Ian Astbury is the lead singer of THE CULT. Both he and Billy Duffy the lead guitar player are highly underrated performers. They are GOLD STANDARD!!!👑
LOVE REMOVAL MACHINE is another classic by THE CULT but honestly their whole discography is worth a listen. Saw them live a couple of years ago and they still sound incredible after 40 years. And yes, Amber is correct. Their sound was just a bit different (in a good way) from their hair metal contemporaries.
You took the words right out of my mouth, I saw them live a few years ago as well and they sounded phenomenal! Ian still goes crazy with that tambourine and he can definitely still sing. I also suggest Love Removal Machine as a next reaction, y'all won't be disappointed!
Holy Hannah, it's been a long time since you've reacted to this band (in fact, it's been exactly one year and one week)! I grew up listening to The Cult and their amazing lead singer, Ian Astbury. You did "She Sells Sanctuary", IMHO their signature hit, but this is a hell of a banger too. If I had to pick their next best song, it'd be "Edie (Ciao Baby)", which I played so loud it melted my speakers. "Sweet Soul Sister" and "Wild Hearted Son" are also incredible. Thanks for giving them another shot! If I can recommend another band with a similar vibe that I think you would love, it's Sisters of Mercy. Their song "More" is just incredible. And it's long past time you did a Smashing Pumpkins song ("1979" or "Today" are classics.)
I totally agree - go for Edie (Ciao Baby). I too have listened to that track so often and so loudly it not only melted my speakers but also my ear drums and the relationship with my neighbors! It's late night for me but I'm going to listen to it again and melt my headphones! Here's a YT link - ua-cam.com/video/5oRwlSIn918/v-deo.html I've never heard of Sisters of Mercy but I'll check them out. Thanks for that tip Patrick. I also agree the Rob Squad needs to visit the Smashing Pumpkins!
My club music!! No they're not 80's hairband, they started out in the New Wave Era, with She Sells Sanctuary, and progressed into one of the best rock and roll bands !! And with the aura of Ian Astbury on vocals and stage presence, good Lord!! 👊🏼💪🏼👍🏻🤟
The Cult fused alternative (in their case British Goth) in the late 80's opening the door for 90's grunge and out of hair metal.. Not comparing just saying they Kings X. living Colour , Faith No More opened the record labels minds and many of the 90's bands give them major props. Follow up suggestion 'Edie Ciao Baby" (same album ) 🔥
This was one time I went crazy for a song and had no idea who it was! In those days one couldn’t just play whatever. We had to wait for it to come around on the radio again! Finally, FOUR YEARS LATER, I got it! I had to pull over to make sure I heard the name right. Anyway, saw them live at the Warfield in San Francisco. The small theater venue was acoustically perfect for this band. The sound was so full that it surrounded everything. This song goes with me when I die for sure! Today is my 71st birthday and what a wonderful reaction video to watch! Thank you!
Long ago I heard Danzig - "Mother" on the radio. But didn't hear anything else from him cause most of my music listening was just radio based at that time and some pop cds. Later while driving heard this song "fire woman" but not sure if there was a DJ introduction of the band, don't think so. I had nothing to go by and my memory is garbage but my brain was tieing those two singers similar vocalizations together. But whatever year that was the internet did exist and I ended up taking forever to google the right combination of words to end up finding the cult. Ended up having to remember Danzig then google artists who sound like Danzig after realizing it wasn't him :P. P.S. had the same issue when heard Chris Isaak on radio with Wicked Game, didnt get any info with it, then thought maybe it was Dwight Yoakam who I heard later singing thousand miles from nowhere. Had to search forever on the internet to find the right person with nothing to go on, ended up at roy orbison. :P I feel your pain. My memory is garbage and often you dont get a DJ introduction to a band name or song name before they dive into a song and then you never hear a song again.
"Love Removal Machine" would be another great song by The Cult. They always cut their own path. Among 80s bands, they were probably the least 80s. Like they were a decade too early. Ian Astury(vocal) and Bully Duffy (guitar) are an amazing 1-2 punch.
I love The Cult. They do have a sound that was distinct from other bands in that era, at least in my opinion. If you liked how he sounded in the chorus of this song you should really check out Sweet Soul Sister. You'll love it.
Every time I hear those first chords of this song… instantly brings on happiness. One of my fave all time bands… was fortunate enough to see them live at the Santa Monica Civic back in the day. So 🔥 live as well! ❤
Would love to see you guys explore this rabbit hole! Love Removal Machine, The Rain, Wildflower, and Edie-Chao Baby. Singer Ian Astbury also sat in with the surviving members of The Doors, he is one of the very few who could do justice to Jim Morrison.
