I am now soon to be 51 years old and have been a fan and respected Andrew 'Since 'class' and continue to do so and watching this just now just show's how genuine a person he is as well as being a very talented one 'although the later I already new' and I wish him all the best and would like to just say thanks for all those treasured memories.
He's a really talented travel writer. I read his book a few years ago and several of his articles. He's had some amazing journeys. His thoughts on why we should travel are spot on.
Had the privilege of meeting him and he was so incredibly sweet! He actually shook my mother's hand. She has Parkinson's and was in a wheelchair and wasn't sure he would shake her hand or not. So she was thrilled!
I'm a big Fan of Andrew , very underated even though he's abit older now I think he's aged well and I hope I see him in some future movie and T.v. roles.
Larry and Richard thought they were going to have a great time at the beach house where Bernie Lomax lived. Then, it turned out into a complete nightmare when Bernie was killed by the killer.
Has anyone seen Andrew in Night of the Running Man? It's one of my favorites roles/movies of his. So underrated but an actually decent action flick, also co starring Scott Glenn and John Glover!
Yeah I seen it recently... it was a great film and Night of the Running Man is in my top 100 favorite movie of all time. If you want to see Andrew playing a villain, I recommend the movie Getting In (1994) and Dream Man (1995). Also the movie Escape Clause (1996)...
@@Jay-yc2eo Awesome to find someone who also enjoyed Night of the Running Man😊 I’ve seen Escape Clause but the others I’ll definitely check out. Thanks for the suggestions!
@@jojems68 Escape Clause is so awesome even it is budget and tv movie. I noticed on the film every industry has corruption for example Insurance, Police Force, CIA and the Psychiatrist of Richard Ramsey (Andrew).Ramsey and police Lt Farrand are both victims of insurance fraud and twisting of an Insurance company . For me, sometimes Budget movie is better than Major film. Don't forgot also... Year of the Gun (1991) starring Andrew and Sharon Stone. The movie was set in Italy and all the supporting cast are Italian. The movie was intense and intriguing. Less than Zero (1987) is also great movie.
Mannequin was the peak of his commercial popularity and then Weekend at Bernie’s 2 years later . None of the other brat pack were the lead in the 80s in a film as popular as Mannequin.
He's an older family man now who's lived through life and a high profile one at one time. I can't imagine what kind of response you were expecting. What more do you want?
Mannequin, St Elmo's fire, Class, and Weekend at Bernie's were some of my favourites.
Class was a great movie watched it since I was a kid.
@@JoeBuck207 Same man, my dad watched it i tagged a log and i loved it

I’m 25 and “Weekend at Bernie’s” is my favorite movie to be set on a beach.
Heaven Help Us is my favorite McCarthy film, I'm so glad he mentioned it.
I wish Johnathan Silverman was there with him. They were both awesome with Terry Kiser while he was dead.
he looks great for 60.

Such a 80s icon. I wish he was still super active. He's had such classic roles.

He’s @ peace w/himself and great love for his place in 80s/90s movie history.
Mannequin suave✨🥰
Been loving his work since I was a kid. I am watching Good Girls, and he was SO GOOD on that!
Wow… he seems like a pretty real dude.
Larry and Richard thought they were going to have a great time at the beach house where Bernie Lomax lived. Then, it turned out into a complete nightmare when Bernie was killed by the killer.
He’s a great actor and a really good director!
Always thought Andrew looks a little like Tim Matheson.
Brat: an 80s story was a great book👍he should write Brat2: a90s story👍👍
Love Andrew’s new book, “Walking with Sam”. Terrific! All his books are!

He's barely changed lol He's still adorable.
Hes so interesting! I could listen to his stories all day.
Andrew McCarthy and Harrison Ford are my favorite actors. interesting to hear Andrew has recovered some of his New York accent 😊
lol. frank bello asking a question. classic
The beach house where Bernie lived, was not in NY, it was filmed in North Carolina.
Wow what an awesome person he is!
60 but looks and act like his teen still 😂👍
Man!!! He needs to come to Michigan!!!!
I’m in the middle of reaching “Walking with Sam” and it’s well written. He’s deeply sensitive and very open.
Great Actor

He still looks fantastic. Love his movies!
An exciting movie of 1988, I always laugh so hard at that movie. Back when movies were done excellent and it worked out fine.
Amazing how his hair still dense full since the movie...
This panel had almost nothing to do with weekend at Bernie's.
How are they gonna not be there with him…ughh.
Oops I meant “in the middle of reading”
7:38 Dude. No need to go off on a rant about who and why.Answer the question and move on.
They got called Bratpack cause they behaved like bratts
