I’ve made several times and I love how easy and delicious this soup is. I purée the Tomatos and broth with an immersion blender before adding eggs. I like the puréed consistency. Thank you!

I'm pretty sure that if you add the cornstarch first, let it thicken, then do egg drop the egg becomes tendrils easier and makes more beautiful / tasty ones. The viscous liquid stops it from dissolving I think

This makes a simple and delicious lunch. I added some mushrooms in with the tomatoes and some leftover shredded chicken with the broth to make it a little heartier. Yum!

very easy soup to make. At first, I had troubles trying to get the eggs to appear presentable since I poured it in way too soon but my mom told me I had to turn off the stove, wait and then pour it.

Oh the irony, we just used your pad Thai noodle pack for dinner tonight and I made some chicken broth for an egg drop soup as our 4 backyard chickens are all laying again and we have excess eggs to use, and then you put out this video... Too funny 🤣
It’s my favourite “fast food”
After u stirred the soup then drizzled the egg in I noticed that that the egg went to center and look blah. But the next shot it looked fluffy and delicious, did u stir it again ? Or did it just puff up and spread around on it own before u put the corn starch in it?
the egg naturally come back out fluffed up. Do it once and you'll know what's going on. Try to drop the egg from high up so it goes deeper into the soup.

Please don’t add any soy sauce in a Chinese soup and I suggest the corn powder water should be heated after put into the soup before serving… others are good
