Just when I think 2020 can’t get any more stupid, you guys go and do something like this and totally redeem the hell out of what you can.
I just realized the opening guitar riff sounds identical to the opening riff to “Head Down” by Soundgarden. Knowing they were friends with Chris Cornell, it’s no surprise. Possibly an intentional nod to their deceased friend?
What an odd little Avett song. Might be the most unique Avett song I've heard in 10 plus years following the band. I like it but it is definitely a strange one.