These guys were a weird anomaly for me. And in the best possible way! I can only speak for Chicago and downstate illinois, but their songs were in every club. New Wave clubs country clubs heavy metal clubs punk clubs dance clubs, it didn't matter at some point one of their songs would come on and fill the dance floor, if it wasn't already full. They just seem to cross over anywhere. I still love them, glad you all are into it.
In the late 80's when MTV actually played music videos I would watch this video before leaving to catch the bus to school. It always came on around 6:50 or so like clockwork. Great band and song!!
Yes, and they should do The Call songs Let The Day Begin I Still Believe ( great design ) Or Robert Cray song Smokin Gun U would be surprised on this one.
They started off as "The Southern Death Cult" as an indie band in the early 80's. Became "Death Cult" and later "The Cult". By the time that Fire Woman came out they were heading to a more rock based band, although they did Led Zep covers and stuff like born to be wild as an indie band. I saw them a few times in the mid 80's, what a band. Still love them today.
First and foremost, I love your reaction videos. I love when people step outside their comfort zone to indulge in something different, that they probably wouldn't do without a nudge.......kudos to you both. It seems as though the 2 of you are enjoying The Cult......I would recommend the song "American Horse" off the Sonic Temple album......it's a great and rockin' tune.
Aah, I love that you finally got back to The Cult. Ian Astbury is a hell of a frontman. You can't mistake his voice, it's unique. I can't wait for you to delve deeper.
Your reaction was fun. I’ve been a Cult fan for 30+ years, and yes Ian Astbury is the real deal. Also, one simply can’t be more of a rock star than Billy Duffy on guitar.
Love Removal Machine is a must-listen from The Cult. Even though The Cult came from punk roots, you'll hear elements of AC/DC and Led Zeppelin in this banger.
I've heard one song of the Cult before. Love removal Machine. But this is so awesome... damn, gut to listen to the Cult tonight. Catch up to what I missed.
I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Happy you guys took my request. Fire Woman expresses the charisma of The Cult and Ian the lead singer/frontman is AWESOME in keeping the tradition of frontman in Rock like Robert Plant......Steven Tyler......Freddie Mercury....struts his stuff across the stage!!! Great in Concert!!!!
Yes, which is why he fronted the Doors for awhile...the remaining Doors member really loved him. He killed it with their music. He and Billy are still touring and Ian's voice is still amazing.

Oh my goodness is right! I can't believe you guys are reviewing songs by The Cult!!! Wow, they are waaay off the beaten path. They did lots of really good songs in the 1980s and 1990s and beyond. One of my favs if *Here Comes the Rain* - give that one a listen!
I should’ve been into this band way more as a kid, given my age. I got to see Ian (Singer from The Cult) front The Doors of the 21st Century, which was the surviving members of The Doors and Ian, who made you feel like it was Jim on stage. All-time banger of a performance.
One thing I appreciate about The Cult is how unlike many 80's rock bands they seem to respect women rather that demean them. This came out around the same time as Girls, Girls, Girls from the Crue and Open up and Say Ahh from Poison
The best part of The Cult is the singer's voice....no wait, it's the wailing guitar..no wait, it's their stage presence...no WAIT..ARRRRRGGH! I can't decide. 🤣🤣🤣
I got to see The Cult live in Oct 2019. They were doing a 30th anniversary tour of Sonic Temple which is the album this song is from. Basically they played their set as if they were on the Sonic Temple tour and it was awesome. Other great songs from this album, Edie(Ciao baby), Sun King, Sweet Soul Sister. Great songs from other albums, Wildflower, Lil' Devil, Love Removal Machine, Love, Here comes the rain, probably a few more I am forgetting.
One of my favorite groups from my youth! Ian Astbury an absolute loose cannon frontman and Billy Duffy is a guitar god, this band has been very underrated, such an awesome band to see live!! Ian Astbury fronted the Doors for a short time.
I was working in a record store when Sonic Temple dropped and I bought a copy on cassette. After one listen from beginning to end, I immediately knew it was going to be a classic. Fire Woman is a solid track on an album that, in my opinion, doesn't have a single bad track on it.
So glad you guys came back for another helping of The Cult. "SHE SELLS SANCTUARY" is actually my favorite song from this band -- loved the reaction on that one, too -- and this one is my #2 from them. I play both songs on my bass, and both are a blast. Thanks for this!!! :)
They were considered alternative rock, however this way by their identification, not so much by the style of their music. Check out their song "Wild Flower". This was my favorite song of theirs. Also their song "Edie". You won't go wrong with either of these. Then you can do "Love "Removal Machine" and "Sweet Soul Sister".
