love how organically Araki weaved the mention of Paco's background into the story, learning about him through the bad guys' investigation instead of a flashback or some random narration. in the previous chapter paco instantly recognized the sound of Glory Days as a gun with a silencer, and now we get a bit of his background that explains perfectly how he would know something like that and react so quick
With how fast the gang potentially could be getting their hands on 'Howler's' money and land, it made me come up with the idea that maybe they will fully aquire the land and money super quick and soon, and have 'Howler's' allies attempt to take it back throughout the part
Gotta remember: Calamity is just another force of nature in the JJBA universe. Like gravity and fate, these are the mechanisms of the universe, and now the Lava Rock influences the universe in a similarly abstract way: absurdity. Chains of events taking place to move wealth toward the holder of the rock. They’re not necessarily negative, though obviously it can be given the governor’s daughter and the banker. But also small time shenanigans like what happened at the jewelry store with the watch
I’m glad I’m not the only one who picked up on the lady in the cool suit. I hope nothing bad happens to her next chapter even if she does just turn out to be a background extra
Average JoJo Manga reader holds up a Calamity and says "Is this Wonder of U?" WoU controlled the flow of Calamities to protect itself and its user, but unlike the Lava Rock it did not manipulate the flow to bring him Blessings. Love Train was similar, but simply redirected attacks to become someone else's Calamity, filtering them out to only allow for Blessings to be received. The Lava Rock seems to influence things so that Calamities can bring forth Blessings to its owner. I'm more interested to see if it has any moral/karmic influence to its manipulation of the flow. It's used the Politician and his daughter, who seem fairly innocent/good intentioned, and the Banker, who's clearly a huge prick, as vectors for it's ability. If it is neutral then why did the daughter die due to the horrible effects of Bag's Groove and Mack got an instant death from Glory Days? Also funny that Howler's own stand users are unintentionally bankrupting their company.
The JoJolands are shaping up to be absolute peak atm. I don't think I've been more invested in the premise of any of the JoJo parts more than I am with this one.
00:37 There's no way you actually believe Araki drew Bobby Jean pose to ressemble the turquish guy.🤣 That's like, the most used pose in Jojo for a guy holding a gun. It can be anyone who has a gun stand since Hol Horse . Also, wasn't Jojolands written during the pandemic ? I mean, its quite a coincidence that this chapter came out a few weeks after the Turquish guy got famous but to say Araki drew the frame has Bobby Jean is quite a reach.
1:29- Bobby Jean: and somehow I sense you’re more of a Poor Tom who’s actually older than they look type rather than a Mannish Boy type who’s an amoral baby.
No gonna lie. What scares me the most about all this is the speed at which the lava rock is working at. That land deed was $50 billion and the rock has it well on its way to their possession in less than what- an hour? That's insanely fast! With how fast its working though, I imagine it'll likely completely disregard the safety of those around the person who uses it. Meaning it could directly cause the death of one of the main team.
Bobbie Jean doing the Turkish pose from the Olympic is so cool ngl. Besides, this chapter made me like his character even more and I hope he has more relevance than just being the first true threat the main group faces (either as an ally or a somewhat recurring character like Wekapipo in SBR). Once again this chapter also shows how creative the group members are with their stands and the interactions between characters are really good !
I think when the bank man died, it was surely cause of the lava rock if I had to guess, because the bank was trying to seize howlers assets which I think included the land but since the land was gravitating towards the owner of the lava rock, the lava rock killed the bank guy as a means of protecting the land while it’s transferring ownership or in other words the lava rock can bring calamities to those who hinder its process of maneuvering value around which is crazy
Is it possible that Glory Days was a reference to Super Hot also maybe the lava rock was a fragment of tooru’s body that somehow someway by fate found its way to Hawaii and worked in morbid ways
also a thing that supports that bobby jean could become an ally is the fact that howler didnt really trust him and when he was on the phone with lulu he had to make sure that bobby jean isnt listening and lulu also didnt told bobby jean
it did,its probably one of the events in the chain events to bring the group the rights of the land, since now all the files about it are just on the gournd, probably the lava stone will make it happen that it magicly gonna get to them
@@itayspector6407 it'll be very interesting to see just how deep the influence of these lava rocks go, maybe not a "absolutely everything was leading up to this point" moment but definitely some crazy twists
Amused that Glory Days is (currently) the worst gun Stand we've seen in the series. It doesnt come with an invisible gun with controllable bullets you can summon any time you want (The Emperor), it doesn't let you set up crazy trick shots (Sex Pistols), and it doesn't let you reverse time repeatedly until you're happy with the outcome (Mandom). He can just make his bullets less likely to hit you if he wants to. The guy had a silenced pistol aimed at the protagonists and they weren't looking at him - it feels like if he'd just shot them normally the Part would be over. Now, with some particularly weak Jojolion Stands Araki quietly improved them when the character came back later (e.g. Ojiro's 'Fun Fun Fun' can now be directly applied via touch and Speed King can now set a trap that continuously increases the heat of your body until your brain melts) so maybe Glory Days' best days are ahead of it.
It looks like I've returned much sooner than expected. I'll (probably) return and edit my comment to review this chapter once I'm actually caught up, so far I've only read chapter one.
i really like the concept of the stand but i dont really understand why couldnt he just used a regular gun, like,i dont think they could have dodged against a normal gun,but its still cool!
MY COLORING LETS GOOO
indeed, it is peak after all
*Sniffs*
Someone cooked here
That panel of Bobby Jean on the elevator was the most American ahh panel in jojo

