Why isn't this channel more popular? All these shows are so good and binge worthy
British food isn’t really that popular in the general public especially outside of the UK
They get away with saying such naughty things in British cooking shows! I love it.
@James Cunico Christmas? Bah! Humbug!
Watching this is wonderfully therapeutic . The absolutely delightful Anna Haugh is the kind of soul whose presence makes this world a better place. All involved here are amazingly talented! Thank you all so very much for sharing God's gift with us non royals!
I definitely did not think that's how you'd spell Anna's last name prior to seeing this
Well , people forget who raise kings. Time come they recognized there is a true king who reign forever. Be ready! We can’t live by bread alone.
I love the way they have a go at each other. She’s an awesome chef. 😂😂
🕳🤺🥂🅦🅘🅒🅚🅔🅓☕👣🕶🧤🎩◼▪️
It would be interesting to compare the cookbook of Mildred Nicholls with the cookbook of Avis Crocombe, the cook of Audley End:)
I agree! These are so fascinating!!
I love these history plus food episodes! Never stop making these!
I love their cheek! Perfectly placed cracking on each other and taking the piss! I adore this channel, thanks for that lads well done you.
I ABSOLUTELY love when Michael asks questions, such as "What is Remoulade"? I'm not a very good cook, but I can put a good meal together, if I put my mind to it. Of course, ABSOLUTELY nothing like these two geniuses. FANTASTIC SERIES !! PLEASE NEVER STOP !!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING !!

Keep these amazing documentaries coming please; I love binge watching them
Love the Royal food series!🍖🥒🍅🍆
Loved seeing these intricate dishes of the Royal kitchen
My mouth is watering just watching them make Eaton Mess. Looks yummy!😍
Eton. Sorry.
flirtatious Buerk in the kitchen sizzles things up
I absolutely love this series, it's interesting to watch them perform such fine culinary arts! These recipes must be all very tasty, especially the sweets recipe's, LOL.
Really enjoying this series. Thanks for posting!
This was very informative and thoroughly enjoyed watching whilst quarantined.
I just watching this Show and I Love it.
From watching these episodes, I can only come to one conclusion on the food.... Don't. Bother. Counting. Calories.
I love these two....
Give us the exact recipes with ingredients . That will be more helpful
All were great.
Seafood pate` 😍
Great partnership - love the energy! LOVE the FOOD!!! Thank you.......................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've never heard of eaton mess, I'm in the us, but it looks wonderful.
Fancy people:
"Someone must eat summer dishes in summer time and winter dishes in winter time."
Me:
Just hold my napkin and watch.
We’re the dishes called “summer dishes “ because those ingredients were only available during that time?
I love this show💕
Ms Annie! Daryl!
1:50 any way of getting a copy of this cookbook?
Now that Eaton Mess I could go for.
I love the topic! :-)
Magnificent video
I tag those beaters!!!YUM!!! YAY ZmE!!!🤗🤭🤩😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻‼️
Se ve delicioso, debe serlo, no me pierdo estos videos, saludos.
I am from the USA and I love pork pies, I don't understand why they are not more popular here. Besides Mutton&Pork what other meat pies do you find in the UK?
I think I'm in love with the blond chef from London. She is very impressive and has great skills. I have worked in kitchens for over a decade, and I have yet to meet a female chef, certainly not one of her level of culinary mastery.
I wish I could be there taste testing for yall with an American opinion...lol
Yum as a cook my self all of this look so easy and so tasty. Wish I could help people who cant cook as easily as me.
Is there a cookbook available ?
Love watching these episodes kindly share the recipes Atleast if the chef could mention the ingredients and the measurements please 😅
King Henry VIII AND King Edward VII had enormous appetites
They were probably enormous themselves lol
Where can I find the recipes for these dishes? None of the videos Real Royalty posts include the recipes for the dishes they prepare & I find that greatly annoying as I would love to make some of them myself!
