Professional musicians use iPad Pro for apps like StaffPad and Moog Model D, and the iMac Pro (with 128 GB RAM) is more than sufficient for almost any music need.
Really glad YT suggested this to me. I used to be Apple, but had to switch to Windows laptop a few years ago as I was preparing to get an Accounting degree office job. I am now switching back, it is such a relief. I needed to get a newer, bigger laptop to run my Accounting and Tax homework. Was learning all the specs I needed. I ended up pulling my old 2012 iMac 21” desktop out of the closet. It had the power and speed I needed! There are very few compatibility issues now. Apple tech really works well and lasts!

I have a series 2 watch, iphone 6s, a non-touch ipod and just bought an old imac to refurbish (typically, before watching this video). All but the ipod were bought used, (though not all at the same time), and the prices I paid add up to about $400. The ipod was probably another $100ish, I forget now. The watch is no longer supported but still works well, as do the phone and ipod. The imac hasn't arrived yet, it'll be here sometime this week, but was listed as working. It's from 2009, but it's upgradable and should work for what I need.

This is my Apple setup: 2019 MacBook Pro iPhone 7plus Apple Watch s3 iPad Pro 9.7 So some new some old, all working wonderfully still, my advice is spend where you need to but save where you can. I use my computer heavily for work while the rest of my devices are more for pleasure.
As long as you pay with PayPal linked to a credit card it’s literally impossible to have serious issues with the amount of protection you get. That’s the only reason I’m happy to shop where there’s shady sellers
This was great, and I was really excited for this! But personally I would change the iPhone 8 to a 7 and the 5th gen iPad to a 6th gen. Because the iPhone 7 still performs great and the only thing you are losing out on are the wireless charging and the slightly faster processor. The iPad 6 has an A10 processor which will make it last a year longer.
UPDATE 3 YEARS AFTER: sadly iphone 7 is now out of date. and iphone 8 is now the oldest supported phone! it even supports IOs 16 quite well, and rumored to get IOs 17 as well.

Here’s MY OPINION, Apple has better computers but they’re way overpriced. Every iPhone that’s 8 or below is easy to use, but other companies have better features, the Apple ones are more simple. AirPod regular is garbage, Pros are good but the price tag makes them not worth. If they were like 220 CAD I would totally get them. iPads are... superior because even though they have less ram, the system Apple uses to process makes the iPads capabilities endless, but it comes with a huge cost. So overall, the stuff you have is actually amazing, but it must have cost a lot

I got with 1000 dollars, iphone XR for 400 dollars(used), ipad Air 2 (heavy used) for 175 dollars and i got a apple watch series 2 for 175 dollars(used) and a macbook pro 2009 for 200 dollars(heavy used rlly heavy used) total of 950 dollars
Iphone xr is amost that price for a new price.. iphone xR is like 700 euros brand new without discount.. get it at a good time and have discount and u have it for 600 and then that’s like 400 dollars (out of my head)
These are high in the state-of-the-art scale. Maybe not so much the Macbook Pro but the 2014-2015 models are still vastly used nowadays. Couldn't believe the title when I saw it, great job!!!
Currently running an iPhone 6SPlus soon to be 8SPlus mid 2012 MacBook Pro 5Gen iPad, 3rd gen watch magic keyboard and 2nd gen AirPods, absolutely immersed in the eco system and very very happy, the only upgrade I will do soon is to put an ssd in the MacBook ! Love apple stuff!
I just can't imagine not having a case on my stuff other than my Apple Watch, but I completely understand. It's not even about protecting my devices from scratches or dents but more that I can't have any downtime due to issues cause I use all this stuff for work. I didn't even open my MacBook 16 i9 before I got a case cause it's my workhorse when I'm not around my iMac. I really love this video though, it's nice to see someone recommending used products over creating more e-waste. There's so many older but perfectly good devices that need love and a new home.

I built my own PC for $500 (2200g, RX 570, 1tb storage, 16GB RAM), iPhone XR for $354 (open box condition on apples ebay page), and I’m looking into an Apple watch series 3 for $150. I highly recommend that people build their own PC if they plan on gaming or doing serious video editing if their budget is under like $800. It’s a PRIME time right now to build a beefy PC for such a low price. $500 and I get 120 FPS max settings in Overwatch is pretty hard to beat.

Airpods are useless. Overly expensive and they don’t even sound that good. I have a pair and the only thing about them that’s even remotely impressive is the convenience. In terms of sound quality, you can do a lot better for 160 dollars.

This is actually a solid lineup. The MacBook Pro Retina 14 is still pretty good win and a decent performer, I used a 2014 MacBook Pro retina all throughout college and until last year. 6 solid years of performance. 224 for an iPhone 8 is good as well.
My apple ecosystem is: IPhone XS IPad Pro 11" Apple watch series 5 Airpods Pro Perfect setup (I don't need a macbook as the IPad Pro 11" is a good laptop replacement for me and if not then even better)
I think this is great and it is a testament to the longevity of the Apple products. I used to have a mindset of a new iPhone every year, a new iPad every two years, and I MacBook about every four years. Now, I may go for years on an iPad and let the Mac run as long as it can. For the first time ever I am not upgrading my iPhone After a year. Oh, and I already go two years on an Apple Watch. That has only been because of battery life.

twinkharrylwt I don’t use it for much other than emails and web browsing, and I got it on sale at Best Buy. Compared to the higher powered pro at close to 2,000 USD this version was a no brainer for me 🙂

I currently have an iPhone XR, an apple watch 3, a MacBook Air 2017, a mac mini 2015, an iPad mini 1 (iOS 9, but for some reading/UA-cam/Netflix it actually still is fast enough) and an iPod touch 5th gen (iOS 9, that one hasn't been used in forever). Definitely will upgrade the iPad soon (no idea though for what I will go).

Airpods are useless. Overly expensive and they don’t even sound that good. I have a pair and the only thing about them that’s even remotely impressive is the convenience. In terms of sound quality, you can do a lot better for 160 dollars.

This is actually a solid lineup. The MacBook Pro Retina 14 is still pretty good win and a decent performer, I used a 2014 MacBook Pro retina all throughout college and until last year. 6 solid years of performance. 224 for an iPhone 8 is good as well.

Perfect setup (I don't need a macbook as the IPad Pro 11" is a good laptop replacement for me and if not then even better)

I think this is great and it is a testament to the longevity of the Apple products. I used to have a mindset of a new iPhone every year, a new iPad every two years, and I MacBook about every four years. Now, I may go for years on an iPad and let the Mac run as long as it can. For the first time ever I am not upgrading my iPhone After a year. Oh, and I already go two years on an Apple Watch. That has only been because of battery life.

Just to be wondering, u have all the top lines besied your macbook, is there a reason for that? I got the older macbook pro 2017 foor like 1000 euros brand new, when the 2019 was released with 250gb.. more powerfull that the macbook air 2019 and like same price..
twinkharrylwt I don’t use it for much other than emails and web browsing, and I got it on sale at Best Buy. Compared to the higher powered pro at close to 2,000 USD this version was a no brainer for me 🙂

I currently have an iPhone XR, an apple watch 3, a MacBook Air 2017, a mac mini 2015, an iPad mini 1 (iOS 9, but for some reading/UA-cam/Netflix it actually still is fast enough) and an iPod touch 5th gen (iOS 9, that one hasn't been used in forever).
Definitely will upgrade the iPad soon (no idea though for what I will go).
You could sell your iPad, in a few years it will be very expensive
