I've watched over a dozen Avata 2 reviews and first looks, many of which are very well done and full of detail... but yours is BY FAR the most comprehensive, with smaller details not found anywhere else, all in an easy to digest sensible order of presentation with great images and video to back it up. Awesome, awesome job.
Nice comparison. I have DJI Avata which I love, but this looks so much nicer! Well Maybe, I'll wait until Avata 3 comes out... LOL... By the way, what I like THE MOST about your videos is the fact that you get straight to the point without any silly talk. Keep it up!
5:33 thanks for being the only one that showed this! It definitely seemed much better in the pics, but nice to confirm you can pretty much shoot downward(ish at -85 degrees) without losing most of your fov to the black frame 🙂 Btw the Avata.1 did have sharpness etc. setting for a while now, got it in one of the updates last year.
DJI's service is 2nd to none. They are like the disney of the drone world. I too am very impressed. My drone was not on the care fresh plan but was repaired by DJI is stellar time. The price to repair it was also reasonable. In addition they gave me a high quality DJI embroidered hat. I was very impressed. Will consider buying more DJI products in the future. Def recommend.
Thank you for the very comprehensive video. This answered every question I had with the drone. I regret having to watch 6 other videos from other creators before coming to yours!
Super glad they will make backwards compatibility for the FPV remote controller and Integra. Looks like I'll wait a bit to upgrade. Excellent job covering key features and benefits of the A2.
Since the Avata 2 doesn’t really have landing feet like the first generation model, I guess I’ll just launch from my hands and land the same right into my lap. Great review and break down of each new features.
The original avata looked really cool when it first came out but I knew there was a lot of room for improvement. This is what I was waiting for, nice job!
This was a great job explaining the features. I’ve watched a few and I waisted a lot of time. It’s sad that someone had to make a comment on the 200th video on the Avatar 2 but figure the source. I purchased this Arvata 2 yesterday and I fly a lot your information helped me understand more. Thank you for what you do and for this video. Keep up the good work.
Can't wait for your video wind testing this drone. Almost gave up on the first Avata because of how little control I have in Manual mode while the wind is 15+ mph
DJI refresh is a really good bargain if you're a dummy like me! I totaled out my mini 3 pro twice and they've had me flying with new gear within 3/4 weeks after crashing both times. Seriously good investment if you're not sure about your skills (or you are and just want insurance).
Fantastic review! thank you for going into so much detail. Debating on picking one of these up and your video really helped me out. You have a phenomenally cool accent as well!
Three questions: 1. Do the goggles record footage, or are you using the wifi connection to record the "menu" view on a phone or tablet? 2. Can the 180* Acro happen while in reverse? IE, be moving backwards then flip it around and fly off the same direction you were backing up? 3. Can you do the 180* spin back to back to do a 360* flat spin?
thanks so much, very easy watching to the point and very good advice and details. thanks i have learnt a lot about my new dji Avata 2 before it arrives.
Excellent production as always, informative and concise. DJI has really listened and fixed the main complaints of the original Avata. Definitely appreciating the reduced noise levels, secure battery fitment and image quality. The new easy acro modes are quite promising. Hopefully with future updates, DJI will expand the range of moves/add more customising. I would also like to see a package that includes the remote controller 3 with the fly more combo instead of the motion controller. I`ve been flying stabilised camera drones for a couple years now and I`d really like to make the leap to FPV, this seems like the perfect drone to bridge the gap. Thanks again for sharing this in depth review. 👏
There's no mavic 4 (yet) I think you're referring to the Mini 4 pro, and in that case the Mini 4 pro would be more suitable for a beginner since it's not an fpv
So the record button is still right where my thumb is going to accidentally press it in the middle of a flight? Really hope they’ve at least adjusted it a little so it’s not as easy to accidentally press!
wasn't interested in this when i heard it announced, after seeing your review defo swapping the original version for this ! Goggles look way better, theres 10 bit D-log, the controllers will fly my mini 4 pro and the quality of life updates look ace. Great review!
Great video by far. Thank you. I ordered the new Avata on the 11th. I was told i should have it around the 16th. I am hoping they do a software update that will let me use the new goggles and motion controller with my original Avata.

Just made the purchase now ✅️
Thank you.
You will love it! Enjoy!
7:30 - Noise Comparison that I came here for! Thank you!
Out of all the Avata 2 reviews, this is the most thorough. Everything I wanted to know. Thank you for sharing! ❤
Thank you so much!
Finally an actual review where you learn stuff instead of a vlog review where you learn more about the life of the reviewer than the actual product
I blame Casey Neistat

One of the most detailed reviews. Nice job.
Hope it helped!
Wow. You knocked it out of the park…again. Best drone reviewer online…to the point, great graphics and easy to follow. BRAVO!!!!

This is the best review I’ve ever watched. Very well explained, images were on the drone and footage instead of the talker, and it was succinct.

I usually don’t write too many comments, however this video is super comprehensive and professionally produced. Right on spot! Thanks!
Wow, thank you! Really appreciate that!

