Congrats Marion! And also thanks for this uber easy and delicious recipe that's going into rotation. I've never thought about using tomatoes in Egg Drop Soup but I'm also thinking of re-hydrating some Shiitake mushrooms in the stock for some extra oomph.

Right before I found out I was pregnant with my second, I was eating raw onions a lot, and one day I just ate an onion like an apple and my husband was like, “go get some pregnancy tests. Pretty sure you’re pregnant.” 😂😂😂

I love scrambled eggs with maggi seasoning on toast smeared with honey. Not pregnant, just a weird combo I've been eating since childhood. 😂

That sounds delicious even without being pregnant. How about this for a weird pregnancy craving... 2 scoops of Rocky Road ice cream, 1/2 can of RC Cola and, drum roll please, 1 cup of Corn Pops. That’s right, Corn Pops CEREAL! It was SO yummy, I had it every day in my last trimester! And I was very lucky... no gestational diabetes. Lol
After I gave birth, though, I was craving it when I came back from the hospital and to my surprise, IT WAS AWFUL! Hahaha

My mom always loves to make this soup! Usually she doesn't stir the egg before so sometimes there is a whole egg yolk to find somewhere, and I loved eating that little egg nugget! Usually she uses fish sauce instead of soy sauce though (we're vietnamese, everyone has fish sauce in their kitchen asdfghjkl)

I don't know whether it's the food chemistry or your chemistry in your food preparation that have me drooling while I watch. It's so pleasant to watch you prepare food without any hint of difficulty in the process to achieve perfection in the end results. You put calm and sophistication in the kitchen even if it is only one dish at a time. You cannot fake that demeanor.

The store bought tomatoes in the US are tasteless, I had to add sugar which I hate but I do love this soup. I need to start growing my own tomatoes, home grown are the best.
Remy N. I used canned tomatoes from Italy.......much better than our US store bought tomatoes.
