Congrats on the new little one! I love these soups. Pro tip: if you want the egg to "bloom" more so they're not clumpy, pour them over a fork. The tines of the fork splits up the egg so you get more "strings" in your soup. :D
I'm full Asian and love other cuisines but I can't live without Asian foods, especially soups. Whether it's -40° or 115°no time is a bad time for Asian soups 😄
Marion is unquestionably one of my favorite purveyors of excellent recipes and techniques. However, today I especially want to mention how appreciative I am of her superbly crafted videos which are delivered in such a relaxed manner. I especially enjoy watching her videos before trying to fall asleep - soothing information to help me forget anxieties of my day. Patricia
I was always the “hot and sour soup” girl too! Would recommend adding wood ear mushrooms and wait to add the vinegar and (WHITE) pepper, with a splash of sesame oil, until the very end since they tend to dissipate when added too early!
OMG Ive been searching for years for a decent Hot and sour soup I used to get in NY, in Australia now and no such luck until..... your recipe I made from scratch You're a true gem!!!!😊❤❤ Marion, it's better than the original and is taking me back.I'm screaming with delight 😂 and is giving me all the feels Bless THANKYOU THANKYOU
your vlog popped up on my screen and i love ur channel coz i first of all i am asian and love ur recipes and way of guiding peeps on how to make them...thank you😋😋😋🙏🙏🙏
Marion, these soup recipes are wonderful! Your videos are soothing, and I greatly appreciate the calmness I have during and after watching them, not to mention the wonderful recipes. You and your videos bring me joy. Thank you and congrats on baby. 😊😊❤❤
Dear Marion, So happy for your joy to come!! 🐣 I have made a big stockpot of the tomato eggdrop soup and brought it to my workplace for potluck. There was not a drop left by the end of the night. Truly simple and delicious. Thanks for another fantastic recipe.
Congrats on the new little! My morning sickness was triggered visually rather than odors, yes, I know, it's odd. When I was preggers with my first, I could not have anything with a creamy sauce over it. I could not even see a television commercial where a creamy salad dressing was poured over lettuce! With my second little, it was pink/peach. The colour... it applied to foods (strawberries, papaya, melons, all out of the picture) AND it applied to anything I would look at. I was having a girl, can you imagine the amount of pink items I got!? I would drive my first little to his Nana's when I went to work and there were exactly 25 pink/coral painted houses along the route and she knew to wait by the door with a bucket! Good luck and many blessings for the new little!
Sold from the first recipe! My boyfriend hates cauliflowers and he would never know. I was one of those weird kids that ate all my vegetables and still genuinely enjoy them. I want to learn all different types of soup recipes and these seem very simple, thanks for sharing.
Congratulations Marion :). You're such a ray of sunshine apart from the awesome chef that you are. Thank you for all the lovely recipes you've shared with us down the line, I have made a couple of them and they are always yummmyy 😋. 💕
TY for sharing these beautiful recipes! I adore soups and totally agree with you about getting dried shrimp for intense flavor. I’m in Texas next to Louisiana and my husband used dried shrimp for his water to add flavor to the gumbo . So I appreciate your tips and secrets you share . Congratulations on your pregnancy! 😊so excited for you’ll
I gotta find dried shrimp. I used to make rice with shrimp stock, and the flavor it lends is amazing. Especially for fried rice. It gave my rice a flavor I used to get from a Chinese takeout place that I absolutely adored in their beef fried rice.
I just found you today, lucky me. You are a fabulous cook and instructor. Thank you for posting all of your cooking videos. I know what I’m going to be doing for the next week or more. P.S. I love your mom. She’s adorable.
Your enthusiasm is inspiring and lifts my spirits 😊 I’ll be sure to try one. Question: my family says you get more taste and Kollagen out of the chicken if its in smaller peaces. Does that apply? And would it cook quicker if its in peaces? congratulations on the family addition ! 🎉 One „off note“ though, the intromusik is off key it actually hurt to listen. 😅 Thanks as always for the videos.
Congratulations Marion! I thought I noticed in one of your videos, even looked at the date to see if it was an older video, lol, but to be safe I said nothing. Looks and feels like a boy, cant wait to hear. All these recipes look tasty, and I will be testing them out. Thank you Marion, I'm so happy for you, and hoping this baby has your sense of humor and talent for cooking. See you soon!
Blessings to you and your precious one on the way. Thanks for sharing these lovely soups. They are just what I need for using up some chicken that I poached.
Congrats on your bun in the oven!! (probably already born now?) Also, that wonton soup looks divine!! Simple is my favorite ingredient when it comes to dumpling soup. And that tip about boiling them in separate water was so PRO!!! I love a dumpling soup with clear broth!! Yumm!! Well done babe! Love from Miami FL, USA
Oh, I can't wait to make some of these recipes. Question: is corn flour the same as corn starch? Thank you, Marion. Congratulations on your new addition!
Wow, I could eat one after the other. Unfortunately, I live in country where increadients are not easy to get besides driving into the big cities and then, I will only get half of what I need for them (i.e. those wonderful small mushrooms I never ate before. But most of THESE soups are manageable. Great thank you-s from Cyprus. Also great to know you enlarge your sweet family. Great Channel great thumbs up!
One of the best things about watching Marion's videos (aside from the amazingly delicious recipes) is watching the joy she takes in taste testing her recipes.
Omg, that chicken corn soup brings back memories for me too! Definitley making that one this week. Thanks Marion and congrats on your soon-to-arrive bundle of joy 🥰
Im making the chicken and sweetcorn soup tonight for my two kids. My 5 year old daughter is a very picky eater and the 7 year old is not as bad, as he loves corn. My daughter is constantly gives me a thumbs up or thumbs down and sometimes in-between, lol when I cook. So hopefully she gives me the thumbs up.
This wonton soup recipe looks INSANE....Thank you Marion!! Can't wait to try it out! Your tomato egg drop and hot and sour soup are amazing and I make them often!!
Congrats to you for the newest 😂addition to your family. Your videos are enjoyable and fun to watch. I love your recipes such great food! Take some time for yourself too!
The hot and sour soup looks sooo good! Personally I can't eat mushrooms. Do you have any tips on how to make the same kind of soup, but without the mushrooms? Can I use any other veggies for this kind of soup? They all look great and I really want to try them all 😍
On another note had your Ramen last night ‘twas good & for a fluke I got the eggs all 4 perfectly mildly runny but firm you know the vibe , where they ooze out slowly , so next is to try the Butter chicken recipe
Love your channel! Any particular reason why lately there’s just been voiceovers instead of a full live video? I really liked your old format. Still great, but prefer the old format. 😁❤️

