Love how this one turned out 🤩 Adding a front and back color to 3d objects really makes effects pop! 👉Make sure to check out our sponsor Unity Asset Store: assetstore.unity.com/?aid=1100l3Jhu
Every tutorial is amazing! I learn so much every time! Using the back face / front face different colors to give the impression of light being given off is genius!
im more of a programmer than an artist and when i say this channel has helped so much i mean without it i will never be able to make any type of decent VFX and with this channel i was able to make Perfect VFX
Awesome tutorial Gabriel! (as always :) ) ...btw in Material Maker you can right click the 2D viewport to export the texture directly, so you don't have to make a bloat of unnecessary files :)
Your entire channel is a feast for the eyes. Just one is a blast. Meanwhile every big publisher and fantasy game developer puts millions of dollars or thousands of indie hours making the most bland basic and empty looking fire humanly possible by paper mache and somehow trying to make it look eye catching-ly epic.
@@GabrielAguiarProd Your tutorials have been super helpful for my project. The only thing is while I'm getting very used to using both VFX graph and Shader Graph from these tutorials. I'm wondering if you have a tutorial on the topic of typical do's and don'ts when using these tools with respect to optimization? If you don't do you know a good resource on that topic? I think part of the reason is I don't have full grasp of computer graphics tech outside of the basics or I dont have a full of what these tools are actually doing under the hood.
Hey, thanks a lot for mentioning Material Maker! If you just need to generate a single image, you can also use the 2D preview's context menu (Export submenu).
Thank you so much for the tip, that's so useful! Material Maker is so cool btw. I've been recommending it a lot and I think it has great potential. Keep up the splendid work. 🙌
Bro its nice to make videos on how to make these effect, but please make a viddo on to do the collision in visual effect graph, with a basic simple vfx graph and an ennemy for exemple
Hello! Everything is working fine except the time node seems to distort the texture to a point where there is only straight line instead of the outer orb being interesting, if i put 0.0001 in the mainttexspeed in the x value everything is distorted i followed everything from a to z and still can't find what is the problem here is there another way to make it rotate instead of using a time node it doesnt seems to work!
Despite using your voronoi 3 texture provided via your patreon, I'm getting weird lines and artefacts when I am using the tiling and offset node to make it rotate around the sphere. (very last step). I tried a few different textures and they all have the same issue. I am using the latest version of Unity. 2022.3.19. I triple checked to make sure all my nodes are the same as yours. I am very new to Shaders and VFX graphs, my only knowledge is from Blender. edit: if I slow down the texture speed, it seems to work better. As soon as I make X 4 or higher it glitches out.
Great tutorial! However I have the problem that the Output Particle Mesh is not showing whatsoever. Put the Size to 100 and still not showing. Any idea what the issue could be?
Nice tutorial, thanks ! But for some reason, the Set Angle doesn't work for me, I can't manage to orient the voronoi texture correctly, it doesn't make any changes. I even tried with other nodes but nothing seems to make it rotate. Any idea why ?
After wathing this, I have same result, except around my orb is spherical mesh. Hoh do I remove it ? I unwrapped sphere in Blender. Also, how do I make this infinite loop shinig (I don't want it to stop)?

I started studying VFX recently for fun and this is exactly what I wanted to make as my first project!!

Awesome, definitely using this on my characters staff head
It's a pretty neat one, make good use of it :D
Excellent tutorial man :D I started with game development and vfx for games and your videos have helped me a lot. Thanks.
You're very welcome!

Great video! Love the videos where you mix the VFX graph with the Shader graph.
Came at the perfect time! Thanks!
Fantastic video! Thank you
great sir love your work

thanks for another lovely tutorials ♥
You're welcome 😊
If there are additional 1-2min explanation for HDRP settings, I believe your awesome tutorials will reach more people. 😀
Dedicated tutorial for Material Maker would be amazing!
Noted! I'm thinking about doing one indeed.
That would be great@@GabrielAguiarProd
Beautiful as always! ❤
Thank you! This is one of my new favorites 😊

and how i say - i see all you videos =) you TOP
Nice!
Do you plan on making more courses for the VFX Graph? I really liked the one you already made (and the particle systems one). Thanks
Glad you liked them! Yes. There will be more courses to come :)

i found the problem if you have the same problem as me in the import setting of the voronoi texture you need to put the Wrap mode in "Repeat"

yo gabriel any idea how we can achieve skill effects like in octopath traveler? it looks so unique
Does shade smooth in blender really apply to the whole model rather than just how blender represents it?
Give it a try, export one without shader smooth and see how it looks in Unity :D
@@GabrielAguiarProd thanks man.I always thought I had to change the model import settings in unity
How you develope yourself in visual effect .Your things so cool

I can't seem to make these work at all, i been getting this error non stop NullReferenceException: Object not set to an instance of an object.

Is there a way to make the edges of voronoi smooth?

How do you make the floating particles with this nice bright light?
They have an higher intensity in their color and there's a Global Volume with Bloom on the scene.
What do I have to add so that "Visual Effect Graph" and its variables appear?
Since it only appears visual effects without anything else 😢
Have you made sure it's installed in the package manager? The Visual Effect Graph package.
can u make a tutorial on how can i make dash vfx graph.
for example xiao (from genshin impact), zenetsu (from demon slayer)

maybe the normals on the sphere are facing the wrong way.