You guys finally got back to The Cult. Been my favorite band since 1981 when I heard the opening drum line to the song "SpiritWalker" off the Debut album Dreamtime. Great choice you guys , check out these gems by The Cult Brother Wolf Sister Moon Rain a cover of Born To Be Wild Tiger In The Sun Edie (Ciao Baby) That's just a few to get you started down that rabbit hole
The first time I heard this I grinned at “Smokestack Lightnin’”, a nod to blues god and heavy metal godfather Howlin’ Wolf. (Listen to his songs and you’ll understand why many consider Led Zeppelin thieves.)
I was late to The Cult rabbit hole. My first experience with them was when VH1 (of all places) did a countdown of the 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs of All Time, and The Cult's Love Removal Machine made the list. I often listen to the Ozzy's Boneyard satellite channel and The Cult is played on there from time to time. This song and Love Removal Machine convinced me to pick up some of their albums. Great reaction and please more of The Cult!
This band takes me back to a time that just kicked arse. I was two years from marrying my future ex wife but we had so much fun listening to The Cult. although things did not work out, this band and the memories they were part of…no regrets!
I graduated from HS in 91, and I never thought of The Cult as a hair band...in my mind, they were in the category as Danzig. Whatever you call their music, I love it. Wildflower and Edie Ciao Baby are two songs that are always on my internal juke box. I hope you get to check them out sometime.
When their early album “Love” came out it had an alternate vibe but then they put the pedal down and released “Electric” later followed by Sonic Temple” which this song is from. “Sun King” from this album is also a banger.
Billy Duffy basically changed from Peter Buck into Jimmy Page over the course of those albums, right in front of our eyes and ears. That dude made huge leaps and bounds in his playing album over album.
The Cult had changed their style in the 80's and 90's with each new album, they started out as Goth, Post Punk, Alternative, Hard Rock, Indie and everything in between. They really cannot be classified, definitely NOT Hair Metal 🤘 A band I've loved since the Love album
I don't know what they call themselves, but The Cult is played as frequently as any of the standard bands on the XM radio Hair Metal channel. The channel doesn't have any groups outside the norm (for example, I've never heard Billy Idol on that channel), so fans consider The Cult hair metal.
I love the reaction. The Cult is great. You’re right about them being a little different from other Hair Bands. As a couple of people pointed out, they have Punk/ Indie roots. They were Played a lot in the dance club scene as well so yeah, a little different than a typical “Hair Band”. “Love Removal Machine”, “Lil Devil”, & “Peace Dog” are other good choices.
U guys have some style. Anybody who can react without stopping the song over and over, that's good, that's quality. ❤ For the record, u did the best songs imhop.
The next song you HAVE to react to is “Edie (Ciao Baby).” This song is about Edie Sedgwick, a socialite who formed part of the artist Andy Warhol’s Factory scene in New York in the 60s. She was also featured in several of the films he made during that time. However she lived a troubled life that was filled with mental health issues and drug addiction. She died from an overdose in 1971. Ian Astbury, the lead singer, became interested in her while learning about the band the Velvet Underground, who Warhol managed in the late 60s. Please please please check out this song. Billy Duffy’s guitar work in this song is jaw droppingly good and Ian’s vocals are so on point. You will not be disappointed. I promise! 💜✌🏼
Poor Edie . . . she couldn't even get in the 27 club . . . she was brought back from the dead and lived to be 28. She was truly a wreck in Ciao Manhattan - that vacant look was a soul about to check out permanently.
It’s been a year since they listened to She Sells Sanctuary. They don’t remember how much that tune blew them away. It’s nice to see Amber loosening up and digging the vibes.💪
I've seen hundreds of bands live because I worked in the music and bar business for years. The Cult is definitely in my top 5 live performances. They are the ultimate experience.
this is one of the "3 Ian's" of the roots of post-punk/gothic/darkwave, this being Ian Astbury, the other 2 being Ian Curtis of Joy Division & Ian McCulloch of Echo & the Bunnymen. all three being heavily influenced of course by Jim Morrison, the man whom the term "gothic music" was coined to describe his sound. 💯
Amber, can we get more Brandi Carlile please…”The Story” (perhaps for this Female Friday) it’s the song that really cemented her and the twins in the music scene. Can’t wait to see them again in two weeks!