You have to watch and write it down. These shows are made for people who Either want To and know how TO cook ( like me) or for people who just wanna look at the beauty of the food. Sorry hon wish I could help more.
thebovineavenger
If you notice in the video, they say what ingredients are being put in, but not the amounts of them. If they stated the amounts I would just write it down.
wewalka.us/recipes/mini-puff-pastry-lamb-pies can get you started but you will have to modify as shown if you want the gelatin pool on top.
bizzy bee great to see you here love your channel
Nice hair has Anna Haugh
These people!
🍾🤤 yum
We like lighter food....yet we are fatter than ever before in human history?!
That face at 40:16 tho
Prince Phillip may not be interested in racing, but he’s still quite a horseman. He was instrumental in the development of the sport of combined driving, which is patterned after eventing, but with horse carriages. Jumping phases are replaces with with “slalom” courses with gates. Phillip competed with a four-in-hand. I’d imagine after driving four horses through the twists and turns of technical courses, racing may seem not that exciting.
39:20 Can he say "proper professional" without spitting in the passionfruit?
🙏🙏
The crab mousse 100% reminded me of canned cat food. You can't say it didn't look like it.
Good documentary thank you for uploading! I just wondered why they prepare every dish in advance, why they don't make a cut while the meals are in the oven etc. Greetings from Hungary 🙂
So much butter. How are they not 700 lbs each
Have you seen Queen Victoria before lol
What was that last fruit desert dish called?
And what 3 fruits mango, passionfruit and....?...
it's papaya
Eton Mess
I like mango and papaya, but not on the same plate or mixed ‘cocktail’ style. I don’t care for that tropical mixed sweet flavor.
"STUNK of horse, "bad" coffee, leather and just man"? Those are some of the most wonderful smells in the world, woman. What's wrong with you?
She's woke. It's 2020 ya know and en vogue to hate men...... and everything else.
😊👍
It’s all good things come to those who WAIT…..not to those who try, try again 🙄😂😂😂
The Queen would rather eat roadkill than anything with onions in it!
Well, given Phillip's last few forays as a licensed driver, she just may have eaten Balmoral road kill.
....and for the episode I watched yesterday the recipe included one big ol' clove of garlic. Hmph. I just find this Guy to be a selfish eater. Chef barely has her cutlery out of her portion and it looks like he pushes her aside with a "can I get....". He comes across like that every episode.
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tootsla 125 These recipes make me want to be a vegan.
@@marklauzon186--It reminds me of a CSI episode of a chef's murder where the kitchen mantra was: "Don't touch my knives; don't touch my johnson". Maybe he's afraid that she'll grab his gonads. Or that hers are bigger than his. Or maybe he's just a wanna be alpha male who can't cope with a female chef who is better at culinary arts than he is.
🙏🇬🇧🙏
I knew I was ROYAL I eat Macarons or Macarooons :)
Is that any explanation why gelatin being used so regularly in English dishes, even for savory dishes? I'm not familiar with that concept and feel it would be tasted odd somehow, otherwise for sweet food like fruit gelatine or cake or cheese cake. Kinda shocking but interested, how it does taste?
It's so fun to watch, to dive in history thorough food. Hope you all be safe, happy and keep make an awesome show♥️
I believe gelatin was originally used for preserving meat and fish dishes.
However, it later became popular with royals due to its flexibility to be able to create intricate and "show stopping" center pieces. .
The texture tolerance eludes me
The gelatin they’re using hasn’t any flavor. I think it’s that we’ve not really been exposed to set meats or vegetable ‘structures’. Our generation mostly know only sweets such as trifle etc.
Theres no taste to the gelatine. It just helps to set the food...could be savoury or sweet :)
Eton mess< delicious
Way too many commercials. Really takes away from the great show.
Delarah Moore wanted to leave so many times
If you scroll to the end of the video it will offer a "cancel" button. Click that and then the "restart arrow". In most cases it eliminates all adds. It's only not worked for me a few times. 😉
Thanks will try wanted to try ad free but waaaay to expensive
@@janiehelms4895 how much is the ad free charge?????
