The amount of creators I've seen using Suno AI or something else when a level of quality like this is available is shocking. Probably one of the first UA-camr ads I've actually signed up for after checking out.

If you're using the small, single handed control unit, how can you, if you can, adjust the angle of the drones camera? So if you're hovering, you can either look up or down using the drones camera.

Ever tried a tiny whoop mate? I got a mini 3 pro for xmas and got really into fpv. Now i have a meteor 65 and its like another world.
I got my hands on the Avata 2 and flew it first time yesterday. A long time user of DJI products ( Osmo, Mavic, Phantom, Air ) but first time FPV pilot and I gotta say the Avata 2 was the most fun I've had flying in quite a while. Took me about 10 minutes to wrap my head around the motion controller and I then I was flying low and fast to the ground, hitting gaps, etc. Very fun drone. Excited to continue to get better at it. Gonna get confident flying it indoors so I can use my Part 107 doing realtor video walkthroughs.

@@John-ne8uoFAA part 107 is the remote pilot licensing regulations. That commenter must have a remote piloting certification from the FAA
@@John-ne8uoif you are filming indoors you don't need a part 107; only filming outside. So you can do real estate videos without a license inside, but exterior shots you need it. The FAA has no jurisdiction indoors

Please do a new video, updating what are best drone apps now. Especially since your last video was a year ago and AirMap is no longer supported. AirMap was an awesome international airspace guide, but I don’t know what is best to replace it in May 2024.

How to edit the writings on the screen
I recently ordered myself to get some nice camera footage. So far the device is quite nice and easy to use, but my biggest complaint is the camera. No matter how much I tune my settings in DLOG is still outputs a very grainy, overexposed image. Are there any settings that might help with this?
Isnt a new out of the box combo with Avata 2, Goggles 3 and motion controller already bound to each other?
They are merely linked to each other but not bound to your account.

Thanks so much for this amazing guide. I just checked and I don’t seem to have an advanced camera settings option in the camera menu. Any idea why?
Propeller guards are not field replaceable therefore this is not a travel friendly drone. Neither is it business friendly if you are using it for your e.g real estate business. It needs to be sent back to DJI for guard replacement, therefore your business will have downtime. This was a HUGE mistake by DJI designers.
This is why as a business you need a backup, so you buy a second Avata 2
Stop crashing! LOL!
Antennas are inside the prop guards is why they are not user replaceable.
I consider myself an experienced Part 107 pilot. I have film as well as TV series credits for my drone work. I've been into photography since I was 10 years old and even had an enlarger and dark room back in the day. Your explanation of ISO, Shutter Speed, and other photo/video basics, was INCREDIBLE. Even though I have experience with drones and videography, I learned a lot about my first FPV drone from this video. Keep up the great work

I just got my Avata 2 fly more combo a couple days ago. When i go into settings to enable PIP, I do not have a option for that. I have real view 2D and can switch that to 3D, Just no option for PIP below it. Am i missing something or did DJI take that away for USA drones?

Nice. But, i have to say that turning the grid lines on in an urban environment, is very confusing, because many times i thought that i was near to an electric line, and finaly i was looking at the X of the grid lines. So, i turned it off

Not sure why a beginner should turn OFF Beginner mode? While still learning the controls of mine, I leave it on and flew around my garage for practice. No winds, people, or much anything else to worry about. It was a safe place, needed slow movement, and controlled lighting while I learn how to use it. My Mini 3 and 4 Pro stuff is a whole other experience for sure! Thanks

I bought my avata because of your amazing content and tutorials and now i got the avata 2 as well and about to set it up. Keep up the great work :D Btw do you recommend turning off the EIS on the Avata 2 if i'm going to use gyroflow or should i leave on the rocksteady option ?
That's awesome! If you want to use Gyroflow you must turn off Rocksteady and set the FOV to wide to have the drone store the gyro data to the video file.