@@elizabethfranco1284 I'd love to hear them do a Tori Amos song. She was a piano prodigy. "Caught a Lite Sneeze" is my favorite, but "Taxi Ride", "God" and "Silent All These Years" are amazing too.
My favorite song by The Cult. I could watch Ian Astbury sing Fire Woman all day everyday 24/7. The best looking frontman ever, IMHO. And let's not forget that amazing voice. Oh, and the hair. ❤️
So many memories with this band... All my friends from that time are gone. This is bringing all of them back! You all are priceless! Thank you for this!
They got EVERYTHING in this video. There are a ton of call outs to music from the past as well as the moves. Jim Morrison lying on the ground singing angst. Check. The foot movement is a call out to James Brown and Mick Jagger. Lyrics of Smokestacks burning? Howling Wolf. Definitely not a hair band. The Cult carved their own niche and steadily evolved over time. I saw them in the eighties. Guess who opened for them? A unknown, at the time, Guns and Roses. How cool is that. This is the MOST UNDERRATED Band of the that time. They both ahead and behind the curve. If they had cone out in the late sixties or early seventies they would have been a household name. Awesome band.
Aaahhhh the Cult! Soooooo great! They're just as amazing in concert-they sound exactly the same and put on such a great show! Love these guys ❤️ love you guys ❤️❤️🇨🇦
When this comes on the radio for 30+ years while I'm driving. I start air drumming, air guitar, singing. I can't believe I kept it on the road every time. I 😁🤘
This brings me back. My quasi-unique story to share? I grew up in the city where Ian Astbury moved to as a kid and was aware of him as a performer early on. I was too young to be a contemporary myself, but my oldest sibling had mutual friends. We definitely knew who he was when the Cult toured in '89 or '90 (I think with Aerosmith? Maybe? Honestly, I wasn't old enough to drive, let alone have that beer in my hand, so most of my memories of that night were about staying under the radar of security, LOL). But my friends do remember me proclaiming (in that super earnest way you get when you're buzzed) that Astbury was great, but he'd really shine in a Doors cover band. And sure enough, a decade or so later, IA toured as lead on a Doors revival tour with some of the original members!
The Cult had such a cool bluesy hard rock sound. It's too bad they didn't get more recognition in North America with Ian Astbury's vocals and Billy Duffy's insane guitar talents(the whole band is soo good) thx for sharing Rob Squad :)
These guys opened for Billy Idol in the 80's and my jaw hit the floor. I knew them from some of their older songs, which weren't as rockin as this one, but their performance during that show blew my socks off and I was now a Cult fan.

@@Rob-eo5ql Yes! In pure numbers, not a lot of people have been there. Glad someone knew it!
@@NOLAgenX I was at Howard, worked the aerial port, 90-93. Soto Cano (PLA) & Tegucigalpa (TGU). Still remember! lol
This, this all day
I Third This Suggestion. Add in a bunch of their discography to.
Stunning track !! What a singer and a band that’s so unique too….. love them
Holy Hannah, it's been a long time since you've reacted to this band (in fact, it's been exactly one year and one week)!
Here's a YT link - ua-cam.com/video/5oRwlSIn918/v-deo.html
I've never heard of Sisters of Mercy but I'll check them out. Thanks for that tip Patrick. I also agree the Rob Squad needs to visit the Smashing Pumpkins!
Yes, I upvote "Edie." I was gonna say that or "Rise."
25 whores in the room next door... love Sisters of Mercy. :-)
Edie (Ciao Baby) has to be one of the strongest melodies of all the thousands I've heard. Very powerful and moving song.
Also 'Rain' a real classic
Follow up suggestion
'Edie Ciao Baby" (same album ) 🔥
All my sisters were so jealous of the lead vocalist's hair. 🤘❤🤘
"Love Removal Machine" would be another great song by The Cult. They always cut their own path. Among 80s bands, they were probably the least 80s. Like they were a decade too early. Ian Astury(vocal) and Bully Duffy (guitar) are an amazing 1-2 punch.
LRM is great. Earlier stuff is even better.
I love The Cult. They do have a sound that was distinct from other bands in that era, at least in my opinion. If you liked how he sounded in the chorus of this song you should really check out Sweet Soul Sister. You'll love it.
They had that mid-90s sound in the late 80s.....
@@armynurseboy I hadn't thought of it but that's the perfect way to explain their sound.
I didn't know that, but I was absolutely seeing a little Jim Morrison in Ian in this video! Makes perfect sense!
