Yes
@AbhishekDaniel okay👍🏼
Which bike do u like more? Re or triumph?
Both are good in its own ways. Himalayan is better for off road and relaxed riding. Scrambler is better on road and for spirited riding
What's the best month to visit umlingla to see a bit of snow?
April/May and September/October will be a good time

Reise Trail R tyres on the Scrambler, Reise TouR rear and CEAT front on the Himalayan and KTM Adventure 390 mirrors on both
Just one doubt, Why all the vlogging videos have different kind of filters, just asking. Btw keep doing nice 👍
I’ve been trying to come up with a good one to use in all my videos. So every video is an experiment. But in general it’s the same colour tone throughout the series
I like how your favourite hindi phrase is "aaraam se"
😂
After installing CAM you have to tweak the air flow mixture by ECU mapping as yours is Fi engine. I have installed TEC CAM on 2016 Carbureted Himi.. The power difference before & After is totally evident, as in case of carburetor (Mechanically Dumb) with little tuning it is working brilliantly, a stock Himi will feel underpowered after riding my Himi the one with TEC CAM...!
After this video I did install the Powertronics and dynotuned it. I barely got a 2bhp increase in power and 3nm of torque. IRL it isn’t even noticeable except that fueling issues were sorted after it. Mine is a BS6 and it’s severely restricted by pollution norms. BS3 Himalayans are the best since it’s much more tweakable and lighter. It’ll make use of the cam better.
@AbhishekDaniel check with @ontwoheelben and get the map he is been using. After watching his review i got TEC CAM installed, around 20 -25% power increase is evident as i have felt on my BS3 himi..
Is it possible to travel to Umling la in March end. I am planning to ride to Umling la
It might be covered in snow. I think it’s better to go by April. It’ll all depend on the current weather situation which keep fluctuating daily

Is it manageable for your height in bumper to bumper traffic bro. It will be helpful if you give your real time insight
Skill up with off road training and height won’t be an issue even in traffic
Another good video, the last shot from Hanle of the milkyway is spectacular. How are you and Doc managing fuel? Are you carrying extra fuel
Yes we carried 10L of extra fuel in two jerry cans mounted on either side of Himalayan’s front frame.
Do you think these upgrades would feel the same way without a decated exhaust system?
I installed a decated exhaust system after this video. I even installed TEC cam, a piggy back ECU and dynotuned it. Apart from the engine becoming smoother and slightly more responsive, there isn’t any noticeable increase in acceleration or top speed.
@@AbhishekDaniel I see. The main reason why I'm thinking to install these upgrades on my bike (speed 400) is because I wanna feel a bit more pull in the mid range, not in numbers but the feel, how did your himalyan feel while cruising?
@ Speed is an excellent bike in itself. I don’t think you should modify it in any way. If you want more low and mid range maybe you can try the 14t front sprocket from the Scrambler. Yes my Himalayan was comfortable to cruise at its top speed after all the modifications.
I am planning to get Scrambler 400x and am not that big fan of auxiliary lights as well. This product will fit perfectly to my thought process and solve all the issues related to the headlight Thanks for suggesting this product. I will keep an eye on it when i get the bike for sure. Nope
Thank you for sitting away from camera

Good for pulsar 180cc?
I’m not sure what grade pulsar engine requires but if it’s the same grade then it’s good to try
@AbhishekDaniel pulsar manual required 20w50 grade
@ then don’t change the grade. Maybe if you can find the same grade in motul, then try it

Yes
@AbhishekDaniel any tyre pressure issues? Any major or minor issues?

