I love how Danya often starts videos like "hey everyone, sorry but I've been awake for 37 hours now and it's 4am, so I apologize if I come off a little tired" but the videos are always top notch regardless.
The vienna is how I get games with 99% accuracy. It is all you need in life. I have no credit and no money in my bank account. My wife left me and took the kids but it doesn't matter. I have my vienna and no one can take that away. Bless you danya ur vids are amazing.
@@tookaysevonWith best play yes, but anything under 2000 you almost always get a better position against black since opponents simply don't know the theory as well as white does
HELL YES DANYA ♥ You could do nothing but 15+10 Speedruns for the rest of your channel and I would still watch every single one. The extra time allows you to really deep-dive into key concepts where you feel necessary, and the advice is always absolutely invaluable. Thank you!
I was actually looking forward towards the 5 min intuitive based speed runs, so I guess I'm pretty disappointed in seeing that Danya reverted back to the 15 min way. Still speedruns are very important and enjoyable so its not all bad
@lukarunjic2704 15 min format lands itself better to more thorough explanations. Everybody is then welcome to apply what they've learned to a blitz/bullet time format if they so wish.
This level of chess instruction by one of the strongest blitz players in history would've easily cost hundreds of dollars for aspiring chess players back in the day. Thank you sir for your contributions and classiness. You are the epitome of the modern chess grandmaster.
I personally preferred the faster time format and stronger focus on intuition, but I also completely understand that the longer time format is more popular. And it's not like another 15+10 speedrun is a bad thing - thank you for the hard work, Danya! (Just please take care of yourself and don't burn out)
If you extract maximum value from his puzzle solving videos where he literally shows how to calculate and do active rather than passive learning you can go higher
April 1 is on the horizon, a lesson containing nothing but terrible advice could be amazing, especially if he loses every game in that speedrun installment
Danya, the 15 + 10 format is much unique from the rest of the speedruns on YT for that reason we enjoy and appreciate this format better. As your subscriber I am here to learn and your in depth knowledge is priceless. It’s a blessing to be able to learn from you. Thank you!
That certainly rings true, most chess content creators either play blitz or talk over an analysis board. Talking out your thought process over a longform game is surprisingly rare!
Like you say, you can't please everyone at once. But all the comments and feedback all have one thing in common: we are all grateful for your content Danya. Longer games, shorter games, whatever... just keep doing your thing. No one teaches chess like you. Thank you!
A streamer taking on board feedback has to be commended. This is by far the most informative speedrun on the internet. The time taken to analyse positions and possibilities is valued - thank you.
Thank you Daniel for returning to the 15 minute speedrun format. It's quite literally my favorite content on youtube. My improvement has not been as spectacular as some of your other viewers, but I'm having a lot of fun trying to get better using your suggested opening repertoire. Cheers!
Thank you Daniel for your humility and honorable character in the intro. I greatly admire you on the board, but i am overjoyed that i can say i equally admire your character.
Sorry more people weren’t really feeling the five minute structure, but I’m glad you’re still making speedrun videos. I will keep watching them as long as you’re making them, regardless of what format you choose. Love this series! Nobody teaches chess like you do!
Thank you for switching back, Danya! the 15+10 format allows me to take some time to think with you at each move, and the more relaxed vibe of this format gives me more time to really digest the logic behind your moves, and thus improve my skills. Love what you do, thank you!
Daniel Naroditsky belongs in the chess hall of fame for his contributions to the game of chess. Mass quantity, ultra quality instruction on openings, tactics, middle game play, positional concepts, fundamentals, endgames, and overall grandmaster philosophy of play. Thankyou sir
"collapsing on all cylinders ". I love it ! Against players 1400 and below I love to play the basic bishop trap line against the London for black d4 Nf6, Bf4 c6, e3 g5 . Obviously it doesn't work against Nf3. Its always fun to land the move Qa5+ after Bxg5. Great lesson Danya thank you, nice to know the c5 line a bit now if I can remember it. BTW I have stopped playing standard chess online . I only play chess 960 online these days. But I really enjoy only playing standard chess OTB.
Don’t usually comment, but I promise I don’t click so fast on anything else. Thank you for you time, knowledge and execution. You articulate well, and draw out the beauty of the game in a fundamental way- never boring. Thank you.
You are a fantastic teacher Danya. A lot of top players seem to be poor teachers-But this is not the case with you. Thanks for making these speed-runs available to everyone on UA-cam. 🙌
I was looking forward to the 5-minute blitz format, but I’m excited again for this longer format as it definitely more instructive! Great first video Danya 👏👏 keep it up 👍
Glad to hear you're back to 15+10. You really excel at explaining your thoughts at this time control and supplementing the game with useful and relevant master games!
Hey Danya! I love your content, and I was wondering if you could play a game in the Sicilian Shveshnikov! I would love to see it, because I've been learning it for the last few months. Everytime i see your video pop up I think "today is going to be a good day!"
I just played my first online chess game and i won it by playing Nc6,c5 and Qb6 against the same opening It was against a 199 rated opponent and now i have 497 rating Your videos are awesome Thank you
Danya, these videos have been the most helpful chess tool out there. I can sympathize with your hesitation to starting a new, identical speedrun to those you already did. But each game is so different and warrants different discussions. I go back and rewatch your previous speedrun catalogs when I have similar positions in my games. I am so excited for another speedrun
Slower games where you are able to explain in such detail is super helpful. Blitz is fun and entertaining as well, but slower games definitely help us more. Thanks
Thank you from listening to the feedback Danya. I didn't complain myself, but I do agree that this time control format is better for my learning. Also, while I slightly prefer 15+10, I think a straight 10 minute time control is just fine if you're a little worn out. Keep up the great work :)
I appreciate all the effort you put into your instructional content. No matter what format you decide to do, I always feel I learn a lot from you, and if nothing else it’s entertaining to watch you play.
So glad you keeping the format! Was rooting for you and Hess. Very entertaining to listen to you two. He really seems to boost your confidence and is a good partner for you. Thanks Danya.

Great decision to go with the 15+10 time control. What I'd love to see in this speedrun is a balanced opening repertoire. Meaning 50/50 split of E4 and D4 with white and also some balance with black.
Over an hour of 15+10 time control is heavennn. Danya I gotta say I love the format of you explaining the game like you were playing against a GM no matter the rating, I think that’s something you haven’t done before (at least this deeply). This will make an excellent series!

TYVM for playing my response to white opening D4 called Modern Benoni. I only know 7 openings which is 2 as black responding to white 2 main pawn openings. And 5 for white depending on 5 responses from black after I open with E5. So this Modern Benoni is one of my 7. My response if they don't eat or advance is to just eat.