@@mamatay7 There are some videos of him with the Doors on YT
These guys were a weird anomaly for me. And in the best possible way! I can only speak for Chicago and downstate illinois, but their songs were in every club. New Wave clubs country clubs heavy metal clubs punk clubs dance clubs, it didn't matter at some point one of their songs would come on and fill the dance floor, if it wasn't already full. They just seem to cross over anywhere. I still love them, glad you all are into it.
I requested this song. Thank y’all so much for playing it! Y’all Rock!! 🙌🏻👍🏻🤘🏻👊🏻
great choice!!
In the late 80's when MTV actually played music videos I would watch this video before leaving to catch the bus to school. It always came on around 6:50 or so like clockwork. Great band and song!!
If you like The Cult, as I did when I was younger, you should check out The Church. The song Under the Milky Way is amazing! You will both love it 😁
Yes!! I love The Church. Part of the Donnie Darko soundtrack..also Echo and the Bunnymen..Good movie to react to ASAP!!!
Great chill tune.
YES
Yes, and they should do The Call songs
Let The Day Begin
I Still Believe ( great design )
Or Robert Cray song Smokin Gun
U would be surprised on this one.
The Church is an Australian band with deep lyrics and unique subject matter. Most of their songs are classics in their genre
.
Ian Astbury....... Great singer, great band.... Love his voice in the tone of the guitar....
The Cult is an amazing underated band. 💕
Sonic Temple is an incredible album. All of it!
Love Removal Machine is a must-listen from The Cult. Even though The Cult came from punk roots, you'll hear elements of AC/DC and Led Zeppelin in this banger.
I even hear Molly Hatchet.....maybe I'm crazy.
@@davidarwood6264 -i hear The Doors
I've heard one song of the Cult before. Love removal Machine. But this is so awesome... damn, gut to listen to the Cult tonight. Catch up to what I missed.
I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Happy you guys took my request. Fire Woman expresses the charisma of The Cult and Ian the lead singer/frontman is AWESOME in keeping the tradition of frontman in Rock like Robert Plant......Steven Tyler......Freddie Mercury....struts his stuff across the stage!!! Great in Concert!!!!
The Cult, legendary band and incredibly underrated too; still rocking hard to this day!
Love this!! You can hear the Jim Morrison influence in Astbury's voice. Such a classic cut.
Yes, which is why he fronted the Doors for awhile...the remaining Doors member really loved him. He killed it with their music. He and Billy are still touring and Ian's voice is still amazing.
@@jenniferfoster1692 wow, that is amazing info! I didn't know that!! I'll have to hunt down some of their performances. Thanks
@@charlesallen2306 Yes, there are some good videos of them doing some of their greatest songs..the original members were having a ball and Ian is a natural to fill in for Jim.
I just want to say ty for all that you both do I found your channel after my Dad Passed Away last Feb from Pancreatic Cancer , So TYVM for providing me a place to relax and to forget even if it's just for a short time , Thanx again for the smiles keep up the good work .
THANK YOU GUYS!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️👌👍...Guys they have different sounds on each of their albums. They are unique and check out their song WILDFLOWER. ♥️♥️🙏 I've been waiting for y'all to do this and THANK YOU TWO SO MUCH. Y'ALL MADE MY DAY....TRULY.♥️♥️♥️🥰...Their considered indie rock. Even back in the 80s.👍. They have a plethora of great songs I mean fire. Like 50 songs. Yeah really.
Oh my goodness is right! I can't believe you guys are reviewing songs by The Cult!!! Wow, they are waaay off the beaten path. They did lots of really good songs in the 1980s and 1990s and beyond. One of my favs if *Here Comes the Rain* - give that one a listen!
Sweet soul Sister is a must. A solid rock band.
Definitely my favorite cult song
definitely the first like 8 tracks in a row of this album, hard time skipping any.
All of Sonic Temple is a masterpiece, but SSS is absolutely their best song
Now that’s how a lead singer should sing, with passion and emotion!!
Indeed so underrated! I saw Ian with the Doors. He was fantastic.
Ian Astbury, one of the greatest voices of the 80s and alltime
Next Cult song you need to check out: Love Removal Machine
I was working in a record store when Sonic Temple dropped and I bought a copy on cassette. After one listen from beginning to end, I immediately knew it was going to be a classic. Fire Woman is a solid track on an album that, in my opinion, doesn't have a single bad track on it.