Happy my video answered all your questions!
@@TheDroneCreativeI just really want one and am I broke. If not it’s not a big deal just suggesting it :)
The noise reduction and the fact I don't have to have 2 cables dangling from the goggles is why i would upgrade from avata 1
Super glad they will make backwards compatibility for the FPV remote controller and Integra. Looks like I'll wait a bit to upgrade. Excellent job covering key features and benefits of the A2.
Thank you. Happy the video helped!
Great overview - the only Avata video I've watched (and I've watched a lot! 😄) that covers all the features.
Absolutely the best review I’ve seen on the Avata 2. So want this to be my first fpv drone
Since the Avata 2 doesn’t really have landing feet like the first generation model, I guess I’ll just launch from my hands and land the same right into my lap. Great review and break down of each new features.
Best overview I've seen so far 👍🏼
Your videos about drones are just best! Thanks man for your info from videos.
Thank you so much!
oh man ... this is too good. I was considering avata earlier and luckily I didn't make up my mind. Now it's time to get this new one!
The original avata looked really cool when it first came out but I knew there was a lot of room for improvement. This is what I was waiting for, nice job!
Thanks for this comprehensive and hence very helpful look at the DJI Avatas - much appreciated!

Wow, thank you so much! Really appreciate such kind feedback!
No way you already dropped a vid on this new drone! Thanks for this video!!!
haha! It's a super fun drone! Thanks for watching!
Fantastic review Matthew, DJI really have improved it in every way, looking forward to your future videos with the Avata 2.
Thank you! I agree. The Avata 2 feels much more like a "DJI" product, very refined!
@@TheDroneCreative with the new sensor does it once and for all negate the need to add a Action camera?
Very good info explanation especially 12:39 Easy Acro & Drift. Good job
Thanks for comparing the two. Thinking about upgrading
You are welcome. The Avata 2 is a much more refined drone - definitely worth the upgrade in my opinion.
Just bought it today ❤ We just need the weather to get this little beast out in the open. Great video
You will love it! I know the weather has been awful, super windy and always wet! Roll on summer!!
Great review dude! Love the video! ❤

your videos are so informative and perfect... thank you and take care!
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!
Have not have experince with Goggles yet. Do u remember whether felt dizzy at the beginning while using or may be still after a while?
Always great reviews, thanks!

I'm very satisfying about your Avata2 review👍👍👍👍, so detail and audience absolutely learn and know all about this Avata and Google 3 🙏👍👍👍
As always, an absolutely awesome review!! Thanks again! Gonna get me one! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Was hoping to buy the avata and then found avata 2 - There seem to be a lot of changes. Thanks for the video
Thanks, other reviews missed so much relevant information.
Your videos are amazing! Thank you
Thank you so much!
Thanks for the detailed review!🎉💯🙏
Excellent review, thank you!
From 2 to 10 km in CE is huge 🔥
CE gets a massive bump in transmission range. It's great to see!
Was looking for my first drone today, then this video popped up. Great review🫡
Will you still need your avata 1, cuz id be happy to hold on to it for you.
Veru well explained. Thanks for such nice clear review. Charles
The best review and comparison!!
Can you use Goggles 3 on first Avata?
Not currently no. However DJI has said they will be compatible with a future update.
Thank you. This was very informative and well done. The information was very helpful. I'm tempted to get an Avata 2. Cheers!
Thanks for such a detailed and professional review 👍
You are welcome!!
Saw the video, instantly ordered 😂😂
What about the Remote ID thing? Do you still need to connect your phone in order to get it up and running?
Great video..thanks for sharing😊
18:16 that mosquito though 😂
Does DJI mini 4 pro with avata 2 goggles and RC?! Support?
really good review, thanks
Excellent tutorial, thanks.
How's the connection within the EU? Still need a FCC Hack to maintain a decent connection?
I have found the O4 connection to be noticeably better compared to the first Avata!
Thx for the reply, what would you say been the longest distance you could make without breaking connection?
More than connections limitation in EU, biggest problem in lack of power due to c1 class
I'll be super excited when honest non hype reviews drop.
Thanks for the manual alot of info and more.. The best review and insight i have watched. And I seen a couple.
The best explanation for it 👍🏻
Absolutely great review. 👍👍
Thank you so much!
Great detail review! Thank
very informative comparing to avata 1 .
There's a pretty big sale now for avata original at 759 so is this low enough compared to avata 2
Can you share avata 2 files? to see how they can be graded? Pls
Should I get Avata 2 or Mavic 4? It'll be my first drone.
There's no mavic 4 (yet) I think you're referring to the Mini 4 pro, and in that case the Mini 4 pro would be more suitable for a beginner since it's not an fpv

Hello from America,my grandparents came from Dublin 😁
Great video by far. Thank you. I ordered the new Avata on the 11th. I was told i should have it around the 16th. I am hoping they do a software update that will let me use the new goggles and motion controller with my original Avata.
great review. thanks!
When flying in manual can you flip the drone yourself?
Yeah! But remember you need the FPV Controller 3 to be able to fly manually.