Wait that’s actually a really cool detail 🤯 Nice pickup
This was such a good chapter im loving Jojolands so much
Same here, what do you love most about it?
@@Jojodoss the whole gangs dynamic I love each of them so much for each of their own ways
8.3% of the bullets hit their target in chapter 18
thats real

Maybe absurdity is the culmination of all these forces coming together to bring the valuable property
Loving this part man
I love how Bobby Jean tells her off. He’s so blunt but polite.
11:04 THEY FUC*ING KILLED JOSHU!!! 😭
Good. Someone had to finish what his barber started.
it'd be wild if the lava rock was toru's corpse
That mysterious woman was totally eye fucking Paco.
"damn, you could grind cheese on those abs" -her, probably
It’d be really funny if Araki made her to be the main villain of the part.
Lava rock is a piece of toru 😭
wait this theory fucks so hard

So she would be rushed to hospital where Team Jodio could find the signature thing

With every chapter review you are slowly converting me to a Paco girlie
Paco is the goat so this is good
loving jojolands so far, every chapters were all amazing

Paco seems like the type of guy to attack an annoying superior officer tbh
another great video, love how you don't let your intellectual disability get in the way of pumping out these bangers 💯💯
Honestly to see all the love for this chapter gives me so much joy, reading it, it truly felt exciting and cool for whatever reason
So was it ever explained why paco’s father bit off his ear, if not, could him being discharged from the military been the reason, theory

Dragona have the volcanic rock and he was saved very fast of the Lulu's stand (sus) while Usagi 😅

Turkish Guy is a Stand User
I hope bobby jean lives

so Bobby Jean's stand is just a gun, but worse?
No the bullets can change in speed
A cool gun
Right? I was wondering why they weren’t moving out of the way if the bullets are slow
@@Cam7.David production will have problems showing this ability... All of us watching the anime "only move you! The bullet is very slow!
Hmm we'll see i hope not. There's gotta be more than just the bullet speed.
the banker's death was pretty absurd

this is so sad pls read jojolands
Im calling it lulu and acca are rock humans
Watching from airport
Safe travel
Or just jodio is the villan of the part
And we need the main hero after ch100 or 50
Bobby jean reminds me of hol horse since hol horse had a chick and they look similiar
Paco does have an ear wound so what if that has something to do about it
i really like the concept of the stand but i dont really understand why couldnt he just used a regular gun, like,i dont think they could have dodged against a normal gun,but its still cool!
8.3% gang
Jodio is the new Johnny! (But less confusing)
