Short but sweet. Thank you Pendon. My first visit was in summer '73. Still in the old nissan hut. I had the pleasure of meeting Roy England a number of times. I joined many others in donating to the fund for the new building. I've visited a number of times since, but been quite a while since last. Much enjoy the videos you have created and watch them often just for the joy of it. Roy would be proud of you all. 👍👍👍👍👍🇬🇧
Thank you for your great comments and thank you very much for being a part of the Pendon journey. Our supporters and Friends are very important to us and to be able to make the museum available and relevant to generations to come.
What a privilege to be the Curator of such an iconic model railroad. Thank you Pendon for taking the time and trouble to record, edit and post such an inspirational video, it is very appreciated.
Many thanks for your comments, we are very pleased you like to see Pendon as was but these special days mean so much to many visitors and help them understand the transition from the Pendon period to today. Our next video should please you though 😉.
The trains of the 30's were so much more 'romantic' and had a lot of 'personality'. Thanks for sharing !
We totally agree and so nice when we have the opportunity to compare them with the modern day sometimes.

Great museum, incredible models - but as for all this modern stuff....Naah. Give us a break, it's anathema at Pendon. Ridiculous.
