You are brilliant. I know you did this video some time ago but if you see this, you have helped me SO much and I really appreciate it! Best wishes from Canada. 🇵🇪 🙏💕😁
I love that you use a light mist of water and then wiping it down after you work on a resin piece. I always learn something new whenever I watch your videos. Thanks for sharing...
I should have watched this before I ordered mine. Thankfully it hasn’t been used and I can upgrade. The extension would make more sense for someone like me with hand issues. Thanks Steve! ❤️
Again thanks for sharing. I am very cautious and I am always safe. I study products, compare, reviews and then buy. So for mother’s Day I got a dremel 4000 series. Love it.
Thanks for your videos!! Hope your doing well with them. I have the exact setup you have with the Dremel. However I tried to polish one of my pieces with my Dremel and it didn’t turn out to well. I started with 80 grit on an electric sander and went all the way to 2000 grit. Anything over the 80 grit was sanded by hand of course. And I am very skilled at sanding as I use to fix vehicle dents. I have seen people go all the way up to 7000 grit paper on UA-cam. I have just begun and haven’t yet learned just how high I need to go with the paper grit to get a glass finish. Anyway I went up to 2000 grit and then polished my piece with Turtle Wax. Not good enough. It was still foggy. I then used tooth paste and rubbed it by hand. It was a huge improvement. It seems as though tooth paste just might be one of the best things out there to put the finishing shine on your a-opoxy resin masterpiece. I did see a video that was talking about what polish to use for the final touch. If I understood it correctly you need a polish that has the abrasion properties of 10,000 grit. I have looked at a couple polishes, one being The Turtle Wax, but have yet to be successful in finding what you might call an abrasive grit rating. Thanks again for all your great videos and the fact that you actually read the comments. I learned quite a bit watching your videos and I hope that maybe my information helps you in some way and anyone else who reads this comment. Anyone feel free to ask what you will. I will gladly help if possible just like the good gentleman who made this video for us. GOD bless to everyone!!.. :))........
This didn't happen to be what I was looking for, but I have to say I did still learn a bit from your video and was amused by your pup and the toy squeak haha. Thank you for taking the time to upload!
You my friend have really helped me with picking out a correct kit and how to handle the residue❤️ you answered all my questions with my new art projects im going to work on. So Thank you! Stay safe
I really appreciate this video. I did a resin project a while ago that's a suncatcher, and the resin shrank away from the edge, I've been trying to figure out how to fix it (without touching it) for months! Thank you so much! I'm'a try this tomorrow after work probably.
Hey Steve. Would you usually dome larger wall hanger piece’s? I made some Christmas items, Santa’s face etc… they are bumpy, and large. I’m hoping you will pass me a word, or make a video on how and what needs a dome and what you use.
Awesome tips, thank you. I have to say I love my Dremel got it 2 years ago for my egg art and it was the best thing I ever got with work vouchers. Wonderful to see that I am going to be using it again when I make some coasters 😊 ❤️🌹
Thank you for all you do and teach! I have a Dremel with a flex shaft attachment and agree 1,000%....they are built like tanks. Mine must be 15-20 years old. i just hang up the motor by the attached loop and away I go!
Do you do a video on cutting resin. I’m going to be starting resin busts and there’s always resin left on the bust in delicate areas and it will need cutting and sanding. Would you have any ideas cheers I’ve got a dremel 4000

I have had the idea of attaching finer grits onto my dremel and large sander, as well. I tried it on the sander with no luck. It was too powerful and threw the attached paper right off. What glue do you use to attach to your dremel? So funny the things we come up with. Maybe we should partner up and manufacture some dremel bits for artists together. Lol! Thanks for the help. Love the channel.
Question: with this same tool could you please tell me how and which attachment to use for making a channel for brass small hinges to set in a resin rectangular flat sheet that is only 1/4”wide edge ~(hinges need to go in edge) ~ 🤷🏿♀️ HELP!!
That was a great video. I have a question regarding fixing spots where the resin didn't completely distribute in the pour -- like on the edges or around the little post in molds for jewelry. It leaves a small hole where resin should have been. Or on a corner, it isn't full. It is always at the base of the mold. If I sand it, it is going to change the shape. Don't know if you have a suggestion for it or not. But I LOVE your channel!!!
Can you just use a drop of uv resin in the eyelet hole to secure them in? Will cured uv resin hold? I can't seem to screw them in...so i drill a hole, coat the eyelet screw part and place it in the hole, holding it in place and hitting it with the uv lamp.
love this thank you! Any chance you could do a video on tricky sanding ? I have a bracelet I made with resin and struggling to get a decent even sand with my little dremel tool almost could do with a concave sanding bit to help with the curved sides! lol
I'm really really (really) looking forward to your sanding video. So glad I found your channel, I plan to give myself a Christmas present by binge-watching your videos!
Hi, I was just wondering how much something like this costs? I'm relatively new to resin and would like to be able to sand and polish my resin without using manual tools (i.e. sandpaper, nail files, that sort of thing) where I won't damage my resin. Do you have any advice for someone on a budget? I already have a hand drill, so that's not required
I am NOT impressed I wish you would have shown how to sand and polish a sphere or an egg shape that was sanded down with a dremel and polished shiny...a coaster is really no challenge at all!
OMG…. I can’t believe I didn’t think about gluing my finer grit sandpaper to the sanding drums! 🤦🏼♀️ thank you!
Same here!
This was a really helpful and informative video, for someone like me who is new to using the dremel on resin pieces. Thank you so much! 🙏

Does Dremel make the step up Diamond sanding pads? Or is that where the creams come in?