Since you spent more than 6 months on the bike, I wanted to ask if you replaced the organic brake pad for sintered- and if you got anything more like a side stand foot extender and fork seal savers. Thanks for the video.
Check out my review video of Scrambler. I have answered the brake question in it. Yes i have got a side stand foot extender and fork seal savers only for Ladakh trip. And Reise TrailR tyres too
2:17 ohh venda😂
😂
Bhai stand little bit away from camera… looks creepy
Okay Saar
I did this in 2021 and there were almost no people who did this. THere were no roads, no indication, just follow army truck tyre marks. In 23, most of the roads were made in dirt and flattened. In 24 (Nov 24), almost 40% is tarmac and by end of 25 this entire route will be tarmac.
Yes exactly. Those who want to enjoy off road should go to Ladakh in the next 2 years max. After that there’ll be Tarmac everywhere 😅

Hi Abhishek, back here to bother you again, wanted to check, my friend is selling his old 450 rims as he has upgraded to tubeless rims, can I directly install his old tubeless compatible rims on my 411?? No need of any spokes removal etc?? And if required i can get the tubeless conversion done in the future?
Yes you can install but spokes has to be realigned which can be done by any mechanic. And yes you can convert it to tubeless with way2speed solution.
@AbhishekDaniel got it. And currently I have Reise TrailR and ceat stock, I know from the video that it needs the ktm adv 390 rear profile? The front will need to be changed too?? P.S really appreciate your patience and prompt response, very grateful🙏🤘
@@Thehimalayanvigilante front can be used but rear needs to be changed. The rear stock is too narrow for the aluminium rims. So ktm profile fits best. For tubeless front, only Himalayan 450 CEAT stock tyres are available in the market right now. As a suggestion, I’d recommend you go with similar profile tyres in the front and back. TrailR is more off road biased and CEAT stock is more road biased. It’ll cost stability issues esp on high speeds, cornering and braking.
@@AbhishekDaniel understood. That really helps, thank you💪
Bro u don't speak Hindi, are u indian or not ?
FYI India has 22 official languages and there’s no single national language. I speak Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and English. There’s a world outside of your bubble brother. I hope you grow out of this ignorance
Bro can you suggest any means to improve the headlight
Watch my video on Vaishnu LED touring headlight.
Hey bro, just a thought-maybe try stepping away from high-torque machines for a bit and explore other options. I respect your opinion, but if you're open to it and want to learn more, riding a bike with less torque could give you a completely different experience. You might feel more connected to the machine in a way you haven't before. Of course, it's not true for every bike-each one has its own unique feel and purpose. But if you’re looking to expand your skills and try something new, this might be worth considering and hey coming from gt650 guy. not a fan of RE but some of there motorcycle are worth riding and mine is one of them.😆
I agree with your point. But over the years of riding on different terrains with different intentions, I’ve come to enjoy one particular style of riding. And that is slow exploration of places on smaller roads and off roads. I don’t enjoy highway or sporty aggressive riding. For such riding style, an engine with good low end torque suits the best than a high revving engine. This video is entirely my opinion of these motorcycles based on my style of riding. Yes with skills, you can do the same things on a high revving engine as well but if an option of good torquey machine exist, why not go for it? It’s personal preference at the end of the day and I’ve come to that conclusion after riding both types of engines back to back.
@AbhishekDaniel agreed bro, i myself unable to find a good tourer after riding gt650 , hem450 seems faded in comparison with the torque feeling you got. What i wanted to convey to you is there are people who watch this video as a reference to what they should buy so try that approach. I know it's your personal opinion but initially people came for a helping hand from a fellow rider in making them their decision. Rest cheers ride safe and enjoy ☺️
Hello bro would u recommend this over the interceptor 650??
It’ll be based on your use case scenario. Both are very different bikes
@AbhishekDaniel I'm looking for majority city commuting nd mild touring which one would serve the purpose
