 450 rims no local mechanic in my area is confident in doing so i guess ill have to wait....
Hey, Abhishek. A few questions for you. Do Topgear Thumpers provide any warranty for the tubeless conversion? Afaik they don't. Also, once you place the order, do they handle the procurement of the rims from RE? And lastly, how did the whole process take?
No one gives warranty for tubeless conversion 😅 Yes they will procure the rims, way2speed solution and the tyre. The solution takes about 1 week to dry. That’s how long the entire process takes.
@@AbhishekDaniel Thanks for the response. I have visited Topgear Thumpers multiple times but I never had the opportunity to meet with Bhusan. I would love to have his inputs on my bike.

Nope. Tubeless cross spoke rims of the 450 won’t fit on the 411. You have to get the regular aluminium spoke tube rims and get it converted to tubeless.

Also now with the tubeless rims coming from royal enfield, is it possible come into possession of it as a himalayan 411 owner??
The front tyre profile of both bikes are same. The rear rim from the 450 is wider than the 411. So the stock 120/90 won’t fit. You’ll have to go for the 130/80 KTM ADV profile tyre. The tubeless cross spoke rims aren’t compatible with 411

Hi, I have ordered 450 rims for my 411 himmy, my question is can I use my current tyres as it is on new rims with tubes for now? Currently Im running on reise moto front and back(120/70). Can you please clarify this
Front you can. But rear I think the rim is too wide for 120/90 stock size. So either you have to go for 140 size which will be too wide for 411. So the sweet spot would be 130/80 17 which is the stock KTM ADV tyre size
Two issues. one. the profile of the rear tyre is different. broader and lower profile. this will cause two issues . cornering the bike needs to be tilted more and rim will take more hits . two. ground clearance is reduced by 10 mm.
@@AbhishekDaniel 10mm wider tyre will make a small difference as you say, but tyre ratio 10 mm will change the dynamics a lot. you will have to go slower over rocks or rim will take bigger hits. slower on corners. Many Himalayan 450's I have seen have bent rims already . your tubeles efforts will go for a toss with even a slight dent in the rim.
@@regorohan haha lol 😂 with these tyres I’m going way faster in trails than ever! And these rim bents you are talking about are 99% due to improper tyre pressures.
