The potential JoDio is radiating is otherworldly. I also love just how simplistic an ability November Rain is compared to Tusk and especially Soft & Wet who seemed to gain new abilities every fight. It's giving me Stone Free vibes where the ability seems a bit lacking, but the character uses their big brain to show how strong and versatile it can be.
@gaminganimators7000 and he can use his stand to bring the moon upon you by using his rain droplets to cause a humongous gravitational pull that pulls parts of the moon or just the moon itself on you LMAOO

Can’t believe it’s already been a year that flew by. I still remember the day it came out I was on a trip and read the first chapter in the car it was a great day. So far it’s been pretty cool but I can’t wait to see where it goes once it really starts picking up. We aren’t even far enough into the story for people to be saying it’s “the worst part” yet… most likely because people aren’t used to waiting for new jojo chapters every month and have been able to binge read the previous ones.
People aren't used to it? The Part 8 manga fandom was massive. It was on serialization for 10 years. A lot of of the fandom has definitely experienced Part 8 weekly
@@Shiba9870 not really most people were not reading part 8 weekly unless you were a really big jojo fan…. You can see plenty of comments saying that jojolands is the first time they started reading weekly go back to a chapter 1 review and that’s a lot of the comments… I would say the majority are reading this weekly for the first time…. I think it's really funny that the chapter just after this video tackles in a lot of the worries you ahve in the video like showing dragonas past and deepening the relation with Jodio
I didn't think I'd love Paco so much but he's quickly becoming my favorite from the group so far. At first I thought his stand was kinda silly but seeing what it can do in the Charming man fight I was really impressed. JoJo weirdness but badass at its best. this is your reminder: CATCH UP AND READ PART 9!
First of all, psychopathy is a personality disorder, not a mental disorder. Its not something that can be cured or treated. With that out of the way, here's my theory on how I think things will go on. So, the lava rock. It attracts objects with sentimental value, not necessarily ones that have monetary value. The protag is a self-centered asshole who just wants wealth and doesn't exactly cares for his partners. Now think back to gangster movies like Scarface, where the asshole protag fights to get to the top of the world, but to get there loses everything he ever cared about in the process to the point that his victory is ultimately shallow and phyrric. Now back to the lava rock, and what I believe is the central theme of this part's plot and what's coming Jodio's way, learning and choosing what really matters in his life, what it is that is really valuable. He will have to make those choices, whether to stand up for his partners/friends/family or sacrifice them.
I think you misunderstood Jodio completely. He may not be capable of caring in the typical way, but he believes in “rules” and those rules keep him grounded. Rules like fair play, trust, and family. Furthermore, Jodio DOES care about Dragona. Enough to square up with a cop packing heat. He cares about his mother enough to use his connections to make her life comfortable. Most importantly, he cares about rules enough to let an undercover cop nearly bust him.
Psychopaths lack any form of empathy, this makes them very self-centered and manipulative. They will "care" for other people if they see those people as his "property" or an extension of themselves, or if it is on their best interests to care for those people and treat them well. Jodio is likely the latter.
@@MagmaMKIIPsychopathy is a spectrum, meaning that not all psychopaths are the same. Some of them may have a certain level of empathy and care for some people, though it's a very tiny group of people.
So this is kinda random but I honestly would like this to be heard by someone. This is basically a cool stand idea that would be fun in part 9 as a major side villain ability. The name I thought of was “Duel of the Fates” a double sided blade with the handle made from steel and dark wood. It has the power of granting immense physical strength, fighting technique, foresight, an extendable chain in the hilt, and can push/repel anything in contact with the side of the blade. It does play off some of the ideas of Anubis from part three of adapting to opponents over time which I feel makes the user quite terrifying. This concept makes me think of the user feeling similar to Toji fushigoro from jjk who is an assassin for hire which would work for the story. I wish I had any good capabilities of drawing since I feel this would be a really cool ability to see since brawling stands make for good fights. The only reason why I feel it could backfire is how there is so much given in “Duel of the Fates” arsenal but that is to make him an overwhelming threat. I’m probably going a bit far in detail by this point but I could see this ability’s user entering the manga after doing a job to take down king crimson using the foresight to react and kill him. I hope you see this Metas as I feel like you might find this really fun to read but have an awesome day bud and keep up the good work!