I bought Avata 2 the day of release and guess what! Unboxed it just 2 days ago ( Yes all enthusiast must be like Whattt). I was busy but in reality I was scared and since 2 days I am setting it up and was looking for a video like this.. Thank you so much for an awesome informative video mate. Really helpful. :)
I NEED YOU TO MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT THE DJI AVATA 2 only supporting MP4 and not MOV. The Avata 1 supported both. Hopefully in the future they will have a software update where it can support both MP4 and MOV. I use a iPhone which is why I need the Avata 2 to start supporting MOV.
At 12:15, you mention the “center x allows you to see the direction the drone is flying.” Great point, but what’s also important is the “circle” which is the aiming point of where you want the drone TO FLY. So put the circle on the narrow gap, and the x should go to follow it.
Do you know (if I may ask) if there is a way to TILT the cam of the Avata 2 using the latest Motion Controller DURING a flight other than HEAD-TRACKING... I noticed that the little rotating wheel on the Motion Controller only tilts the cam of the Avata 2 up/down when still on the ground... I think even before stsarting the motors... Of course with the FPV Controller 2 it is possible...

One issue I have with the avata 2 I’m having problems with is its range. I’m only achieving about 300m is that its limit in CE?
Also, like other DJI products, can you set advanced safety settings. For example when it loses signal, allow the drone to hover in place/land. I can’t seem to find advanced safety settings.

Hello, im no expert so take whatever i say with a grain of salt. Regarding the image stabilization i would honestly recommend not having it on and having fov on wide so that you can later put it into gyroflow to stabilize it. Not sure how big of a difference is there in the stabilization on avata vs avata 2 (im using avata) but unless you are very experienced you might make small mistakes where the drone wobbles. Now even if u want to stabilize it in edit it wont let you since the avata stabilized it in rocksteady and you dont have motion data for it.

Really well done mate, I'm new to fpv and just picked up the Avata 2 with RC3. I really wish the controller worked with the DJI virtual flight game so I could practice though. This is hands down the best video I've watched so far on the AV2. Cheers.

I am saving a link to this video to my Notes. Yet I stopped using grid lines because I do commercial real estate in urban areas when I almost hit power lines confused with the grid lines.
Hi have you tried using the avata 2 with the fpv rc3 controller? I can Start the motor with the Combination Stick Command CSC from rest but cannot Stop the motor using the same, is this normal?
I have a tough time getting the double tap to work by finding the special spot. I see you using two fingers, saw others vids indicate using a single finger…guess I’ll keep trying…thanks.

Shouldn't I set the aspect ratio to 4:3 if I use gyroflow to stabilize? Has more data on to and bottom since it s the native resolution isn't it?

Just the left one. This is because the left stick becomes the throttle in manual mode - so you don't want it to center automatically as that would mean the throttle is always at 50%!

Is anyone else having difficulty finding "advanced camera settings"? Just not an option on my camera menu. I've checked that I scrolled completely down. Must be doing something wrong?
Mine only shows up when the drone is also on and paired with the gimbal protector off. If the drone isn't on and connected, some settings do not show up
Hi there! I bought mine yesterday, after first configuration and Fly indoor, it doesnt hover :( moves to the sides or one direction while i dont push any botton on the motion controller. I calibrate the IMU, and the other settings and still doing this. Perhaps its a signal problem? Anyone With the same thing?
Problem of this is because is dark in the room a the sensors doesn’t work try it with more light ??

Great video! I don't think I'll ever fly FPV ... Way too much to try and figure out how to learn to fly without crashing!
I thought the same thing, but the Avata 2 is amazing to learn on. It’s my first FPV, and I’m already shooting gaps and zipping around at full speed. No crashes yet, only bumped a few things when I got too close, lol. It’s a blast!

Then it's already bound to your account, likely from the initial registration, where Refresh was already linked to the drone flight controller serial number by the reseller when you bought it.
