He does love America 🇺🇲
Richard is my absolute favorite actor. What a dream it would be to meet him 🙏
Loved him in close encounters and stakeout
American Graffiti is my favorite Richard Dreyfuss movie.
bringing back happy memories saw jaws when i was 8 still remember my mom holding on to me lol it was a fun movie and scary richard is a phenomenal actor so many great movie performances he gave us @_@
Hes an absolute treasure. Mr Hollands Opus is one of my most favorite films. It touched me soul.
✨Thank you for this Excellent interview!! 🥰
Close Encounters, Jaws, What about Bob
A timeless summer classic 🦈 JAWS 1&2 are great
You’re half right. 😊
@@radiogirl85 He's entirely right. 'Jaws 2' is a good film and was a summer film and highly successful.
'Down & Out In Beverly Hills' is hilarious! One of my favorites!
I was the one who asked him about doing the voice of Moses. I shared this panel with my pastor and he wasn't sure what Richard was talking about in regards to lines in the Bible like that. What is true was that they were instructed to kill everything in Jericho. His theory was because the people of Jericho were possibly "people of the enemy." He doesn't have a clear but admits that it is an uncomfortable part of the Bible.
Love Shaw and Scheider in Jaws. But there is something about Dreyfuss' personality that just popped off the screen and made you want more. To this day I will argue that Shaw and Scheider made Jaws, but it would not have been as successful without Dreyfuss. His character filled that movie with everything it needed. Brilliant. and if you've never seen Nuts, do yourself a favor and see it now. So great.
wow he looks honestly 65 years old not 75 as he mentioned god bless him
Great video!!!
The man to talk about his adventure with his friends to find the body of a boy named Ray Brower in a classic movie of 1986, Stand by me.
I agree with him on what he was saying at the end, but, I do kind of feel sorry for the people who just wanted to talk about Jaws and his movies. LOL!
Richard has never done a convention before. He needed to warn us all. We being lied to
Actually, he's done a few. He was at a Monster Mania Convention some years back.
@@FandomSpotlite ok great. He has done 3 over a 50 year period.

Show me
the way to go home I'm tired an I wanna go yo bed .
I enjoy humor in movies even in scary horror situation it helps often and thank you for the video .
He's 75 get it ?
I wish I could hangout with him and just eat a bowl of ice cream and watch the sunset.
A genius actor he was in the original Jaws movie of 1975. I like that movie. He was lucky the shark did not killed him.
"Was the shooting star added digitally?" 🤣
There was no digital back then. No computers. No cell phones.
15:20 Same! Scares me every time I see it as if it were the first time.
I absolutely adore Richard Dreyfuss I have loved him all my life and I love most of his movies but one movie stands out more than the others and that is the buddy system with Susan Sarandon and Jean Stapleton and the other one that I adore is the Goodbye Girl
He acted, as vice president Dick Cheney in the movie, W of 2008.
He's right. The average American can tell you in detail the plot of Game of Thrones but can't give you even the basic description of the roles of the three branches of government. That's not going to end well.
I'm reading the book Ricky.
I just watched a teens react to jaws, they said they liked the young guy marine biologist, they didn’t even know who he was 😂
Can you cal this a "panel" with only one person?
Regarding Dreyfuss' "feud" with Robert Shaw, Roy Scheider has spoken of this often. Maybe Dreyfuss simply took it as hazing from a veteran actor and so didn't take it personally. But Scheider said, if I recall, that Shaw was a mean drunk... or at least mean to Dreyfuss. Not sure why he'd claim that if it weren't true; he seemed genuinely sympathetic to Dreyfuss' plight.
The doctor from What About Bob, who gets problems from his most dependent patient when he follows him to his vacation home.
I bet they later sold that microphone on Ebay for a million dollars. Description reading: "Official ComicCon microphone partially consumed by legendary actor Richard Dreyfuss. Authentic DNA spread across said product." XD
Hot take: Richard Dreyfuss won the oscar for the wrong 1977 movie
I bet the two movies of his he doesn't like are Down and Out in Beverly Hills and Another Stakeout 😂
I'm thinking, "Krippendorf's Tribe" and "The Competition" (Nominated for Worst Actor)
Wow that was epic. That guy's awesome.
He killed my buzzz…lol
Shark humor .
Shark : " hi everyone
I'm even bigger Jaws . "
Peter : " shut up Meg . "
got a whale of a tail I tell you lads a whale of a tail or two .
I don't wanna be buried in a pet cemetary I don't want to live my life again .
the female victim of Jaws had dandruff do you know how anyone could tell ?
because they found her head and shoulders washed up on the shore .
Cheers , Seinfeld ,
and even bigger Jaws was filmed in front of a live studio audience not all got eaten .
I love Julia always .
Richard Dryfess, Needed To Speak Up & Enounciate His Words, If He Wants The People To Hear & Understand Him !!!!!!
He was bored shirtless I'm sure, he doesn't like fans and prefers to be paid for doing f all. Look at the state of him here.... he shuffles onto the stage to rapturous applause, takes four years to reach the chair, doesn't use the mic when speaking, dressed and looking like some senile, geriatric escapee from a nearby nuthouse.
He has Parkinson’s disease.
Is Richard high or signed out from the facility....and did he not want a table?
He seems extra coherent and very wide awake. You seem to be sleepy
@@SilverWealth_Draper_Mint After watching the whole thing, he def came alive at the end there, but def an odd convention appearance, no?
@@frank39490Yes and possibly has some medical things going on?
@Frank Dux So? Christopher Lee Did conventions into his 80s and had more vigour and life in him than Dreyfuss.
If he does another in 5 years time, are we to expect him confined to an iron lung which is wheeled onstage and all communication given by flashlight signals?
This is not the same story he has told before.
I thought he was funnier than Bill Murray in What about Bob? So F Bill Murray!
Deaf MOVIES Benjamin Parent ASL English Deaf Language UA-cam TV 🎬 Talk Hello you Talk Good MOVIES Jaws
Geezus.... c'mon Richard.... people want to know about the movies.....grumpy old man
Sting is sending
out an SOS .
and one more thing that's some bad hat Harry don't have a cow man also lucky is a Family Guy .
It looks like he may have Parkinson’s. 😔
Enough of Jaws already the shark looks plastic and the middle part was a snooze fest.
Had to click off after first minute, felt uncomfortable, hope it got better and I still think shameful what Spielberg did to all of us being afraid to swim in the oceans and even lakes because of that movie. Seriously millions of people could no longer enjoy swimming in open waters.
He was good as Hooper but every interview I've seen of him, I've liked him less. He always comes across extremely pretentious, self-important and dismissive of his fans. Its a shame he spent most of his career bemoaning that interviewers seem to only be interested in talking about 'Jaws', but i'm afraid Richard, without 'Jaws', your career would be utterly forgettable and your face would be unknown.
The bollocks he talks here about the feud between him and Robert Shaw being fictitious, is an exercise in futility. Steven Spielberg and Roy Schieder or on film discussing it so good luck with that sophistry, orchestrated purely because he is tired of talking about it probably. He is also one of the only Jewish men in Hollywood who has no sense of humour.
Is he drunk.
