Best bean dip recipe EVER! Yeehaw!! Just got your new cookbook (it’s a whole lot more than a cookbook!) and it’s gonna be a treasured item for years to come! 🤠
Yes Sir it’s just an amazing book and I absolutely love it and will pour over the information and get to cooking’! Thank you for creating what’s sure to be a legacy cookbook and piece of Cowboy literature!
Kent, when your little Darling done her thing adding the goodies she lives. I died laughing , I mean tear jerking belly hurting laughing. Then how she worked you there on the end before you spotted the add on. Thank you for making my day. I needed a great laugh. Keep up the great work. Hopefully sometime soon I'll get up your way , meet your Darling and sip a cup of coffee at least and catch up a bit. Have a BLESSED AND GREAT DAY
Looks so good 🎉🎉. Love the dance Kent God bless you and your family. We missed Cletus!!! The neighbors dog 🐶🐶!!! Miss Shannon I loved how you add the black olives. That was sweet🎉
I've been watching for about a year, my father showed me your channel. He just passed away a week ago. I wanted to thank you for giving us something to watch together and learn from and I will remember and cherish those moments everytime I watch you now.
I used to be a black olive hater, then I learned to enjoy them just a small slice at a time on pizza or nachos. One every three or four bites adds a neat bit of brininess.
I've used so many of your recipes and tricks for cooking so often that my dad will say "Who taught you that trick? The cooking cowboy?" I say YES, absolutely. This dip looks delicious!
oh boy, that is the old school 7 layer I remember growing up in Arizona, thank you for that trip down memory lane, you hit it right on the nail head, "don't buy 7-layer dip at the store" and for sure the best and only Guac is what you make at home, god bless, thank you for another great video
It's finally getting warmer here in Estonia, and we are planning to try out some recipes from the good ol Cowboy Kent Rollins! We discovered your channel this winter and now we have a whole book of recipes and all thanks to You! About this dip... Never have we ever considered that dip could be so rich in flavour! And it's a little too extreme for us, but we will do our best to recreate this masterpiece this summer! Much love from Estonia, Tallinn! And God bless You and your Family!
Ayo if you know my boi Artur Rehi, tell him we love him here in the US. Much respect to Estonia and all the Baltic countries for their strong resolve against the Russian war machine in Ukraine.
I know! Rite!! 😊 LMBO!!! I personally like Black Olives (once in a while) in 7 - Layer Dips and occasionally, on my Nachos; but I was ABSOLUTELY ROLLIN' w/laughter, when Kent said that, & then proceeded to pick them all off the top of that dip!! 😅 On the other hand, I can't get over how 2 of my step-granddaughters (the 2nd oldest when she was 3 or 4 and the next to youngest, who'll be 4 in June), will pick them right off of various foods, & start shovin' in their mouths, before eating anything else!! 😊 Gotta Love Those Grandbabies!! ❤ LOL!!! Ron H. Abilene, TX.
If you are using spanish olives, then I can understand why you would not want them; they are horrible. Instead, try greek kalamata olives; they are great.
Thank you very much @CowboyKentRollins !!! We love it! I'm 63 and not much gets me as excited anymore like the 7 layer dip! WOO HOO!!! You're the best!
Cowboy Kent and bean dip??? You just know it's going to be next level. It's gair-ohn-TEED, in the words of the late, great, Justin Wilson. God bless you and yours, Cowboy.
Shannon sneaking in the black olives was a classic. Loved it lol. Thank you both for all u bring to the cooking world. Yes thank you veterans my brothers and sisters. 🍺🍻👍
I have all three of your cookbooks now. LOVE the photos and stories. My grandbabies are looking forward to making some of your dishes this summer, when school is out. Thank you and Shannon for sharing your talents.
The best pickled jalapeño peppers in the world are Mezzetta brand Deli-Sliced, totally awesome. And in my opinion the best sharp cheddar cheese is Tillamook brand cheese, I live in OREGON so you know I’ve got to go with Tillamook cheeses👍