Lady Blue I think like 14.99 monthly
Boy, British people use A LOT of meringue and cream
Damn. This food is so British. I don’t mean it in a bad way. I live in SoCal and our food is very much inspired by Mexico. It’s just cool to see how other cultures eat. I am aware this is very upper class this food isn’t normal for your average person.
would love to eat that Chef taco.
I think I might take a crack at the cooked egg whites how do you say it mirange?
Marange
Lemon meringue pie is a family favorite. I’ll have to give Eton mess a try.
Jud hhh
Maybe stick the tip of it into the center...
They’re in King Charles The Second’s House..
Close this fire, please!
Gelatin, gelatin, nothing but gelatin. Oh, don't leave out the butter, blend it with the fish
🤣
why would darrin add butter to every fish layer,,,,,too much butter for me,,,,
If you mix papaya and mango, you're likely to get tummy trouble.
He takes too much
This would be much better without Michael.
Hmm.. curious why you say that. He’s the presenter and the one charged with bringing the history that the series is based on.
Some recipes should just be left to history!
I don't eat lamb! (UGH!)
Let alone 'mutton'! (Oh, ISH!!!)
The Queen can have mine!
All she wants!!!!!
"Seems I had a few to many hors d'oeuvre, madame."
Do not use alcohol. Be better than that. God Forbade it. The health detriments are proven. I ask Dear God humbly to Bless you and your family.🍱🐝🌼🌼🍡🐹🐝🐶🐶🍿🌹🐣🐣🦉🐴🐼😢😢🌆🌆🌼🥒🥒🍱🐚😁🦋🍓🍓🌈💐🌸❤️🌸🕌🌸🕌🌸🕌🕌🕌🕌🕌🕌🕌🕌
Alcohol is required in the making of certain dishes. Absolutely necessary. And which "god" is it that you're talking about? There have been over 3,500 of them created by man in all of recorded human history. None of them actually exist, so what difference would it make whether this fictitious deity forbade it or not? Science has proven that moderate consumption of some alcoholic beverages have considerable health benefits. So what is it that you are babbling on about anyway? Why are you trying so desperately to impose your wishes on everyone else?
Didn’t Jesus turn water into wine?
lost me at gelatine
No..Lizie's favourit meal was Diana's heart cooked Well Done
Too much talking, where are all the recipes , the food, very disappointing. Do they have to chop everything up, you loose taste that way, like eating baby food.
Is it just me or is the sexual tension between these two always palpable lol
Christopher Glover that tension you feel is her ignoring his constant filthy comments and looks he’s assaulted her with. 🤦♀️.
I think he's more into the food. Not sure about her! I'm sure their both a lot of fun!
I'm only seeing it from one side and its super cringe inducing
What exactly is the Royal protocol for taking a Royal sh*t after eating these Royal dishes. A little too pretentious for my taste. Cheerio!
Has anyone else noticed Dr. Annie Grey's digs at men? Whether it is in this series, or others, she does appear to have an agenda. One wonders how she would react to any comment that had the vaguest whiff off of misogyny, even if she had to stay up all night "thinking" about it. She is very intelligent, but her apparent misandrist agenda is dismaying.
Probably gay.
Oh wow, do we have the pleasure of knowing how she passes her food? Is it bulky?
Royalty.....totally ridiculous.
you can say that again,,,but the people in briton just love them,,,,,,that cow markle spent 80 thousand dollars on her dress just 1 dress for engagement pictures,,,can you believe it, and the british people barely noticed, while there are so many poor starving families over there,,,shame on the lot of them,,,,
Mutton pie???? Ewww
Is Michael crazy to make those masajonistic jokes?!?! Did you see the look on his face everytime she makes comments? He acts like its sexual!? In this day and age now?? He doesn't do this with male chefs.
These mutton pies at 8 min. look disgusting especially the dough, like all English food
