To my non-British friends, marrow is a fully grown zucchini. Most zucchini that people eat is picked before it grows to full size. I once grew a zucchini (marrow) to the size of a newborn baby! They don’t have much flavour but they have add a nice texture and absorb whatever flavour they’re paired with. Hope this was helpful 😊🥒
Thank you for edifying marrow. Much appreciated. So wish the recipes offered in this series could be made available in printed format. I would happily pay for the text if “Real Royalty Recipes” produced the recipes in book form.

And bla apples are not used. A tart fruit is used. A hot pepper in some varieties . Chutney was the first recipe I learned to can and its fun and easy. .
When he said pudding rice he means short grain. I looked for arborio rice that was recommended, but the price was insane. I tried sushi rice, which is short grain too, and the rice pudding went just fine. 12 egg yolks though? A bit much!