Just when I start getting all confident and big for my boots-- along comes the task of mincing a single clove of garlic into a dish. How do people get that single clove actually into the dish they're cooking?! Most of mine stays stuck firmly into all the little grooves and nubs on the front of the grater and only a few drips and drabs fall into the pan, with the majority impossible to even scrape off. What a waste. I'm clearly no pro-home cook if I can't master grating a single clove of garlic (as directed). Thanks Marian for cutting me down to size. This cook clearly has some basics still to master. 🤣🤣
Pssst! I'm gonna get killed for this. But Mr Zhou at the local takeout taught me to use Knorr chicken powder when in a hurry. This might be my last comment.
Congrats on the new little one! I love these soups. Pro tip: if you want the egg to "bloom" more so they're not clumpy, pour them over a fork. The tines of the fork splits up the egg so you get more "strings" in your soup. :D

Such a great tips! -Team Marion's Kitchen
Thanks that’s very clever 🎉
I love it when individuals share tips with all. Her videos are amazing. However your tip just added to the ability to prepare the soup perfectly

Marion can you frizz the wonton after cooking?
Instead of the dried shrimp.. can we use a little fish sauce for the Stockholm?

Your child is absolutely beautiful! Nice to see a child eat real food rather than frozen chicken nuggets and boxed Mac & Cheese.
Lemon. Lots of lemon juice must be added, then this would be a perfect soup :))
look yummy
congratulations on your new addition.
Can we add brocoli instead cauliflower????
Congratulations!!
Congrats💕
Can you add something other than shrimp? I’m allergic.
FYI the second video is older...dont get the wrong idea. she's not pregnant at the moment XD she already gave birth two years ago.
Are you sure ? Because she is liking all the Congrats comments...
So she has 2 children she always talks about 1