"First action is to get cash from Rohan" Why does this sound so familiar? 11:03 I can vaguely see where the wind blows from. The throughline of the original story(additionally strenghened by the anime adaptation, but it was always there) is that Jonathan grew up to be a symbol of positive change upon the world and thus it is fate that in the future, his family will always appear to combat evildoers. Under that idea, even morally questionable criminals have to ultimately be good people, it would make no sense otherwise. Araki wanted to do other things, so we went to an unrelated universe. And that thematically allows for Jojos that aren't strictly in the right because suddenly none of them are related to the original Jonathan anymore, so it wouldn't mess with anything. If anything, some specific things seem to be specifically inverted here.
I definitely enjoy Jodio so far, his relatable and non relatable aspects fuze really well for me. The stand feels very straight forward so he’d probably have to be WAY more creative than others. Dragona, Paco, and Charmingman are interesting to me. But the primary thing keeping me paying attention is the mechanism stuff, the lava rocks and how those connect to the Corpse/Fuits and equivalent exchange. I’m currently waiting to critique the series myself until I understand the entire story. Idk
Since part 7, Araki has been bombarding us with a lot of mystical metaphors like the corpse, the rokakaka fruit, and now I guess it's the lava rock. The lava rock is just going to be another "thing" the characters fight over for control of I guess this time would be "wealth" or the "mechanism". But what I'm most interested in has to be how Spin is going to be added to the story this time. We've seen Spin become a consistent thing to the Joestar bloodline from part 7 so Jodio and Dragona has to obtain it at some point.
We need dp to get the anime going again we need part 7 part 8 and part 9 we’ll what’s out so far I especially want part 7 as it is one of my favourites part 5 my second favourite
Honestly i find all the stands so far pretty interesting, including how they changed Heaven's Door, now instead of having to pull out his stand to turn them into a book, he just has to touch them and they fall unconscious with the pages flipping, November rain is cool with rain with weight applied to them, The Hustle is still a little confusing to me, like how he can kinda absorb things into his flesh, but i'm just not 100% sure yet how it works. The wired cats are cool as hell, again not 100% sure how the power works, it just seems like the fur of the cat turns into steel wire that they can fully control.. Sorry that i'm not mentioning the other stands but i just don't know their names, sure all their powers are cool and they all have their time to shine so far.
Correction: Rohan didn't ONLY touch them, he touched them and then the ability activated with a delay, similiar to KQ's bombs. He also appeared to be unable to use his stand to turn them into books, only able to do it when he actually touched someone with his own hands.
I feel like having an absolutely psychotic lead who wants to conquer the mechanisms of the world is the story we all want to read rn. The main cast being unapologetically criminal but also relatable and human adds a lot to the story. something is cooking.
JoJolands so far has been a great start to a new part, I have hope that it will become one of the best parts in the series. Jodio is honestly one of my new favorites in JoJo characters
Still reading part 8 here, just watching the video as i don't mind spoilers that much but ngl...the more i read about this main cast (Jodio and co) the more i lose interest on them lmao. Idk, i'm just no really into evil protagonists, i really like Johnny and Giorno as they aren't human trash, but it just seems that Jodio is that human trash...he's even a psycopath lmao. But i'm certainly jumping to conclusions, even if i still don't feel like i will like him, i also feel i'm being too hasty so i will try to take it slow

I really like Araki exploring fate/luck vs unluck and how the Lava Rock seems to be a monkey's paw magnet of fortune, paralleling the Wall Eyes, which was a source of a curse, from where hope was eventually created in the form of Josuke's fusion birth. On the other hand, this has to be the wackest and lamest set of Jojo designs. Aside from Jodio and Dragona, I really dislike everyone else's designs. Too Araki-esque, in my opinon.

Tbh this part hasn’t been resonating with me as much. The abilities are neat I guess but the characters don’t really grab my attention. In comparison, Jojolion started off STRONG and it’s mystery around the protag and the rock people. The latter half was where I think it fell off. Some story beats were way too predictable and the end was too brief and underwhelming. I really think Araki captured lightning in a bottle with SBR because til this day, that’s peak Jojo for me.
