I absolutely adore this band and each individual in it that contributes to their gorgeous music. It is simply soothing, healing balm for the ailing heart. {I.and love.and YOU } And thank you, Bob, for wearing your double mask. We know how much you love your beautiful daughter and family and your good example means a lot.
I was crying happy tears and had goosebumps by the end of the set. I just love The Avett Brothers so much. Their music has brought me out of some really dark depression over the past decade. They just bring so much joy my life.
Seth is so expressive and the person behind the camera definitely noticed. They're so dang talented; their best performances really come through in settings like this-- stripped down and just full of heart.
Just saw the Avett Brothers live this past week for the first time...what a powerful, enriching experience. Will definitely be seeing them as often as possible moving forward!
Thank you for so many years of such world class music and interviews, etc. The Avett Brothers are my favorite of all time and this was a joy to watch 💜
@Tom Bosson lol wow that is a really obscure song choice, color me impressed 😂 What I think is funny is how they released the Oh What a Nightmare album after they had already released a few Avett Brothers albums.. My favorite song of theirs either has to be “A Father’s First Spring” or “No Hard Feelings” and for my obscure song choice I’d say “Roof Over My Past”
Great session. Standout for me is this performance of "Prison To Heaven". Sounds great when they both sing it, but I really prefer it when Scott lets Seth lead the vocals on that song.

🐝 Genuine. Humble. Talented. Original. These are not adjectives one gets to string together all that often. Add to those: Beloved.

Well He might say...... My goodness, indeed! Love the Avett bros!
Scott's voice is my favorite voice ever, especially in that first song! 😍
Favorite singer ever.
Ahh! Their voices warm my soul!
My favorite band
Man...after he said "my goodness" to St. Peter telling him off. What a great honest and humorous moment in a serious song.
Victory - 0:29
Back Into The Light - 4:33
Prison to Heaven - 8:22
I and Love and You - 11:29
you're a real one :)
Beautiful men, so talented . They're music makes me happy!!. Good for the soul! Thank you guys!
this is all it needs for a recording. sounds far better than their studio recordings. two voices, two guitars and some natural reverb. Awesome.
Their musicianship is such a gift.
I love them so much.eight shows
Seth was a neighbor down the street in my NYC neighborhood
And then the pandemic happened...
Thank you, sweet men ❤
Thank you for so many years of such world class music and interviews, etc. The Avett Brothers are my favorite of all time and this was a joy to watch 💜

@Tom Bosson I think this may be my favorite recording I’ve heard of Victory yet..
@Tom Bosson of course, what’s not to love?! Do you have a favorite song of theirs?

Say LOVE!
Great set of songs. Love the acoustic guitars and vocal harmony. Thanks for the musical gift you provide!!!
Thx Love;)
Gorgeous, sounds and words both. Thank you.

i needed this today.
I need to listen to these guys more often
God i love them
Beautiful
Bob looks so young with his buzz cut!
drawing a few tears
Anyone have any idea what microphones these are? They sound great!
Super!!!
❤️❤️❤️
I hear something from Jessica Mayfield and Elliot Smith in Victory
What are those mics? I think I recognize the vocal mics, but what are those little guys on the guitars?
Those are ribbon mics. Look custom.
@@jclearetube the tiny round mic with a visible diaphragm? Not the Coles they're singing into.
They look like the E22s. vintageking.com/josephson-e22s
A nod to you in the back, oh hairy-armed bassist.
I can't find the interview on worldcafe.org...
Coming up tomorrow!
It's up now at www.npr.org/sections/world-cafe/2020/11/13/934540767/the-avett-brothers-third-gleam-reminds-us-why-we-fell-in-love-with-them
Great song. Too much harmony. Harmony is a strong spice. Salt carefully
Scott out here looking like $.99 Les Claypool.
Is broom grass s thing? How much thc? You can smoke a broom? People never knew this.
🐝 Well, there go the brooms.