@ then I don’t think either would be a good choice. Something like HD 440X or the RE 350s would be better
Is pillion comfortable for 100-150 kms ride ?
I’ve not ridden pillion on it for that long so I don’t know
Thank you, May I know how would the wind blast with a regular triumph factory fit the windshield while riding at 90-100 ?
@ it’s present strongly. Factory windshield is purely for aesthetic purposes
Love your content Abhishek.. just wanted to ask , after the tubeless conversion does the adjustment or tightening of the spokes become a problem? I am planning to convert my scrambler into a tubeless set up and is this something i should worry about? Should i instead go for cross spoke rims (which are very very expensive, and I haven't seen great reviews regarding it's quality online) , expecting a reply.
The cross spoke rims of the 450 aren’t compatible with 411. The spokes can be adjusted but it should be done carefully so as to not pierce the way2speed coating. If it gets pierced, you can cut out that particular portion and reapply the solution, wait for it to set and it’ll be good to go
@@AbhishekDaniel Awesome mate ! Mine's not a 411 scram it's a yezdi scrambler.. 450s tubeless spokes aren't compatible with my bike . I was considering the desmotech cross spoke rims they cost 50k btw because i was worried about the spoke tightening dilemma if i were to get a conversion but the desmotech spokes don't have that good of a reputation for all that money.. I'm considering a regular conversion from what you said. Hope it'll go well .
@@AbhishekDaniel is there any imbalance or such after the conversion ? Any noticeable difference while riding ?
@ regular conversion on a steel rim won’t work. It’ll work only in aluminium rims.
@ nope
I have installed this but my low beam is not working with the bike switch…. Only high beam and drl working…. Did u change any wiring to solve this ? I have Type B warm white model
I think you have wired it wrong. I didn’t have any such issue. Contact Vaishnu. They’ll help you out
@ I had done it as per diagram only…. All are plug fit…, tried talking to vaishnu, they initially sent replacement harness but same story… now they are asking to send back with both headlight and harness.
@ oh
Get projector fog lamps which I have installed on my Speed 400. They are the same as these headlight projector. I have videos of the projector fog lamps on my channel.
Hey thanks for suggesting this great product. I have ordered and fitted the headlight. Can you help me with one thing. Unlike Vaishnu's other headlights, the scram 400x models dont have a rear cowl or back casing, is this right? Have your ridden in heavy rains and any issues you had?
It has a casing. You need to install with the casing I believe. Yes I have ridden it in heavy western ghats rains, Himalayan cold and Rajasthan’s dusty deserts with this headlight on both my Himalayan and scrambler. No issues till date.
I am looking to buy Triumph for City Ride and i am so confused between speed 400 and Scrambler 400, I havent heard good reviews about Speed 400 but everyone has praised Scarmbler 400, i am not very sure about city ride. can you please help me with your experience with City ride?
For city ride I wouldn’t suggest both. HD 440X would be a better choice.
I'm from the USA and working for Reliance in Dahej for a while. Hopefully Christmas day I can pick up a Scrambler. I was going to take a used bike but the prices are too high. Will be my first new bike.
All the best 🙂 Scrambler will not disappoint
@AbhishekDaniel Should be good for puttering around India. Back home I have a KTM 990SMR supermoto for some fun! Anyway, it's good that India has more affordable decent bikes like this Scrambler. Can't buy such things in the USA.
@ but I’m guessing you’ll find the lower cc motorcycles boring compared to the one you own 😅 anyways there ain’t roads decent enough for the big bikes here. And I think manufacturers like Triumph, RE and KTM are shipping these smaller cc bikes worldwide now
@AbhishekDaniel I guess I meant bikes like the 400X Scrambler are now getting to the US, but their cost is now at least 40% higher. Maybe the "newness" will wear off and US prices will drop. What I do know is we can only buy junky Chinese moto's for what I'm paying for a new 400X in India.
@@AbhishekDaniel I prefer 500-600cc engines on dirt and dual sport bikes, but the 400X will suit my needs here. Something to get away from my hotel so I don't feel imprisoned. I don't need to be doing 150mph speed runs. At home I have a street legal Honda XR650R. That's a fun bike since you can jump over things in your way. But not comfortable for longer rides.