I LOVE this song. You have to play this song on full blast driving down the freeway 😎
So glad you guys came back for another helping of The Cult. "SHE SELLS SANCTUARY" is actually my favorite song from this band -- loved the reaction on that one, too -- and this one is my #2 from them. I play both songs on my bass, and both are a blast. Thanks for this!!! :)
The Cult's singer is Ian Astbury. You need to react to "Love Removal Machine" next! This song ROCKS!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Great choice you guys , check out these gems by The Cult
Brother Wolf Sister Moon
Rain
a cover of Born To Be Wild
Tiger In The Sun
Edie (Ciao Baby)
That's just a few to get you started down that rabbit hole
Queensrÿche, “silent lucidity”
You’d love it.
That’s a great one. Eyes of stranger and jet city woman are more fun in my opinion though
I saw them live in 1986. One of the best concerts I ever went to.
Another great one is Painted on my Heart!!
They really cannot be classified, definitely NOT Hair Metal 🤘
A band I've loved since the Love album
I don't know what they call themselves, but The Cult is played as frequently as any of the standard bands on the XM radio Hair Metal channel. The channel doesn't have any groups outside the norm (for example, I've never heard Billy Idol on that channel), so fans consider The Cult hair metal.
The Cult is soooooo good in concert.. 1989 Arizona.
This is a new one for me! Thanks for your reaction youngsters. I can’t help but rock out. ❤️👵🏼🎸🔥☮️
I had forgotten all about them being played at dance clubs! Thanks for the memory.
U guys have some style.
Anybody who can react without stopping the song over and over, that's good, that's quality. ❤
For the record, u did the best songs imhop.
I promise! 💜✌🏼
Sharon. Thanks. You nailed it
Poor Edie . . . she couldn't even get in the 27 club . . . she was brought back from the dead and lived to be 28. She was truly a wreck in Ciao Manhattan - that vacant look was a soul about to check out permanently.
Yes...CIAO BABY
It’s been a year since they listened to She Sells Sanctuary. They don’t remember how much that tune blew them away. It’s nice to see Amber loosening up and digging the vibes.💪
U guys r definitely round out your library!!!Love u guys!!!
saw them in 2019 and they are still amazing live 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I've seen hundreds of bands live because I worked in the music and bar business for years. The Cult is definitely in my top 5 live performances. They are the ultimate experience.
this is one of the "3 Ian's" of the roots of post-punk/gothic/darkwave, this being Ian Astbury, the other 2 being Ian Curtis of Joy Division & Ian McCulloch of Echo & the Bunnymen. all three being heavily influenced of course by Jim Morrison, the man whom the term "gothic music" was coined to describe his sound. 💯
You can't help but bang your head and whole body to this song! So glad I lived through the 80's! It was glorious! 🔥
Ian Astbury
Saw them in concert in 1989 Houston TX. 🤘
Amber, can we get more Brandi Carlile please…”The Story” (perhaps for this Female Friday) it’s the song that really cemented her and the twins in the music scene. Can’t wait to see them again in two weeks!
I second this.
Would love more Melissa Etheridge, Tori Amos, 10,000 Maniacs, Indigo Girls, Sarah McLachlan,Jewel and Avril Lavigne for Friday or any day
@@elizabethfranco1284 I'd love to hear them do a Tori Amos song. She was a piano prodigy. "Caught a Lite Sneeze" is my favorite, but "Taxi Ride", "God" and "Silent All These Years" are amazing too.
The intro to this song always brings a smile to anyone who loves music. When I see someone who has never heard it always has a big smile when it hits.
My favorite song by The Cult. I could watch Ian Astbury sing Fire Woman all day everyday 24/7. The best looking frontman ever, IMHO. And let's not forget that amazing voice. Oh, and the hair. ❤️
They were one of the many New Wave bands that rejuvenated 70s Rock Music in the 80s.
So many memories with this band... All my friends from that time are gone. This is bringing all of them back! You all are priceless! Thank you for this!
Where are you're friends..?
Did you guys see who was beating the skins in the background? Matt Sorum, who went on to play in Guns N Roses!
These guys are just pure Raw high energy, rock and roll.
Another great reaction, thank you both. The Cult are a great band, 'Spiritwalker' is another great track from them, well worth reacting to.
Ya'll be rocking! Love it!
Professional and primal at the same time. Just pure power rock.
the absolute BEST performer. Could watch him for hours
Rain is their most amazing song, absolutely incredible live!!!
These guys opened for Billy Idol in the 80's and my jaw hit the floor. I knew them from some of their older songs, which weren't as rockin as this one, but their performance during that show blew my socks off and I was now a Cult fan.