@@RLKmedic0315 I use Mezzetta brand picked jalapeños for the convenience and this brand has a unique taste and flavor that I have not found in other brands. But if you like fresh awesome. Mezzetta brand is just the right amount of hotness I’m looking for to add to my food dishes
@@MrMopar413 I get it, 100%. I just do not like the pickled flavor in guacamole, so I always go with fresh. But I actually do like pickled jalapeños on lots of other things.
Hi Kent, I just wanted to let you know how much my little cousin loves your channel. Every time I see him, he asks me if I saw the new cowboy recipe. His parents bought him his own cast iron skillet, and he always has to wear his cowboy hat when he's cooking something.
Years ago I had no taste for guacamole, then I grew up and yes found out it wasn't duck poo. Gotta have some guacamole at least once a week now. Looking real tasty Ken.
I love a 7 layer bean dip and that looks great! Sorry Kent, but I agree with Shannon, black olives are good! Thank you so much for a great video. Y'all have a Happy Sunday my friend! Cheers!
I didn't think I could respect and admire Kent anymore than I already did, until he started chucking those disgusting black olives off of the top of his glorious 7 layer bean dip. Jerimiah Johnson nods approvingly. Carry on.
If it wasn't spicy I would have left the olives out.. But if there isn't much spice then pour those olives on... Great video.. I love y'alls sense of humor...
That is some deeelicious looking bean dip! I do want to thank Shan for trying to get those black olives on top. Black olives are one of the tastiest little morsels we have access to. 😋
Took the words right out of my mouth. I've never enjoyed olives, green or black, and to me they ruin food for me especially when people just say "scrape or pick it off" then there's no point in eating it at that point. I've always felt like this toward ketchup, mustard, bell peppers and onions (onions are slowly growing on me a little bit).
Shannon you did good and black olives probably be the top of the eighth needs I love everything he cooks but I'd have to agree with you with the black olives
🤣🤣 Shan and I are on the same page with them olives! This does look amazing, though a clear glass container might have made for a better presentation from the side. Either or looks amazing!
Some of the people that worked for me years ago were Hispanic from Mexico but lived in Northside fort worth tx. I would help fix the plumbing on there house for free. They are great people and in return I got to eat real Mexican food cooked all day while we fixed things and they shared the recipes with me that they make on the farm in Mexico. I can cook l would love to share some recipes with you.
My pup will take my spatula or spoon when outdoor cooking too! Kent, I am looking forward to making your version of the 7 layer bean dip except mine will have olives. I'll have to side with Shannon! God bless your family!! 😃👍
I make refried beans. Judt take black beans add cumin cyanne paprika chilli powder onion and garlic powder salt pepper. Add water as it cooks. Cook untill mushy stir add more water. Until the consistency is the way yuu like it

So sorry for your loss
I’m with you Shannon, sliced olives are a must. Put the dip in the ice box after each layer, will make it easier for the next one.
I used to be a black olive hater, then I learned to enjoy them just a small slice at a time on pizza or nachos. One every three or four bites adds a neat bit of brininess.
Bless you both, and especially Shannon for putting the olives on to make this dip even better. (Which is hard to do, looks good already).
Always Look Forward to Your Show Kent sending respect to a true gentleman, 👍 Allan from the UK 🇬🇧
Thanks so much for watching
love you kent i lost my grandma who was the main person who helped me go to the old western times

Yes Sir Santee was right. Mr Kent's happy dance can't be beat! He's the best for sure!
It ain't no 7 layer bean dip without olives. I think shan knows what she is talking about on this!!

Ken Black olives are Good and There good in Pasta Salad!
Looks great. We like ours with taco seasoned ground beef and olives. Cream cheese in the beans is a good idea as is onion dip. 😊

That bean dip looks incredible! I wonder how it would taste if we did a short cold smoke on the bean dip with cream cheese.