I feel like I’m having the complete opposite reaction, I’ve been rather bored of this part, intrigued by Jodio actually being a sociopath but I haven’t felt the same hook as I did with part 7 and early part 8. That being said it’s my first time reading as it’s being released so that may be negatively affecting me

like Jonathan to Johnny, Josuke to Gappy, and then there's Jodio. it's not Jolyne obviously and i don't see it being Giorno because he probably would have the name Jogio or something. thematically Jodio being Giorno makes sense because they're both criminals with a name that stems from Dio in some way (remove the second have of Giorno's name and replace the G with D and you get Dio and Jodio just has Dio in his name). and November Rain is kind of like Weather's stand with the overpowered rain so...is Jodio a parallel to Weather? because spoilers for Part6 the Green Baby gives Pucci and Weather (and later Emporio) the Joestar birthmark"
I know this part is REALLY good, but I have like 90 unsolve questions from part 8 lol
Name of intro music? PLSSSSS
Can someone give me a place i can buy sbr in English?
How many years until we see the main villain is my question.
i love random persona ost
Does anyone else say JoDio’s name as “Jodie-Oh”?
Saying the only thing Mista did was shoot himself is crazy
I feel like I’m having the complete opposite reaction, I’ve been rather bored of this part, intrigued by Jodio actually being a sociopath but I haven’t felt the same hook as I did with part 7 and early part 8. That being said it’s my first time reading as it’s being released so that may be negatively affecting me
Man i am blind and this opened my eyes
Explain Yoma Hashimoto or just all abilities in thus spoke kishibe rohan pls
It’s their version of Kars.
the only thing I didn't get in jojolands is wth usugi did with the wired cats
Jodio was shape very similar to Giorno Giovanna
and what is the music name?
Can you make a video explanation of the battle of strongest stand: GER vs Wonder of U
Wonder of u is second strongest of the SBR universe
Araki has finally gone full femboy and I’m here for it
SINCE WHEN DID WE HAVE A PART 9
Yes.
Nah im waiting until jojolands is finished, or at least the main villain is shown
so youre gonna start reading in 2030, gotcha
wow that year flew bye wtf
I need that intro song
Wait, Jojoland was 1 year ago???????
Well part 8 was overly complex and it's ending left a lot to be desired. Part 9 going simple was the best move.
As for the art the dude is or almost 70. Minimum art is going to be less taxing on him.
Where do we even read it man😭
2:00 A WHO?
WUT IS DAT INTRO SONG CALLLLLLED
adding Rohan ruined it for me but i'll keep reading
Nice Vid
Honestly if I gotta be honest as a JoJo fan I don't like JoJolands really. It doesn't have that Jojo feel really
was? is it already done?!
No there’s only 12 chapters rn and the next chapter comes out on the 18th
Either he makes it weekly or the manga is cooked
Man I can tell you’ve never stolen or committed a crime accident or not and are a good tax paying citizen
There are like 12 chapters chill out
Isnt dragona trans? Or at least heavily implied
Most likely they are the third Hawaiian gender which I forgot the name but it can be roughly translated as Hawaiian bigender
I read couple of chapters and I was bored.
18:47 un subbing how can you hate my boi
HUHHH
man i dont like any of part 9 so far. i really tried, but after reading the hot garbage that was jojolion (imo), i just lost hope lol. parts 2-7 were amazing, this and jojolion just dont feel like jojo at all anymore
@FerroMeow i dont think the characters are as iconic anymore. i feel as if from around part 6 then 8, and now 9 do not have that memorable of characters. i dont know any of the names of the part 9 characters, nor what they stand for so far, and I understand we are early in the story, but their personalities should be established.
part 8 had such a lackluster villain too, im just burned as you are ahhaha
06:34 Say what?!
Bro it’s only 12 chapters you can’t make a review off of it
Says who!
Honestly..boring jojo i ever read 😢...stand design looks weak ..not only this ...everything feels weak...
