I've used the thermal stitch but often find it very hard to see where to insert the hook in the lower loop. This yarn was perfect for a tutorial. You can see the loops perfectly. 😊
Why not skip the row of plain back loop single crochet and let it be chubby from edge to edge? Last row as slip stitches makes it chubbier on last edge.

Any recommendations for weaving in the ends with this yarn? I always seem to struggle with the "scrubby" shiny part getting caught on my tapestry needle and having a terrible mess! ;)

Do you fold the scrubbed in half. To finish them off. You didn't show that? It would of been nice to see.
I just finished my first one. It took less than 30 minutes to make. I chained 14 to make mine. I think it is fine, but the next one I will chain 12 to make a tiny bit smaller. Thanks for the tutorial.

I love these. I tried to make one while my daughter was in dance tonight. I pulled it out about 3-4 times. I always get confused at the ends and I think that I either don’t go all the way to the end or I do an extra stitch. Any suggestions of what I am doing wrong?? I always have trouble with the same things.

I try to count mine to make sure I do not have extra stitch. I also have trouble with extras but counting every single row if you are unsure helps.
Use a stitch marker when you start the toe and take it off move it so you know what stitch to crochet into.
That’s what I do. I’ve been searching for the comment by someone with the same problem. What am I doing wrong? I’ll keep trying.

New to crocheting. Made this scrubby after a few failed attempts. My scrubby is slightly twisted, not sure why. Maybe my stitches are too tight? Any feedback would be appreciated!
Mine are curved just a little bit, but they shouldn’t twist very much. I’d recommend maybe going up a size or 2 in your crochet hook to make the stitches a little looser.

Yes! You can totally do that, I’ve actually made some like that before with this pattern ☺️

I didn’t close the stitches. I just cut the yarn and weaved in the ends.

Can you also use these in the shower as a skin exfoliate?
You could, but I'm not sure about using this particular yarn. It may be a bit too rough for your skin.

i legit thought a bird got into my house😭😅
The bird drove me crazy, I didn’t realize it was coming from the video and stopped it a couple times to listen in my house. 😮 So personally I didn’t like the bird chirping & it distracted me from watching the entire video.
But when it whistles the "good-lookin" whistle, made it worth it.
You need to put that bird in another room. Otherwise, a good tutorial.
It would’ve helped me if the bird was in a different room.
But, yes, good tutorial.
