I got my hands on the Avata 2 and flew it first time yesterday. A long time user of DJI products ( Osmo, Mavic, Phantom, Air ) but first time FPV pilot and I gotta say the Avata 2 was the most fun I've had flying in quite a while. Took me about 10 minutes to wrap my head around the motion controller and I then I was flying low and fast to the ground, hitting gaps, etc. Very fun drone. Excited to continue to get better at it. I splurged and bought both during the DJI (Aus) Black Friday Sale. The exciting thing is that you can use the Goggles 3 and Motion Contoller 3 from the Avata 2 (if that's the combo you got) with the Mini Pro 4. There's a Vid from a Scandinavian guy showing how it all hooks together, but I won't post the link here out of respect to this sites Author. I'm not sure yet if you can use the Goggles 3 and RC-2 instead of the Motion Contoller 3 for the Mini 4 Pro should you prefer to fly with sticks rather than the Motion Contoller 3. It should be theoretically possible since the all run the O4 protocol. More research required there...

I was busy but in reality I was scared and since 2 days I am setting it up and was looking for a video like this.. Thank you so much for an awesome informative video mate. Really helpful. :)

Very useful video! One thing I have discovered is that the menus presented when using the motion controller aren't as complete as those when using the Goggles3 5D buttons. Format SD cards, and Start video on take-off are two examples. The Activa 2 is certainly a different beast compared to the Mavic Air it it replacing!
At 12:15, you mention the “center x allows you to see the direction the drone is flying.” Great point, but what’s also important is the “circle” which is the aiming point of where you want the drone TO FLY. So put the circle on the narrow gap, and the x should go to follow it.
This is a great video! I been doing short videos for tattoo shops and honestly right off my laptop. I'm learning as I go and letting my flying do my work.
