Let me tell you - there have been a few moments setting a drink on one that it threw me off because they dont look flat LOL - thank you for the compliment
Ack! I meant to join in on your premiere but I ended up making coasters!! Haha! I too use a dremel but I don't use the sanding wheel. I should try that. I recently did a product test on using liquid latex on the backside instead of tape and I LOVE it!! So much easier! Thanks for sharing - your coasters are so pretty!
I have tried school glue instead of the liquid latex it works great and much cheaper I used my dental pick that I use for weeding vinyl to start lifting it off and it came off in one piece . It was not my idea but the person who mentioned it voiced a concern for people with latex allergies .
Great tutorial, thank you! Have you ever used a belt sander, router table, or palm sander to smooth them out? If so, is there a reason you prefer the Dremel?
Your shop vac got me thinking. I do my own nails, so I have a vacuum made for nail salon desktops. It's flat, and has replaceable filters, so I'm thinking that would wotk too. I follow a bunch of your advice, and am grateful for all of it.
Very professional finish! Love having a rounded edge on top and leaving it squarecut on the reverse, they look like finished gemstones! How did you get your logo onto the back of them?
Is that tape backing holding the coasters in place while you finish them? I was confused if it was for stability or to prevent epoxy from dripping underneath and getting on the surface. Those coasters are beautiful. Thanks so much for this!
I’ve never tried, it would be tricky, I wonder if one of those cup turners would do the trick.? Another idea is one side at a time. I’d just recommend polishing it
Hey, could u help me out on how to avoid scratches on d coaster, most of my customers complain on scratches. I have done the top clear coating also, plzz help
@@udayprakashk1581 art resin is meant for the wall. Coasters are treated like a countertop and require resin that Is sturdy enough to handle it. Countertop resin is scratch resistant, but not scratch proof art resin doesn’t have the same type of sturdiness (unless the packaging says so) but either way, that is my best guess. My coasters are counter top and stay in great condition and the cats are always sending them flying around during their races - so countertop resin is also cat resistant 🤣
washing in the sink will release all the micro plastic from sanding into the environment, maybe better use a wet wipe that will contain the sanding dust and can be thrown into recycling/ proper waste management.
You do the most beautiful resin coasters on the Internet. Full stop!
Hi, thank you , that is a wonderful compliment!
Oh, I agree! And believe me, I’ve watched them all! 😂 Yours are next level!
The depth and beauty of your coasters is amazing. Far too nice to put a drink on 😍

I did the same thing with liquid latex on one (newbie here) & it worked like a dream! 👍🙂
I love your tutorial. I have started using liquid latex on the back of my coasters and trays. Not cheap, $54 a litre here in Australia 🇦🇺.
Whoa that’s worse than resin costs - I’m going to have to break down and try it, I’ve heard it works, but stinks
@@ResinAsYouWish it smells like ammonia.

Do you have a creation video of these gorgeous coasters?
Very professional finish! Love having a rounded edge on top and leaving it squarecut on the reverse, they look like finished gemstones! How did you get your logo onto the back of them?
Thank you so much!
These are so pretty!! How the eff do you do that?! Did you do the uv resin n do a bunch of layers?
These are beautiful. Do you have thr tutorial for how you made the full coaster?
Hi yes, you can find it here: ua-cam.com/video/MecXEsk9ah0/v-deo.html
Your work is the most spectacular I’ve seen!!! Have you tried liquid latex? I find that very easy to use
thank you! I have been encouraged but just haven't done it yet :-)

Try this carefully under slightly running water. You don’t want the Dremel getting wet. But it’s so much easier and no dust.
Not with the sandpaper wheel. With the first bit or other round flat sanding.
So how do you and off the small divots and get the smooth shine back in this tiny spots?
I want to know how to make this kind of design.
Thank you.
Do you polish the back of the coasters as well?
What did you use for the product stamp on the back of your coaster?
hi, it is a sticker
What is the size of bit. I am wondering if i can use my nail drill for polishing
How do I fix the tiny holes on the side of the coaster? I tried UV resin but the white dot is very obvious. Do I sand it out ? Thanks
After sanding what you coat on coaster, coat means resin or resin +hardner
Can you tell me what resin do you use
Hi, I added the information to the video description - sorry I forgot it originally
عمل رائع ونظيف متقن ومرتب 🌹
I take it you back your coasters with felt to protect surfaces?
Cork or those little clear bumpers
can u stone concrete edge?
Can a person clear coat a pyramid? Tks
I’ve never tried, it would be tricky, I wonder if one of those cup turners would do the trick.? Another idea is one side at a time. I’d just recommend polishing it

Are you using art resin or countertop resin?
@@ResinAsYouWish i use art resin, only for table top i use countertop resin

@@ResinAsYouWish Hey, Thanks for the suggestion and immediate response, waiting to learn more from you🥳
@@ResinAsYouWish 🤣 great info. - too funny about your cat!
While I do find your video very helpful, you speak quietly, which is fine except the music is super loud!
😘
Forgot to 👍🏻 but fixed
