The amount of creators I've seen using Suno AI or something else when a level of quality like this is available is shocking. Probably one of the first UA-camr ads I've actually signed up for after checking out.

I got my hands on the Avata 2 and flew it first time yesterday. A long time user of DJI products ( Osmo, Mavic, Phantom, Air ) but first time FPV pilot and I gotta say the Avata 2 was the most fun I've had flying in quite a while. Took me about 10 minutes to wrap my head around the motion controller and I then I was flying low and fast to the ground, hitting gaps, etc. Very fun drone. Excited to continue to get better at it. Gonna get confident flying it indoors so I can use my Part 107 doing realtor video walkthroughs.

I consider myself an experienced Part 107 pilot. I have film as well as TV series credits for my drone work. I've been into photography since I was 10 years old and even had an enlarger and dark room back in the day. Your explanation of ISO, Shutter Speed, and other photo/video basics, was INCREDIBLE. Even though I have experience with drones and videography, I learned a lot about my first FPV drone from this video. Keep up the great work

I splurged and bought both during the DJI (Aus) Black Friday Sale.
The exciting thing is that you can use the Goggles 3 and Motion Contoller 3 from the Avata 2 (if that's the combo you got) with the Mini Pro 4. There's a Vid from a Scandinavian guy showing how it all hooks together, but I won't post the link here out of respect to this sites Author.
I'm not sure yet if you can use the Goggles 3 and RC-2 instead of the Motion Contoller 3 for the Mini 4 Pro should you prefer to fly with sticks rather than the Motion Contoller 3. It should be theoretically possible since the all run the O4 protocol. More research required there...

Very useful video! One thing I have discovered is that the menus presented when using the motion controller aren't as complete as those when using the Goggles3 5D buttons. Format SD cards, and Start video on take-off are two examples. The Activa 2 is certainly a different beast compared to the Mavic Air it it replacing!

At 12:15, you mention the “center x allows you to see the direction the drone is flying.” Great point, but what’s also important is the “circle” which is the aiming point of where you want the drone TO FLY. So put the circle on the narrow gap, and the x should go to follow it.

Hello, im no expert so take whatever i say with a grain of salt. Regarding the image stabilization i would honestly recommend not having it on and having fov on wide so that you can later put it into gyroflow to stabilize it. Not sure how big of a difference is there in the stabilization on avata vs avata 2 (im using avata) but unless you are very experienced you might make small mistakes where the drone wobbles. Now even if u want to stabilize it in edit it wont let you since the avata stabilized it in rocksteady and you dont have motion data for it.

I've got the neo fly more combo, but now if i want the goggles n3, I'll also have to purchase the motion controller. i think it's worth buying if they could make it compatible with the Dji Mini 4 pro.. thanks for sharing ian and try to have a word with dji and tell them we need compatibility 😂😂 😁👌👍 🇬🇧

Not sure why a beginner should turn OFF Beginner mode? While still learning the controls of mine, I leave it on and flew around my garage for practice. No winds, people, or much anything else to worry about. It was a safe place, needed slow movement, and controlled lighting while I learn how to use it. My Mini 3 and 4 Pro stuff is a whole other experience for sure! Thanks

I turned it off after 20seconds. Worst feature ever.
It's pretty easy to learn w/o it as long as you use common sense 😂

great job as always. so I’m a drone pilot, mostly flying regular quads, but I’ve noticed that my 3.5-inch quad handles the wind better than the Avata. When it comes to the Avata, I see two perspectives: the video captured by the Air Unit, which looks stunning, and the live feed in the goggles, which, in my opinion, is TRASH
The feed in the goggles feels shaky, and wind effects seem exaggerated-much more noticeable compared to flying regular quads. This isn’t something I usually deal with.
I’m curious-what does your goggles feed look like while flying the Avata? Am I doing something wrong, or is this a common experience?

Hi there , i noticed that your drone is wonky like mine . when its in normal or sports mode and ii get a bit of height then the footage looks like its on a slant. ref: 13:02 . do you know why this is ? its real annoying
